Dirty and ran down store. Had to wait in a long line for a refund. There was only one register open for pick up orders and refunds. They had several for purchases. There weren't any customers in the line for purchases. They needed to have more help for refunds. Poor use of employees

I'm extremely disappointed with JCPenney's jewelry repair vendor who services The Avenues Mall Jacksonville Florida (2430) store. First, I have been a loyal customer of JCP franchise for 40+ years.On October 14, 2023 I purchased a bracelet from JCP fine jewelry with a 2-year care plan. The clasp broke. On November 16, 2023 the bracelet was sent for repair with the Associates comment "replace with lobster clasp" (her recommendation not mine). The bracelet was returned wothout repair indicating I would have to pay an additional $40 to change to a lobster clasp. Well, NO! Why would I do that? So, I told the jewelry Supervisor, to return it and to have them place a standard sturdy clasp. Expected completion date 12/28/23. To date, (01/08/24), no one had called me about the bracelet. Today, I followed up and found the bracelet was returned a 2nd time without being repaired. Are you kidding me?!!! I spoke to the jewlery Supervisor and expressed this is unacceptable!!! The jewelry repair vendor should have called me if they were having trouble comprehending what needed to be repaired. I could have taken the braclet to a reputable local jewelry repair store and had it repaired either same day or within a week at the most. In my opinion, I do not think it's worth purchasing the JCP care plan if this is the type of poor service the jewelry repair company provides. Disappointed!

They were not helpful at all they said they couldn’t return it because the tags were off but we have all the tags to put back on the thing we brought.

I've got to share my thoughts on JCPenney – their selection is seriously fantastic. I love how they have something for everyone, and the discounts? Absolutely amazing. It's my top spot for scoring quality stuff without breaking the bank.

I was shopping for jewelry and asked the lady at the counter for assistance who's name was Jasmine according the the other lady working the counter. When I asked for help she ignored me for a bit, so I continued asking, ma'am, may I please see this ring? She kept ignoring me and finally got her to Acknowledge me, she refused to help and called for someone else to give me assistance after giving me a dirty look and rolling her eyes.This type of customer service runs customers off! I suppose she doesn't care since she isn't invested in this company. I don't think she is a good representative of JC penneys at all.

I recently visited this store to make a return that I had purchased online at the JCP website. It's a pretty typical JCP, but the associates here that I interacted with were super nice. From making a return without a receipt to browsing the store. I ended up leaving without making a purchase, but I can use the credit on their website. The only complaint I have about this store is their hours; they do not open early enough. 10AM on a Saturday during the busiest season of the year is too late.

Although I usually like the sales and selection here, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service. I had tried to return a pair of boots I had bought on September 1. I went to return them November 10. I had never worn them (they were not the right style for what I had in mind), I had the receipt, they were in the box, and still connected together. The cashier barely acknowledged my presence and pointed to the screen which stated greater than 60 days. It was only 9 days over and the return policy is not on the receipt. I asked if I could just get store credit and she ‘shooed’ me away with her fingers like I was bothering her. Please be aware if you are holiday shopping that you may not want to buy gifts from here in case someone needs to return them. I don’t recommend this place anymore.

Tom was my salesman in curtains and he was excellent it usually a night mare when he's off. He is a gem to the company and me and my friends and family will shop only when he's working thanks Tom

Went on web site found what I needed, site stated multiple items in store. Arrive to store ready to purchase, not one single item in store sleeves. Got to purchase on line only. No Thanks.
