Shopping for a medicare plan. My first thought was BCBS of FL. Wow how things have changed. Never managed to get a person on the phone all morning. I can only imagine getting a rep to pick up a phone for a problem or complaint would be even harder if you can't get them to pick up the phone for a sale! Talk about dodging a bullet! End of the day folks, I'd advice going elsewhere. These folks don't want to give support, they just want your money.

No customer service when it's outsourced to another country. Why are we outsourcing healthcare to another country? Is it because you don't even understand how american healthcare works, you expect some underpaid idiot thay barely speaks English to help?

TOTAL TRAIN WRECK! RUN AWAY! I have waisted hundreds of hours AND thousands of dollars dealing with these people. From claim descriptions that are written in total gibberish to appeals that are ignored and mishandled. They sent me 10 Monthly Summary Statements in 4 months, can't understand their gibberish, multiple claims for the same items. AND THEN when you call the phone rep doesn't know what a MSS even is. I have waisted DAYS trying to work w their Dental Program. I finally get dialed in to a dentist and in 6 mos he drops FLBlue. Poor coverage w dental as well. Disgusted in many ways and many times.

I seem to have been enrolled byHealth Options, Inc which also operates under the name Florida Blue Hmo, without my consent or knowledge. I keep receiving bills, letters and IDs. I've called the number on the card for florida blue hmo and they stated they are not able to cancel account because an independent contractor enrolled me. WHAT??? i've been in touch with several help desks that not only give me a mayor headache but they apparently are unable to help as well. I have another insurance that I chose, UHC medicare advantage and I am in shock that anyone can just enroll a person without even having a conversation. It is not a rollover because for 2022 and 2024 I had Wellcare. It is frustrating to say the least. CERO STARSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

We got our taxes done last Saturday, which I dreaded. Instead of using AARP taxes services, we used Real Sense through the United Way. Florida Blue partner with United Way To offer free tax services to low - and moderate income families. Your appointment was at 10 am, but we were nit seen until 11 am. No worries, coffee and water were supplied while we waited. Stevie and our team were wonderful doing the taxes and reverifying before being sent to the IRS. The taxes were done, and I owe uncle same over 2 grand. Not bad for a 1 hour wait! A couple of days ago, I came back for a class hosted by Florida Blue about Station medication. The nurse who presented was knowledgeable. I think I was the youngest in attendance. During the lunch and learn, we were treated to a salad, fig leaves, and a spinach roll. I ate so fast I forgot to take a picture. I am looking forward to possibly taking a class on mental health. Nit only dies the Florida Blue center offer tax return assistance and lunch and learn but also sponsor exercise classes free of charges to members and seniors. I am not a fan of Florida Blue insurance, but I am happy I got taxes done, checked, and ongoing classes to take care of my mental and physical state. Until next class, Florida Blue, adios for now!

I've had a Florida Blue ACA policy for several years now. It's a bronze policy that I pay $1,150.00/month for. I had to go to an urgent care facility for the first time in December, so I went online to see which one was in my plan. I put in my policy number and it told me where I could go without a copay, so I went there. I was charged a $100 co-pay and Florida Blue said that I should have clicked another filter in my website search and it would have told me that that facility wasn't in my plan. I explained that I entered my specific policy number and the Florida Blue website should have automatically filtered out places that weren't in my plan. By now I was speaking to the supervisor and he said that they've had that problem a lot. I told him that I pay $14K a year for this policy and that I've been a fairly long-term Florida Blue client, that I don't shop other companies during open enrollment, and that I just go to the Florida Blue storefront each year and get a policy (all of which is true). He said that he couldn't make an adjustment. It told him that I won't sign up again with Florida Blue. If he cared, he didn't say so. I won't sign up with them again. I've paid well over $100k in premiums to them over the past 10-12 years with only routine claims for doctor's visits. As a business owner myself, I'm shocked that they would lose my business over something as minor as this, especially when their own website mislead me. But I'll be true to my word; I won't buy insurance from them again. I've been loyal to them, but they clearly have no loyalty to me.
