Amazing stay! The front desk associate checking me in was really personable and professional - I think her name was India. The Tavern has delicious food, and our server was so attentive. We had breakfast in the main restaurant and Ana went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. It was a really wonderful experience all together. Great staff!! Last but not least, the views of the city are incredible ?

Great location. The bed and pillows are amazing. Showers are outdated and no microwave in rooms. Pool on the rooftop was OK, NO bar :(Food & drinks: Shor & tavern was decent. I had the Cajun salmon but I probably wouldn’t get that again if I went back

Stayed here for a business conference. Room was nice but still a typical hotel layout with typical amenities. View of the St John's river was very beautiful. Not your typical view from a hotel window. Only there two nights, so I did not experience any room or maid services.Walkability: The hotel is right on the Jacksonville Riverwalk and walking along the river was very beautiful and relaxing.

Room is very old.$29 parking. ($39 valet parking). No microwave or fridge in our room. Some rooms have it. It costs $75 if you want one microwave to be brought to your room. Half stuff we met were very friendly and the other half were not that friendly. It doesn’t feel like a four star hotel. It’s seems like they spend all the money on the lobby and don’t have money left to renovate the rooms.Do not recommend if you are paying it yourself for vacation. Maybe ok for business trip with its good location.

Strange place, great location, excellent service... The rooms were a bit dated for the level of hotel. Nothing wrong with them just not up to Hyatt standards.Rooms: Outdated, not what you'd expect from Hyatt.Nearby activities: Strange, Jacksonville seemed "dead".Safety: Felt like a very safe area.Walkability: You can walk most anywhere from the hotelFood & drinks: Many restaurants were closed, one was open but stayed it would be at least an hour wait for food.

The entire room smelled like dogs and cats. It seemed like the smell was coming from the vents and carpet. I could barely stand it and it made my allergies worse. I wish there was an option to have a room away from guests with dogs.Rooms: Our room looked nice but smelled terrible.Nearby activities: Close to activities and not too far from the beach.Safety: Felt very safeFood & drinks: Great variety of restaurants on site and within driving distance.

What an absolute disappointment this place was. Staff on arrival very nice. Wet carpet on the 11th floor. Very musty smelling. Room wastotally outdated. Dark and dark. Was told we would have river front views we had nothing but a concrete cement view.

Reason for stay: One night stay to visit friends in Jacksonville. The price for a room is WILDLY exorbitant, especially for the condition of the room. The beds are awful, the shower was difficult to work and dirty (especially the curtain), the mini fridge droned on all night (and even seemed to rattle). Parking is NOT included and is a separate cost on top of all of the already expensive stay. The positive is that there are amenities that we enjoyed, like the bar and market. Plus the location is conducive for walking to other restaurants and bars.Unless you’re there for a conference, I wouldn’t recommend. Stay at a different location and maybe ride share to downtown.2/5. Wouldn’t recommend.

Joy at the Front Desk and Rose at Shor were both amazing! Really made our stay extra special with their kindness! We had a view of the riverfront and it was awesome.Walkability: Would recommend walking along the river to visit the Riverside Art Market on Saturday morning. It was a great addition to our weekend!
