I booked at this location due to it being close to the office I’m supporting. I do not smoke and I do not like the smell of it so this is why I book at Hilton’s, bc of their no smoking policy. Last night I was smacked in the face by the smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. I called down to the front desk and was asked a series of questions “Today is Tuesday, you didn’t smell it when you check in on Monday? Do you think it could’ve been from the guest before you?” To all of which I explained that I only started smelling it in that moment and it feels like it’s coming from upstairs. She hung up and call me back stating that she tried calling the room above me but got no answer and she cannot go into the room to investigate bc they have a Do No Disturb sign hanging but that I should speak with Steve first thing in the morning. When I spoke with Steve (the front desk manager) he asked me all of the same questions and even added that this could be coming from outside since I’m on the second floor and over the front door. I explained to him again that the smell came from the bathroom and it comes and goes I guess as they smoke. He got an attitude with me asking me what do I want him to do. I told him I would contact Hilton Honors since he can’t do anything and they can help me come to a resolution. When I left this morning I made sure my Do Not Disturb sign was hanging bc I’ve had terrible experiences in the past with my things coming up missing and when I came back from work my room had been entered and I guess sprayed with air freshener which was completely without my knowledge and contradicted what was told to me last night when they said they couldn’t investigate the persons room above me bc of this Do Not Disturb sign.If you’re looking for a smoke free hotel and privacy when you put up a Do Not Disturb sign, this is NOT the hotel for you!

I've enjoyed my single night stay at this property but I recommend they update the televisions and remotes that come with the rooms. My remote had scotch tape holding the batteries in place and the remote didn't properly work. Not sure why this would be in a guest room. The front desk was nice enough to replace it but it was clear that the televisions are dated at this property. This really didn't impact my stay and that's why I still gave a 5 star review. I just recommend they make adjustments to improve guest comfort going forward.

Michelle anticipated my needs in accommodating for my son's food allergy. She is kind, smart, and spoke with good humor. Seriously, she could be working at the Ritz. Great customer service.

Awesome hotel and staff! They make us feel right at home every visit. Great location with so many restaurants and shopping around the beautiful lake. Steve does a great job managing the front desk and office. He is always so helpful. Great job team!

Great location. Clean rooms. Spacious rooms. Pet friendly. That’s where the good ends. There are plenty of other lodging options on the same street, choose one of them. The front desk and manager were extremely disrespectful and condescending upon check in. The toiletries were not up to the brand standards. Breakfast was worse that the lowest most awful fast food place out there with an abundance of starches, very little protein, processed eggs, and fruit consisting of apples and bananas. Not worth the price. Not up to the brand standards.Rooms: Spacious, very clean. Bring your own toiletries. There’s are lacking in quality and quantity.Nearby activities: Great access to the interstate and perfect for being close to Baptist South.Walkability: Plenty of food options and gas stations right outside of the hotel parking lot.Food & drinks: Fast food literally next door.restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is ideally located for those wanting to stay in the Mandarin area on the I-95 corridor. The hotel is well maintained and clean. There a lot of restaurant choices and several are in walking distance.

My husband and I have stayed here many times and we are Gold Hilton Honors Members. We always choose this hotel with it's easy access to food and being pet friendly but after this stay we will NEVER stay here again. Friday morning September 15, my husband said he was going downstairs to getting some food, I had gotten up still in my PJs and went to the bathroom then all I hear is the click of the door opening. Me thinking that it was my husband coming up into the room I open the door to find a big burly man who wasn't my husband holding up his name badge and pointing at the lock thing and saying something that I couldn't understand. I stated we areall good and close the door. I got dress really quickly and went down stairs to the lobby. I explained to the lady what had happened and she said that a man from 207 called down here and said that the door wasn't opening. I told her that my husband isn't even the room so how can he call down if he's not in the room. So after that I started looking for my husband and come to find out he was stuck in the elevator for 45 mins. He had called down once from the elevator telling them he was stuck. Lady in the lobby asked what room he was in. He said he was in 207 but that he was stuck in the elevator. She said we will get on that (hence the big burly man at the door)20-25 mins go by he calls again says Ma'am I have talked to you before but I am still stuck in the elevator then she goes and gets the manager and tells him what is wrong. Finally my husband, notices that the elevator has stopped and even with the fourth floor so his hands become little suction cups and pulls back the door and gets outs. He heads downstairs and met up with the manager. My husband explains what had happen and all he gets is an apology and that's it. All I got was apology and that's it. We get to our receipt at check out had to pay the full amount. At least they could have done something about. I don't mind paying the full amount but give us 20,000 points for our traumatic situations. My husband getting stuck in the elevator and big burly man opening my door without any knocks or letting me know he was there.

Hotel was reliable from the reservation, front desk and the clean room. The breakfast room was open 6 am until 10 am and featured two types of self-prepare waffle irons, hot oatmeal with fixings, cooked eggs and sausage rounds, yogurts, breakfast breads bagels and muffins, yogurts, cereals, fresh fruit, four juices, milk, and very good hot coffee and tea. (Other miscellaneous food items too.) Breakfast bags for "to-go guests" available at the front desk by 6 am. Safe area and lakefront is developers grade. Would go back if the rate remained same as we paid. Easy off i95.
