I have been coming to Tuwanna for the past few years since I moved to Jacksonville and I am so grateful to have found her. She does an excellent job with my curls and always takes such good care of me. I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my hair!

Just started having Zoey cut my hair in November and couldn't be happier with my results. Have seen her twice since. My husband usually does not comment about my hair but yesterday he noticed and said it looked great. Zoey listens to what I have to say and even suggest's different products/ care routines for my blond /gray hair. It's taken me awhile to find the right gal to take care of my hair,so I'm glad I've found Zoey!

Zoe is the best! I had an amazing experience with Zoe! The attention to detail, skill, and professionalism were top-notch. My highlights came out beautifully blended and the cut was flawless—both stylish and easy to maintain. On top of that, Zoe was so friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. I’ve received so many compliments on my hair, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Zoey cut my hair a few days ago. She did a good job. While I was there she offered to tint my eyebrows. Unfortunately, she forgot to set a timer and my eyebrows turned out extremely dark. I have fair skin and I ended up looking like a clown.
I went home feeling distraught. My sister suggested I go back and have her fix it. When I contacted Zoey for help she made a couple of suggestions but offered no further assistance.
I'm 64 years old and I didn't feel confident trying anything on my own. I just assumed she would take responsibility and at least attempt a fix. I was completely wrong.
My sister even called the shop and spoke with Christine to see if we could get some help, but to no avail. After several more attempts Zoey finally reached out to me.
I showed up for the appointment only to have Christine come over and insist I was making a big deal out of nothing. I felt harassed.
Zoey finally put me in a chair and worked on my eyebrows for an hour. She was successful at making them lighter.
What I don't understand is why they both had to belittle me when I was just asking for help with a mistake Zoey Made. I get it, everyone makes mistakes. But their total lack of compassion and empathy was uncalled for.
In the end, I paid $90 to be treated horrifically.

DON’T COME HERE. They do not take responsibility for the stylists. My hair was cut unevenly and rushed. I asked the woman twice if she would like to make sure it was not finished and she haughty told me it was. The staff is unfriendly from reception to hairstylists. Was told one price got charged a higher price. Just not a great experience. I called to complain about my haircut was rudely told to just come back and we will fix it, I told her no way I was too traumatized by the cut and left it at that. The woman who cut my hair did take my phone number and there was no return phone call to salvage this situation by this place.
I have reached out several times and I have had no response. If you plan on doing nothing you should not leave a response to this post.

What a fantastic group! I've been going to Shannon for more than 25 years, and she's amazing! And recently, I had a bad home dye-job experience and a big social event coming up the next day. Booked a Devacut with Tuwanna:
I had a wonderful experience with Tuwanna! I haven't had a devacut in over two years and have been going through some hair loss during that time as well. She was patient, thorough, personable, and definitely exemplifies as an expert in her field. My 3b curls were brought back to life, and I'm so relieved I found my main hair stylist in Jax after looking these past three years. Highly highly recommend.

I've had an amazing experience with Tuwanna, my curly specialist hairstylist! From the moment I contacted her, she was incredibly helpful and professional. She explained her services in detail and guided me through the online booking process, making it simple and convenient.
The quality of the service was outstanding. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it to, with perfect curls that were well-defined and beautifully styled. I've now been back four times, and each visit has been consistently excellent.

After reading reviews about this hair salon and especially about Zoey, I decided to book an appointment with her. And I am so glad I did!! She is amazing!! She is very knowledgeable about everything hair and had great tips for me. Absolutely love my new blonde color. I will definitely be back!

Zoey is fantastic! She gives you a cut, a shave, and even cleans up your eyebrows if you want so you can walk in a mess and walk out ready for date night!
