If I could select zero stars I would, I have been going to this vet for over 8 years and ever since they were bought out by this corporate company they have become trash! It is no longer a community pet clinic. They do not care about your pets, all they care about is the money it is a disgrace. Called today because my dog has not been breathing right and I could tell he is struggling. He was recently diagnosed with CHF. I told them I could drop him off and if they could see him when they had a chance and they just outright said no. He has been going to this vet since I rescued him. What is the point in having a vet if you won't even take a look at my pup who is in distress. BEWARE AND DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!

Initially I was going to give a one star because of Dr. WILSON and the recent experience with her, but I can't do that to Jax community pet clinic, because the rest of the staff is amazing. Dr. Trotter, Dr.G and Dr. Whiting and others are great. So I give the vets office as a whole a 5 star.....*****However, I'd give Dr. WILSON negative stars if I could, below I explain why......**Recently my almost 3 year old chocolate lab and I had a horrible experience. So, before I went on vacation with my fiance and pups, our chocolate lab Remington had to go in for update on annual vaccines (January 2024). This time he was seen by Dr. WILSON, I'm assuming she's fairly new to the team. So anyway, Remington got his annual shots then Dr. WILSON came to talk with me, she proceeded to tell me that Remington has a heart murmur, then she said "it worries me because he was just here in May of 2023 and a heart murmur wasn't noted in chart, so it's something new" so then I got really concerned. I asked if the heart could sound different because of stress and I was told "no, it's congenital" which then really concerned me. So we then discussed what the next steps were, I was told they could do an xray for close to $300 but if that didn't show anything the next step would be an EKG which was estimated to cost about $480 with sedation. So I said can we just start with EKG because I'd rather start with what's gonna show us more. So after that news the vet tech came into room, so I asked if it was okay that Remington still travel and if his activity needed to be limited, I was told No.So we get back from vacation and I get the EKG scheduled, dropped Remington off at vet at 815am on February 7th, 2024, so I called at noon to see if he was ready, I was told to pick up him up at 2pm. So 2 pm comes around I go in to get him and Dr. Trotter told me that herself and Dr. G listened to Remingtons heart and couldn't hear a murmur, she said I don't know if maybe he was stressed and that's what Dr. WILSON heard, but his heart sounds great. I was furious at this point, but I kept my cool. Then I said are you serious, I said I specifically asked if stress could cause heart to sound different and I was told "no its congenital". Then I said so I paid $485 for a misdiagnosis? I am grateful that there is nothing wrong with Remingtons heart, but it's insane because I can only assume Dr. WILSON doesn't know the difference between the stress sound of a heart and a heart murmur, especially considering most pets stress when at the vet, my point is, if she examines pets she should know the difference between stress and a murmur....So Dr. WILSON will never touch my pets again, I am so disappointed ?

People at the front desk are very RUDE!! I will be taking my business elsewhere no questions asked!!!! They lack compassion and respect for others! I asked to speak to the owner and they did not want to give me the information. However we as customers must be an advocate for ourself when unfair situations arise and I will not let this slide until I speak with the owner!!!

I love the staff at Jax Community Pet Clinic. They are efficient, thorough, and give the best care and attention to Luger. Luger has gotten grumpy as he's aged, and the staff just give him a little extra love and care and it is appreciated.

They seem to genuinely care about your pet's welfare, and listen to the owner's concerns. I am always satisfied with the care and compassion that they show my two cats.

Great place unlike first coast... this vet actually had an opening the next day. So my cats were seen and treated. Highly recommend this location.

Too expensive. First Coast charged me HALF of what JACKSONVILLE COMMUNITY PET CLINIC would’ve charged for my pup’s 3rd round of vaccinations . I also paid to have my Pup’s claws trimmed down in which they did, but DID NOT file them to smooth the sharp edges. Once bringing it to the assistant’s attention. She replied asking if I had a file at home…. and if so…. all I had to do was gently file them down once I returned to my home….. ARE THEY SERIOUS !! I also asked for a prescription to help my pup with what they told me was motion sickness …. They suggested an over the counter which DID NOT WORK.. I then had them to prescribe me a script ONLY TO BE CHARGED $25 for 4 pills ……. AGAIN WHICH DID NOT WORK.. I only wished I’d went to First Coast initially when I was recommended. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

Dr Trotter makes this place 5 stars! She's knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic, thorough and uses common sense. I drive in from Sanderson and I'll follow her wherever she goes!
