They did not have the car I originally booked online and swapped me for an SUV. They never said there would be any price change and my paperwork that shows the vehicle I received still showed my original rate. After I completed my trip and dropped off my car, I received an email with a receipt for more than double the rate I had a booked and my pick up paperwork showed. They instantly charged my card but now I have to wait several days for them to investigate how this happened and IF I’ll get the difference refunded. I never would’ve noticed if I had not compared my bill to my original paperwork. Seems VERY questionable to not disclose a rate change until after a trip…

I had an incredible time at Hertz! Their staff was very helpful and respond in a timely matter! The manager was professional and gave great advice! One of their staff members, Danny, offered great service, checking me in and out with their top of the line Polestar 2, 2023! After everything was said and done, they gave me a ride to the Mercedes Dealership to pick up my car! I highly recommend visiting this location! Alright, thank you for your time!

Horrible service, waited over an hour, car offered was gross and filthy, just unacceptable. I thought this was Hertz? Why did I have to over upgrade from Premium to Special or whatever just to get a clean serviceable vehicle? Never, ever again!

This place is really a joke.. Hertz needs to consider listing their policies on line prior to people booking rentals, coming all the way there only to let them know then that they cant rent a vehicle..

Last month we rented a car from Hertz . I am usually not the type to complain about service, however this was absolutely absurd and unsafe.We picked the car up and the check engine light was on. Hertz said the car was fine and to drive it, they had checked everything and this was the only car they had. No big deal.We are driving from FL to Ohio. We stop for gas in the middle of nowhere South Carolina around 7pm. The car won't turn back on. We call Hertz and they send a tow truck to jump it. We asked for a new car cause clearly there was a problem since we just turned it off and they said they don't bring cars to you. We wait over an hour (no big) and the guy is able to get it jumped. All the lights are flashing in the car. It's a problem with the alternator. I tell Hertz that I feel unsafe driving this car and the next city is two hours away. They said we had to drive it and it couldn't be swapped out at any Hertz after hours. There were zero Hertz that we could reach before they closed. I emphasized that I did not feel safe driving this car and asked if it was Hertz policy for me to drive this unsafe car... They said yes.We drove the car to the next city, two hours away, on a dark highway, with every light on the car flashing. We lost our hotel reservation on North Carolina and had to pay for a new last minute hotel in South Carolina. The car died as we were pulling into the hotel. ?The next morning the car has to be jumped again and this tow truck verified that it's the alternator. We drive another 30 minutes out of the way to swap the car. When we get to Hertz they give us a hard time about not refilling the gas ? but they swap the car.I tried to speak to customer service about the situation but you cannot do so until after you finish your rental. That was a month ago. Hertz will not call me back, they will not speak to me on the phone, so I've been emailing with random customer service reps. The solution from Hertz is $100 rental voucher to use in the future.This hiccup put us a day behind in getting to Ohio to see my sick grandma. I got to spend only a few hours with her instead of two days. We are also very lucky that the car didn't break down while we were driving it on the highway. The blatant safety disregard from Hertz is what is most shocking and terrifying. You can't control cars having problems but you should have protocols in place when your cars become unsafe and not force your customers to drive them against their will.

Derrick at this location is nasty and rude. I set up the reservation right after a terrible car accident and he failed to help in any way. He hung up on me twice actually after realizing they made mistakes. The only reason I’m leaving a review is to warn people of this service and further lower the rating as to deter other from this unsavory rental service. And Derrick is hope you see this. So unprofessional and a diminishment to good business efforts. Fire him hertz.

These people are a bit stuck up. I said good morning and the lady just looked at me. It wouldn’t kill ya to say hi. Prices are a bit high but what can you do. We rented a full size car two days for 140 plus 230 for deposit.

If assigned vehicle isn't large enough they work with you to accommodate. I went back 3 times and finally accepted it. Thanks for being so helpful. Only thing was the wait before being helped and not satisfied right away.

Car was nasty.....this happen today..I will return on the morning .Crack glass !! nasty car..Look closer. Nasty seat!!!I should never have to get in the car dirty and you rent it from them come on now !!I am going to report this I should get all my money back
