GATE Gas Station is a very clean, well-lit, and convenient local stop. It offers a large variety of snacks, cold foods, salads, hot items, donuts, and a small deli. The staff is always exceptional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It provides easy in and out access, umbrella table areas, ice, and propane. Fuel options include non-ethanol gas and a useful rewards points program. It is a great place to stop before or after the bridge, especially for those heading out for fishing or boating.
Gets 3 stars because they have friendly service, workers are nice and helpful but the breakfast sandwiches are some of the worst. The eggs are like plastic and the sausage is not the type of sausage you use on a sandwich. The burnt smell as soon as you walk in in the morning stays in cloths for hours. I go there once in while for the rest room and or to grab a quick meal. Loads of options. Always busy the staff friendly and helpful.
