After calling to see if there might be an appointment to bring my senior dog in because of vomiting, I was told to do a walk alone n. The customer service rep. was nice on the phone. So driving from OP to cassette ave to see 2 people waiting, the desk girl sad she called back to the doctor to see if they could see my boy due to vomiting and not eating. They said no I could make an appointment. Mind you I have been going there forever! Nobody even looked up info...I will not be going back there. Wasted time, and my dog is still sick.Told me to go to another's vet...and gave me a list. ???

My fur baby Queen was attacked by something the night before Christmas Eve. I took her to Normandy Animal clinic and they turned her away. I learned about First Coast and they got her in as soon as they could. They started Queen on a wound care plan and the staff was absolutely amazing and comforting throughout the whole process. And they was 100 percent affordable and worked with us on the cost of care!!! I recommend them to anyone... Thank you to all the staff at First Coast I'm furever grateful

I went to the Norwood location to have my new stray cat seen. I made an appointment and was bringing him in to have the Cat package done, FELV, Heart-worm and fecal. The vet technician takes him back and a few minutes later she comes back with my cat and doctor. They tell me that my cat was stressed and was hissing, which I told them he was a stray, so yes he would be hissing. The doctor told me it was best to do everything when he is neutered and went to find out when the cat could be brought back in for the procedure. He came back in and gave me a date, then I asked for an estimate. A young lady came in and gives me an estimate for over $200! This is suppose to be low cost! They proceeded to charge me for an office visit even though (supposedly) he was hissing . What kind of an exam did he do….a visual! Why charge me $25 for a visual exam. When I complained about the office charge when the cat wasn’t taken out of the carrier, the excuse was the Doctor talked to me. There wasn’t an exam done and because the doctor talked to me, I owe $25 Plus the $200 when he’s neutered. First of all, I’m on a fixed income, but don’t qualify for free neutering or spaying. So, the office is charging me $25 for a non existent office visit was unfair, plus your pet is taken to the back without you. Obviously I’m there because I can’t afford a normal vet! What kind of shady business is that? I don’t recommend going there and if you do don’t waste your time with the doctor coming in to tell you they couldn’t examine your pet. The front office girls are rude and seem to hate their jobs. I am very disappointed.

This place is a complete joke! I took my pet in, and the lady who was supposed to evaluate her told me to come back the following day. Well, she charged me for the office visit and for an evaluation only to make me return the following day when they charged me again! 2 times for the same thing with the same result of not sure what was wrong. Then she proceeded to tell me in order to go any further, they would need another $500 after they charged me twice for doing the same thing both days. Needless to say , I don't recommend this horrible, unprofessional place and if you need a real diagnosis, I'd recommend seeing a regular vet maybe one a friend recommends. I ended up going to a county vet that knew immediately what was wrong with my cat and had her on the proper medication right away. I was also very disappointed in the attitudes I received from the staff. Very unprofessional!
