My experience wasn’t great this time. I had an appointment for oil change, tire rotation, Radio goi g in and out and dash lights going off and on!I brought the car in at 9:00am and waited over an hour for a ride back to the beach. I was told that I would receive a phone call at 4:00 to let me know what they found. I never received that phone call, so I called a couple of times. I needed to find out if it was finished so that I could get a shuttle back to pick up my Jeep.I didn’t receive that call until it was to late to make arrangements with the shuttle service. So I found someone to bring me out and pick up my Jeep.I was told they didnt have time to check out the radio and dash lights. It seems to me that would have been the most important thing to address!!My radio still goes in and out and periodically the dash lights go out!!??♀️

We are very pleased and satisfied with your dealership and especially with Dennis our salesman.. he made the whole experience excellent . We received a call from him right away.We told him what we were wanting and within a few minutes he found the challenger we always wanted.He is honest and very professional.Most people don't trust car salesman, but with Dennis we felt at ease instantly. He got us in the 2023 challenger without any red tape.Thank you so much Dennis. We will be coming back to you . I'll be needing a truck in the near future.. Hopefully you will still be there. Thank you Dodge and Dennis for making our dreams come true.

This is my fourth purchase with this dealership and I have always had a pleasant experience! This time however was a little upbeat! I had the pleasure of dealing with Aliyah Withrock and she wasn’t your normal sales person and get your info and bounce! She sat down with you and got to know you while waiting on numbers! She was very personable to the point I bought two trucks in a few days! I would recommend this dealership to anyone but ask for Aliyah for your sales women! I also had the pleasure of speaking with Tony, Chris, and Dirk all whom were very professional and polite! Trust me I thought my second deal wasn’t going to go through but Chris and Aliyah fought hard to make ir happen! Great customer service!

CONSIDER YOUR OPTIONS FIRST!Bought a special order 2023 Jeep Gladiator $62,000 dollars. 9 months into ownership it started to misfire during high RPM acceleration at about 11,000 miles. Dealer service took the vehicle. Tested it and kept it for 2 full days before advising they would need to tear down the engine. Then called back the very next day stating a solar battery charger has voided the warranty and they WILL NOT FIX IT OR EVEN LOOK AT IT FURTHER. I only took it in due to the low miles and warranty. If only negative stars were an option. Next stop BBB and Fiat Chrysler of America. Buying experience from this dealer was horrible (see prior review) Service at this dealer is even worse. FIAT Chrysler Jeep will never see another dime of my hard earned dollars.9/20 update: Took the vehicle to a non-dealer shop for further evaluation. Ruled out Sparkplug, ignition coil, and fuel injector. I would note that the 3rd party shop validated the Jax CJD technician's evaluation that it was likely mechanical and would need to open engine and inspect lifters, rockers, and cam. After speaking with Donna and Alex at Jax CJD, and providing evaluation from 3rd party auto shop, I will need to remove the Genesis dual battery upgrade and solar panel before they will take it back in for repair. As, when they submit the warranty claim it must be accompanied by pictures of the engine bay. There is much concern that the existence of the upgrades "may" cause the warranty claim to be rejected. Not happy about removing the upgrades, but at least the dealer is willing to work with me to resolve the issues. Based on my discussion with Donna and Alex I will give them back a star in good faith and in anticipation that this will all work out in the end. More to come.

Had a great experience getting my car serviced. They got me into a brand new Enterprise car to rent for they 2 days they had my car and it was fixed up in no time! The staff was super kind and followed up with me on the progress of my vehicle which gave me some great peace of mind.

One star for these three reasons: Time, Cost, and Communication.Issue: Battery in my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee died. I was told by AAA that my Jeep has two batteries, one for startup and one for internal systems like the radio. AAA said that they cannot provide battery replacements because of the two battery system and that I would need to take it to the dealer. To the dealer I went. JCJDR replaced the batteries.Time: Dropped off the car Monday at 9:30am, was not notified that my car was ready until 11:10am on Wednesday. Two full days for a battery change does not make sense one bit. Even with battery testing to determine what we already know it does not make sense.Cost: I don't have a problem with the cost of the batteries, it is what it is. I could have bought them cheaper from an auto store but that's beside the point. I will even ignore the fees. $320 for labor....to do a battery replacement. I can't reason in my head why a battery replacement would cost $320 in labor. This wasn't an internal engine part that required any thing to be taken apart. The batteries are located under the passenger seat and accessible by just moving the seat forward. I'm pretty sure the hood doesn't even need to be opened. So, I just don't know where the labor cost comes in.Communication: When I set up the appointment I provided all of my contact into and vehicle info. But it seems it wasn't used. I bought this vehicle from my family about 2 years ago, and they originally bought it from this dealership. Each time they contacted for updates they contacted my family and not me (probably using the VIN). I called the service number three times, all three times going to voicemail, and left my name, number and vehicle info. Finally someone did call me back to get an approval for the service at 2:45 PM on Tuesday, and said they would update the contact info. But when the vehicle was done, still contacted my family. Luckily it was my family, not really sure what I would have done if I bought this car from someone else.It's possible the time issue could have been resolved by fixing the communication issue. The cost issue though, still does not make sense. I can say I would have been less dissatisfied with the cost if the Time and Communication, essentially the service was better.

