I respect what the owner said in his response. I will agree there's a possibility your technician is telling the truth. Here's what I propose. Would your technician be willing to have a sit down with the service advisor from my dealership so we can get to the bottom of this? After all, both of you can't be telling the truth? Someone's not being honest, and I would very much like to know who! I'm very well aware of the general reputation of mechanics and dealerships as being dishonest, trying to suggest unnecessary repairs, among other things. If you're open to having a conversation, I'll challenge my dealership to do the same, and see where we go from there.

Been going here for 5 years now. Some of the coolest guys you'll ever meet. They do good work and don't try to push things onto you. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best auto repair shop in Jacksonville. The battery of my car is dead and after I jump started it, the convertible top and the trunk of my car got stuck. I called so many shops they said they don't fix the convertible. Some of them recommended me to the dealer. So I went to Coggin Nissan At The Avenues in Jacksonville. But the mechanics of the dealer don't know what they're doing. I'm waiting for 1 hour to fix my car and then find out they don't even know how to open the trunk with my physical key. And they said they reprogram my car twice and it won't work. In the end they charged me $189 for nothing. In the end I went to JJ's. I made the appointment for the next day. They don't have a check on fee or diagnostic fee whatsoever. As a matter of fact, they fix my car for free in 3 hours. More importantly, in order to dispute the transaction of $189 for the Nissan dealer. I have to have a new invoice to show to my bank that I will fix my car in another shop. So the next day I called JJ shamelessly to send me an invoice through my email. And they did it. They sent me a $0 invoice. Therefore, the service here is incredibly perfect! They offer you some small canned cokes, coffee, bottled water and snacks for free. The front of their shops is the waiting area that looks like someone's house. It is a similar design as my BOBA PANDA TEA SHOP, but I have a free massage chair they don't. Anyway I also like the facts that the boss JJ treats his mechanic stuff with dignity. They have a full functional kitchen for the mechanic to cook their own lunch. Also they got a shower place and the closet for the Grease monkeys to clean themselves after work. The only thing I dislike a little is the photos on the wall showing the boss taking their stuff to have some dinner maybe at their birthdays. And the JJ the boss has to be in the center of every photo frame. It literally shows the guy is self centered, LOL. but from one boss to another, all entrepreneurs are somehow narcissistic. Without it we cannot go through the dark time of our business. I'm just glad JJ's Auto Care did a good job for me. Thank you so much!

My AC stopped working randomly so I made an appointment online and was able to bring my truck in within just a couple days. Everyone at JJ's was wonderful to work with! My truck was being a particularly difficult patient but they persevered and got the job done. It took a little longer than I expected but that was because they had to make sure they had the right parts so I appreciated the attention to detail. I felt like the labor cost was fair and will go back next time I need anything done on my truck. So thankful to have found honest mechanics.

Honest company! This is a family business & beyond HONEST!!!!They were so kind, helpful & what they say is the truth, which now a days is very hard to find in the auto business. I was told about the company, I had just lost my husband & was worried if I was making the correct decision. I’m so glad I listened to who recommended them & my gut & so I called them.I had total faith in them when the minute JJ himself answered the phone & Gary is wonderful & kept me up to date with my truck. I won’t ever go to another shop for brake issues or anything else they work on!!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being who y’all are…..honest & kind!

To start off I had the clutch replaced on my 2009 Honda civic si in March. I ended up putting a new clutch in after 5,000 miles to support more power and the fact I didn’t trust their mechanics. (Hint I had the correct assumption). This shop neglected to install 2 bell housing bolts for the transmission (bolts that connect the transmission to the engine) and 1 bolt on the transmission mount that supports it by going into the frame rail. They also snapped my knock sensor and claimed it was “fixed” when the sensor was never actually replaced.I had to go and spend $150 on a new sensor when I should not have had to.The throwout bearing used in the car was NOT OEM HONDA and was the poor quality bearing always included with clutch kits. The bearing already had play in it when it was removed. (This bearing would have failed long before the clutch disc wore out).Pictures below of my invoice, missing bolts, and snapped knock sensor. Utter negligence which would have caused issues further down the line. I can't believe they are charging top dollar (I PAID $1700) when they can't even do their job with integrity! Will never be returning with my car again. Their technicians are breaking things and not replacing them and either neglecting to install important bolts or not notifying the customer those bolts are missing (which I would have happily paid the $5-10 a piece they would cost to replace!!).Services: Transmission

I recently had the opportunity to visit JJs Auto Care and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I felt valued as a customer. The quality of their services (fix my car back lights) was outstanding, exceeding my expectations in every way. I would highly recommendService: Electrical repair

To start off I had the clutch replaced on my 2009 Honda civic si in March when it unexpectedly went out on me. Clutch was fine at first and felt great. I picked up the car and it had a check engine light (I used a scanner I had at home to check the engine code and it was the knock sensor). This will come into play later. I ended up bringing the car back to them 2 times for this knock sensor issue (the cause of the check engine light). Knock sensors are important, if they are damaged your car can run very poorly. Also another noise popped up, like a slight rattling. I had them check this out and they chalked it up to a "poor quality aftermarket engine mount". I highly doubted that was the issue. I recently had enough of the rattling noise and wanted to upgrade the clutch anyways to a slightly stiffer stage 1 clutch. A friend of mine is the head technician at a different shop and he helped me pull the transmission and install an upgraded clutch. Upon getting ready to pull the transmission out of the car we discovered 2 bolts were missing that connect the transmission to the engine and 1 bolt on the transmission engine mount was missing (a rather important structural bolt that goes into the frame). The throwout bearing was also NOT OEM HONDA and was the poor quality bearing always included with clutch kits. The bearing already had play in it when it was removed. (This bearing would have eventually failed. I'm happy I decided to check their work and install an upgraded clutch after 5,000 miles). The knock sensor mentioned above was also completely snapped. So not only did this shop neglect to install 2 very important bolts that hold the transmission to the engine, they neglected to install or did not notify me I had a missing engine mount bolt along with snapping my knock sensor!!! The car came back to them with the SAME EXACT ISSUE 2 times and nothing was done. The check engine light was fixed but how would a knock sensor be snapped like that if it was already replaced? The plastic gets brittle with age but brand new sensors shouldn't break in half.Pictures below of my invoice, missing bolts, and snapped knock sensor. Utter negligence which would have caused issues further down the line. I can't believe they are charging top dollar (I PAID $1700) when they can't even do their job with integrity! Will never be returning with my car again. I WOULD NOT trust this shop with my car or any car if their technicians are either neglecting to install important bolts or not notifying the customer those bolts are missing (which I would have happily paid the probably $5-10 a piece they would cost to replace!!).

Ladies.......be you married, single, widowed, elderly, JJ's Auto Care should be your 'GO-TO' place.....as it is definitely mine! It is so, so hard these days to find honest, trustworthy, reasonable, go-out-of-their-way automotive repair businesses. THIS IS ONE! Highly recommend!
