Shout out to Kirstin Murray at 5/3 Bank for helping my business by evaluating my type of account and my needs for my customers. Her work resulted in saving us Hundreds of dollars a month in fees. Then we updated our credit card machined to the latest and greatest technology with features that I didn't know existed, So thanks soooo much Kristin Murray at the Merril road branch!!! You did a great job !!!!

Wow. I have two savings accounts with Fifth Third and when I tried to transfer money into my checking account I was told that my accounts were dormant because I had not made a deposit in over three years. They would not remove that status from my accounts unless I went by a branch and made a physical deposit ( would not let me transfer money from my checking account because that is considered a “transfer” not a “deposit”. The nearest branch to me is about 20 miles away and it will take almost 1 hour to get there. I was told that it was their policy to place accounts in “dormant” status if no action on it which I understand. What I don’t understand is when the customer calls and requests that the status be removed that it is not. Is it not my money?

Was sent here for a notary after going to Regency branch which did not have one. To make matters worse I was sent to drive to the Merrill branch and they did not have a notary either. They both suggested I go pay at a UPS store. Wasted time, diesel money and showed poor communication once again with this same situation. I then drive to Kernan and Beach Blvd Branch and same story. No notary so I had to go pay a 3rd week in a row at the UPS store.

I usually have a very positive experience since opening my account with you. However, I attempted to deposit a check from a lady I know personally. The check is absolutely good,but the teller shook her head no to the younger teller who came to me and said we can't deposit this check. Why? It was red flagged. I said I know this woman, I will call her now and ask her why she gave me a bogus check. My client called her bank which said they don't know why it was red flag. That it wasn't on their end. The older killer shook her head no before she even ran it through the thing. And this is it, why not deposit it? I mean if the funds aren't available you're not going to put them in my account I'm not going to be able to access the money so what do you have to lose by depositing the check? If this is what I have to go through every time I go to deposit a check and do banking with fifth third Bank then I would just assume close my account and open one somewhere else

If you read the comments please believe them. I went in to open a new account I waited 15 no one greeted me. No one was busy with other people. It’s true the service here is poor.

Jennifer and Meghan were simply amazing!! They were so pleasant and fast. Got my account open in under 20 mins and went over in detail of what I was getting. I was so pleased!!

It’s really sad when your with this bank for over six years and they charge u 2.00 dollars to get a money order sad you would think all the business of my family and friends they would do money orders for free if you bank there

Just say no to surly, lying, offshore credit card customer service. Giving 1 star for the friendly local lady at my branch when I went to close my accounts.

Deleting reviews will not hide the truth about the things that go on at this bank. Please be aware of manger and banker Jessica. They are both married and seem to have a love affair going on. Do not bank here. You will be lied too and accused of anything because of skin color.
