I had the same person prepare my taxes this year. I got a call asking me if I wanted to have the same person do my taxes and did I want to schedule my appointment. I appreciated the reminder as my schedule is very busy. I had to play quite a bit of phone tag in order to confirm my appointment then they wanted to change the day and time. I realize it's a busy time of year and I try to remember that, but it seemed there were more snafus this year. I was irritable and stressed, but Bonnie was very patient with me, especially regarding tech issues. I hate tax time, but they always make it easier.

Mrs. Bonnie .Lied three times about my return she deliberately misspelled my name on my refund which I have proof of I wouldn't have thought such a thing however my husband's name was spelled correctly right underneath mine so it was most definitely spiteful for wte reason I will be contacting corporate office and will not be returning to any location bonnie is located

Prices are ridiculous and they do not update their clients whatsoever. Their employees “lose” forms and fail to submit them into their database. If you have to file with a 1099-MISC form do not file your taxes with H&R Block. We filed for the first time using H&R Block due to positive reviews online and positive experiences from family who have filed taxes with H&R Block. Yet we’ve had nothing but trouble filing with H&R Block. For starters H&R Block charged us a whopping $464 just to file my husband and I’s taxes. That’s $375 in tax preparation, $50 in other fees, and $39 in federal refund transfer. “Bonnie”, the H&R Block employee who filed our taxes at the University Blvd location, claimed that our taxes were a “complicated tax” and that that’s why she charged us $375 for tax preparation. According to Ms. Bonnie, H&R Block considers anyone submitting a 1099-MISC form automatically a “complicated tax filing”. I only made $584.21 in royalties on my 1099-MISC form. The H&R Block employee asked invasive questions she didn’t need to know such as, “What company owns XXVI Holding Inc.” which is the company listed on my 1099-MISC form. She does not need to know what company is working under XXVI Holding Inc. It was irrelevant and unnecessary. Beyond this unnecessary invasion of privacy she told us she considered us a complicated tax filing just because of this additional paper I was submitting. The only other forms we submitted when filing were my W-2 from working at an exotic animal hospital as well as my husband’s W-2 from working as a lawn technician. It took her less than fifteen minutes to file these three forms with hardly any income between the two of us. We left and months went by with no word. I checked my portal and saw it claimed we were missing a document. No one ever called, emailed, or texted us about this even after months had gone by. So I called them and asked what had happened. They said we needed to submit our 1095-A form for the two months that we had marketplace health insurance that year. So we came in and turned that form in to Ms. Bonnie whom we filed our taxes with. More months go by and still no word and no tax return. So we call them again and they tell us they never received our 1095-A form. We informed them we turned the form in in-person to Ms. Bonnie whom we filed with. They said it was never entered into their system. So now we have to resubmit the same form yet again and hope they do their job and actually submit it into their system this time. Overall H&R Block is extremely unprofessional and does not do their due diligence. They fail to adequately inform and update their clients and charge ludicrous fees for no valid reason. Not to mention the invasion of privacy by their employee(s) as well as their employee(s) inability to submit the forms they had us hand deliver in person into their database causing us to wait an excessive amount of time to receive a tax return. At the date and time of this report we still have yet to receive our tax return.

I dropped my taxes off with Mrs. Donna Klein and she went above and beyond my expectations! I had to call multiple times to have her fix something, not of her own fault, and she did it and was nice about it every time! Even responding to my emails at 11pm! That's a dedicated worker.