So after spending 11 days being jerked around I finally got to pick up my Dodge Ram and paid over $1200 for a new alternator and an Oil change and not to my surprise when arrived the incompetent Service Manager Jacob Perez who lied to me about calling me with updates and statuses didn't even know where my truck was and when he finally found it, they gave it to me with the gas light on. I left a lengthy google review calling out this dealerships terrible service department but upon meeting Jacob Perez it's clear why his team is struggling so bad. He has zero leadership ability, doesn't know how to interact with customers and his only job is to get his glorified cashiers that they call "Service Advisors" to upcharge you on a bunch of stuff you don't need done. I don't believe veterans should receive any special treatment but I will say that as a retired veteran, I know incompetence when I see it. And if you are a veteran take your money elsewhere this place isn't veteran friendly and is a shell of what it used to be 10-12 years ago. I only have myself to blame for this experience I should have just read the reviews before taking my truck in for service being that 99% of the service department reviews evolve around terrible service and management of Jacob Perez and I can only imagine how terrible and incompetent his supervisor is. I had two good vehicle purchases from this place over the years but the service department is hands down the worst experience I've ever had in my 44 years. Please spend your money elsewhere and save yourself the headache of dealing with these clowns over at CJD Jax Southside location.

Go see Wali! He is a no pressure salesperson who listens and works to get you the deal you’re looking for. He is kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the products and car buying experience. 10/10 highly recommend him. He has worked with me on a few deals. The latest was on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

Our 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited sport was unfortunately totaled so we needed a vehicle. We bought the 2020 at JCDR new and had a great experience with London so we headed back. Tone met us and showed us the available Wranglers. We lucked into a 2024 unlimited sport and it was the only one on the lot.All the rest were Rubicons etc. Tone did a really nice job of just being patient and not pressuring us. We love the new Jeep!

My husband and I are repeat customers to this establishment because of our salesman Jacob Hess! He was such a rock star when it came to the negotiations when I traded my Escape in for a beautiful 2023 Jeep Renegade! I have been to several dealerships and traded in so many vehicles over the years but Jacob was the only salesman that didn't make us feel like just another dollar sign. He genuinely cares about providing an excellent car buying experience, as we all know car shopping can be such a pain sometimes. He knew exactly what I was looking for and far exceeded my expectations. I am comfortable saying he treated us like family! If your looking for a new car and a salesman that will treat you right then I highly recommend giving him your business! Jacob introduced my husband and I to Kip(I think that is the gentleman's name) who did all of the financial paperwork. Kip was very helpful and such a pleasure to work with. I couldn't have had a better car buying experience if I had taken my business elsewhere.I only have one negative comment to add that doesn't involve Jacob. When my husband and I visited this establishment for his truck deal we had the displeasure of working with Tony. While we were waiting for figures and such for my car, Tony walked past my husband and I sitting at one of the tables and gave us what I can only describe as "the side eye". I do believe he recognized us from our previous visit as my husband had some rather less than desirable things to say about our encounter with Tony. He has a very off-putting demeanor about him. I find it grossly unprofessional to "side eye" and roll your eyes over a previous customer voicing their concerns about the way they were treated. I made it very clear to Jacob that I did not want Tony involved in any way with my deal and he was very understanding as to why. I would steer clear of Tony if I were a new customer going into this establishment for a new car.Jacob is 5 star all the way and is the example of how car salesmen should handle their clientele!

Mr. Birstok was very helpful when we came in looking for the type of service we wanted done to the car. Everything work out exceptional and the installation service done on our car was completed to the upmost satisfaction. Whenever I called throughout the process of getting the parts and install he was available or he would return my call. Thank you so much very everything! Very satisfied customer.
