We sat down to eat they brought out clear soup as normal but when we all tasted the soup it tasted like beef/bone broth not legitimate clear soup. Kids said Ramen noodles were better. It started to upset our stomach so all 5 of us asked to pay for our drinks and we left. Would not return nor recommend this place for good food. Okinawa on Roosevelt is top notch take the extra drive time and go there instead.

I've been to 5 different hibachi restaurants in Jacksonville. Their cooks and show is absolutely the best. The food is always perfectly cooked. The staff is outstanding and makes you feel valued. This is why I keep going back!Dietary restrictions: They are very cooperative when asking for accommodations to dietary restrictions and also for our little picky eater.Kid-friendliness: The cooks always take my young daughters into account. They are gentle on her with the flames, not to over do it and scare her, but also interact with her and the other guests to make everyone feel welcome and part of the dinner. I LOVE their cooks. We've had 3 different ones on multiple occasions. The one with the boombox coming out always makes for a nice laugh. Sometimes its nice seeing them at the other tables while eating soup/taking orders or finishing up our meals. Great experience!

Very good sushi. They give you plenty of condiments with takeout. You have to ask for eel sauce though. When they say spicy, they mean it. The ginger is very spicy. I don't like it when the ginger is too spicy. The clear soup is beef broth, not my favorite. I would go back and recommend.

We went here last night to celebrate my dad's 81st birthday. I was VERY disappointed. I ordered the $29.95 scallop hibachi dinner and I added a lobster tail for an ADDITIONAL $21. They piled my plate with rice. I got a total of 3 scallops. 3 FREAKING SCALLOPS! He drowned everything in soy sauce. He cooked the veggies last. Which I'm accustomed to eating my rice and veggies together. EVERYTHING tasted like soy sauce. Can someone tell me how they are charging people $29.95 for 3 scallops and a pile of rice? I ordered the scallop dinner. My husband and dad ordered the shrimp and scallop dinner. He originally only put 6 scalloos on the grill to cook. He had to go back and add 3 more to give to my dad. We all got 3 scallops a piece. How in the hell if I ordered a scallop dinner, (which should come with 6 whole scallops). I only got 3 scallops?? I will NEVER go back to this bootleg Japanese steakhouse. It was 99% African American people in there. They are getting over on us. Highway robbery.

Not my favorite choice for sushi. I tried 2 rolls, an appetizer & shrimp fried rice. I left feeling full but overall disappointed.

The restaurant seems a little dated, but the staff is nice & the food is great. The hibachi show was good. Once we ordered, everything came out in a timely manner. There is no pressure to eat flying food. The cocktails were on point for $7. The hibachi combo had shrimp, chicken, steak, and lobster to choose from. Veggies include zucchini, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and onions. The fried rice only had egg & soy sauce. Overall, everything tasted great.

Husband and I ordered 2 hibachi steak and shrimp and 2 sweet teasThe steak was supposed to be medium/well and it was completely raw.I then told the waitress that it's raw, she then brought it back and 38 minutes later, here comes the steakUnfortunately it was totally burnt.I then advised the manager and she got angry faced and said OK but didn't bring me back another piece of meat.I did enjoy the sweet tea only one cup, because the waitress vanished till check time.that's why I gave them 1 star or it would have been a zero. It's seemed obvious they have no customer service training and this type of service would be a restaurants downfall. All the best

Long time customer, not anymore!Ordered Steak and scallops and I bit into a Scallop that tasted like swamp, I spit it out and tried another, same thing. My wife ordered Shrimp and scallops, Scallops also swampy.I then notified the manager siting up front and she actually said what's wrong with it and I told her but she looked dumbfounded and then I told her don't worry about it, she came back and said she was giving me 10% off and I told her it's not about the money and If I wanted 10% off I would use a coupon.Bottom line is, the food has gone down hill at Fujiyama to a point that I'm not willing to pay good money for sushi or cooked seafood to get me sick.If you are willing to give it a shot, pray first.at least I warned you.All the best!

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant and while me and my family were eating our stomachs started to hurt extremely bad. Myself, my son and my niece got extremely sick from eating here. I’m not quite sure if the meat sat out to long before the gentleman made our food. I’m not quite sure what was going on but me and my family definitely got sick from eating here. At this location it didn’t look so clean either.
