John Goodfriend was the only reason I kept my accounts here. The tellers are rude and not personable. I used to come in the lobby to get cash out or cash checks, the teller asked why I didn’t just go to the ATM. I found this to be odd, a) because that was the most she said to me and b) considering these transactions in a lobby are what keeps a teller position in existence in this digital age. Definitely a deterrent, I will be taking my accounts down the street. Their app is trash too; user friendly—however, crashes maybe once every other month and then will lock you out

Had some fraud but great customer service from my local branch to help me. Real people like Crissy and Jim offer 5 star customer service in an automated (1* banking)system. The automated system at 5/3 is a 5/3 worse but no one in the teck. Department can be reached or cares.

Was helped by: Jessica Benz-Thooft Outstanding customer service! 10/10 I bank with chase, Bank of America and Amex apart from Fifth-Third bank and my experience today with Fifth Third was the best I've had with any banking institution. Had an appointment at 12:30pm. Jessica called me in advance to confirm the appointment and during the phone call I gave her a brief description of what I wanted.When I got to the bank she had all the documents ready EXACTLY as I wanted them. I was in an out in less than 5 minutes. Must say it's really awesome when you go in thinking that it would take a lot of explaining to get what you want, but the other person gets it right without you doing so! Definitely recommend this branch and Fifth Third bank.

After a HORRID experience with multiple 121 credit union branches I looked around - wanted a branch that was open during the virus and that I didn't have to jump through hoops to get a reservation. I came in, spoke to Heather and easily set up an account. She was very nice. Even got to meet Jim, the manager. And although he didn't shake my hand, I'll let it slide in wake of this virus.

Very rude, MJ the manager, doesn't return calls and has a snarky attitude. When fifth third gets bought out by a larger better run bank she will be the first one they get rid of

Great assistance in branch. Admittedly I got nowhere calling their national customer service line but when I spoke to the manager, Jim at the branch, I was pleasantly surprised with his digging to get to the bottom of my issue. He followed up several times on the phone. Staff is helpful and friendly, good local bank.

Best Customer Service of any bank I have dealt with! Both locations on San Jose Blvd, Mandarin, in Jacksonville have given us great service every time we visited. We have 3 generations of history with these banks, and the service has always been top notch. Not sure why someone from NY would post a review on a bank in Jacksonville, but if there was a problem in 2014, it has been rectified. Mr. Goodfriend and Ms. Jewett at the South Mandarin branch have been very helpful always. I could not ask for better service!
