The store use to be amazing Kris made that store the best in Jacksonville. Now I don't know what happened. Kris is not there and the store looks a mess. It will be closed down soon just like the others.

I‘m in here *all* the time between my own shopping and my job, and this is by far the best Dollar General in Jacksonville. While all their employees are fantastic, Amanda is honestly the highlight - she is friendly and personable and engages customers while ringing them up. She‘s always eager to help both her coworkers and shoppers. She deserves a lot more credit than she gets.

I went to this Dollar General Store on 8/8 around 7:30 PM and was disgusted by the customer service. I was overcharged. My subtotal was $9.50, and with 7.5% sales tax, the total should have come out to $10.21. However, I was charged $15.11, an overcharge of nearly $5.
When I asked a staff member about it, she was rude and dismissive, saying, “I don’t know what to tell you,” before walking off. Both she and the cashier were more focused on yelling “The store is closed” than helping a paying customer.
Completely unacceptable! They were very rude w/bad attitudes.

Cleanest store in this area. Love not having to fight to get past the stock in the isles. Everything is easy to find and staff is superb! Staff is always ready to help and to help u save $$
