I was greeted a the front desk by Eric, the General Manager on Phillips Highway. He wore a smile that was as wide as the Atlantic Ocean that made me feel welcome. I told him about the problem I had. We walked outside so I could show him the sticky stuff on the hood of the car. He asked if he could drive it to the back to see if he could remove the sticky stuff. In less than 10 minutes, he returned with another smile on his face and said he had removed it. Eric made my day because I thought he was going to say the car needed a paint job. Instead, he took me outside and showed me his work.
Gerber Collision has always been the place I have gone to for collision repair or to remove minor scratches on the car. They have not let me down yet. In the last two plus years my wife’s car has been in two accidents. Both time Gerber has taken care of the repairs. The staff especially Eric and Gabby. Gabby is always pleasant and Eric has gone above and beyond any auto shop I’ve ever dealt with. The paint and body work matched with no issues. We did have issues with the head light which bmw issue. With the headlight issue one head light kept going out and it was new. Eric went to bat for us in dealing with the stealership to make sure they corrected it properly which I believe it is fixed now. My wife asked Eric why he wanted to put up with all the head aches we were getting from the dealership. Eric answered, “It’s my job and it’s the right thing to do.” As long as I live in Florida I will always take my car to Gerber/Eric.

To be honest not sure if I would have gone to them as I thought to go to my dealership but I’m glad my insurance company referred them and that I did go to them. Tim was on point and detailed with his assessment of the work and gave me a date to be ready and was a man of his word. The work itself looks great and the girls at the front desk were always helpful and kind. I will definitely be back if I ever need work again !!

Tim was excellent. He kept me informed thru the whole process. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He did a wonderful job on fixing my car and getting it back in the road . The staff there is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Gerber collision to everyone.

Great experience with the entire staff and the repairs were excellent. They found more damage that originally quoted and worked it out with State Farm. Tim coordinated everything and was excellent!

Exceptionally good service. They were able to fix my car before the estimate date, because they were aware that I have to rent a car out of pocket. Very thoughtful and caring staff, Downey was always in touch and very helpful.

Leaving another review for this place. Kelley was patient as I am returning months after for a trim part that was received after my last repair. Granted I was months late in getting back. However it was worth coming all the way down to Jacksonville because I knew I and my car would be taken care of with professionalism and that great thing called good old fashioned pleasant people!! No doubt other locations are fine and they offered to ship the trim piece to Georgia but any trip to Florida is good!!

They were amazing, customer service to labor department.They did excellent job on my car. I would recommend anyone who needs body repairs. I shopped around before I went there, at least $ 3000 less expensive than their competitors.

Let me tell you about my experience with Gerber Collision & Glass (Phillips Highway Location). About three months ago, I was traveling home when a deer ran out in front of my 2016 Mercedes Benz S550. The front-end damage didn't seem to be that bad; however, the cost for repair was about $12K. The cost for parts for that car is ridiculous. Bryant and Eric Mellies were amazing. Bryant did a great job keeping me updated and ordering and reordering the parts. Once they received the headlight, it didn't work properly, so they took the car to Mercedes Benz for calibration. Well, I picked up my car and noticed that the AC wasn't working. I know that prior to the accident, the AC was working great. The AC must have been damaged by the accident. Eric Mellies worked with my insurance company (USAA), and they sent my car to the shop to determine what the problem was and if it was caused by the accident. The shop found that the AC holes were damaged by the accident, and USAA covered it. Thank you very much, Eric, for going the extra mile. If I'm ever in an accident in the future, I know where I'm taking my car - Gerber Collision and Glass on Phillips Highway.
