Terrible service. My father and brother went to go pick up a game for me, saw a sign on the door that side they’re stepping out for 10-15 minutes be back shortly so my father waited, after 10 minutes they tried to go in again, door still locked, they waited 30 minutes no one came back or unlocked the door, my father tried opening the door and knocking, a guys head popped up at the counter, shook his head and then put his head down again. Another customer tried coming up to the door so my father explained what’s happening. I also tried calling them several times and they never answered. I then went to another GameStop who was FANTASTIC! Shout out 103rd!! We asked them to call their Atlantic store to see if everything was okay bc no one was answering, and the man on the phone was very rude, said systems were down he wouldn’t close the store for no reason and very quickly got off the phone. THANKFULLY 103rd had the game we were looking to purchase and immediately took care of us but this was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If your systems are down, put that on the door so people aren’t waiting 30+ minutes for you to “come back” when you’re sitting right there and not answering the phones to explain either. -10/10 experience.

Yesterday I purchased a PS5 slim Fortnite Edition. When I got home I realized that the box is open and torn (maybe refurbished or used?).
I called the manager today, but she wasn’t helpful at all. I asked her to replace it with another sealed one, she said I should pay 75$ more because the Fortnite edition one was on a discounted price and if they want to replace it with a regular one I should pay the difference. I suggested bringing another Fortnite Edition one from another store so I can switch them easily, they refused again. At the end I offered keeping the open boxed ps5 but with some sort of gift cards or coupons etc to compensate the defect, again they refused.
I will dispute the charges.

I never step again inside a Gamestop store, unbelievable that because I opened the box I can’t return the product. No damage on the box or anything wrong, the attendant just said, “we don’t accept if you opened the box”
Don’t spend your money there!!!

The guy who is working here Sunday morning 10/27/2024 is extremely rude. Very blunt and monotone, seemed like he did NOT want to be at work today. No one made you come to this job. I need a manager to get back to me asap

Went here today and spent over $200 on ps5 headset and essential gift cards so I could play my brand new ps5 I bought from target and the 2 guys working did not put one of the essential gift cards in the bag and I did not notice it until I got home . When I went to the store there was nothing they can do and did not help me at all . One of the guys said he watched the cameras and seen the employee put it in the bag but the problem is he only put one of them in the bag . The guy that helped make the purchase even admitted to having multiple gift cards down and it could have possibly been mixed up which must of been what happened and they won’t admit they’re wrong . On top of all that they extremely rude giggling and at the situation and showing they had 0 concern at their mistake . I made a complaint with corporate and I hope they find out which employee stole or misplaced my item and fire them for making me go through all of this for a mistake they made !

Update: have not been in the store for almost a year and just curiously asking if a certain game im looking for ever released on the PS4 and without even looking on a computer "no that game only came out on PS5 so you have to buy a PS5 now...3 minutes later i find the game "God of War Ragnarok" brand new on the shelf for PS4 at $29! Probably should have known these young men would be like this but at least know your product! Im not coming back to this store again.Customer service has gone down hill for the last couple of years to where now they do not even answer the phone, i believe it is time to find a better location now. Rude associates igonore you when walking in now, please step your customer service game up.

good service at the counter! guy gave cool advice and had good taste in video games (open worlds and side missions r so good imo…). you can also find a lotta games and funko pops over here, too. ^_^

From the minute I walked in today the guy wasn’t in a good mood, then checking out was talking to my kids and husband about fame systems and he made a rude comment that Xbox is a piece of garbage. They upset me and my kids considering we have Xbox’s and a PlayStation. I get everyone has opinions but it can be given in a bit of a better way.
