On January 19th, 2024 I went to Lens Crafter for an eye exam. After completing my eye exam the doctor mentioned one eye being farsighted and the other being nearsighted (I’ve neither) and explained that eyes can worsen over time.I received my eye prescription but upon looking it over I noticed a drastic change and brought it to their attention. They insisted eyes change with age and time (I’m a young adult and have always had 20/20 vision with prescription). I am not an expert and believed them, however later in the week when I took the prescription to another Lens Crafters and was presented the glasses, I was unable to see with them. The medicine was intense and I couldn’t read or clearly see the paper in-front of me.The technician doubled checked the prescription for the glasses and assured me they followed the prescription. I returned the glasses and went to another eye doctor for a second opinion.On January 31st, 2024 I went to American Best for a new eye exam (out of pocket). After the eye exam, the doctor informed me that I’m not farsighted or nearsighted (the opposite of what the first doctor diagnosed ). My new prescription was closer to similar prescriptions I’ve had in the past (20/20 with prescriptions) and I was able to see clearly with the new prescription. This doctor/location didn’t do their DUE DILIGENCE AND COULD’VE CAUSED SERIOUS DAMAGE.Please get a second opinion.ALSO, the lady at the front desk after my exam here was rude and dismissive. The young gentleman who worked the front desk was kind. They refused to provide my PD even though I paid for the exam, because I wasn’t interested in purchasing a pair of glasses that day(website say PD can be done with exam).

Terrible place, the male doctor has "preferences' took my $200 never supplied me with an accurate contacts prescription, they actually asked me for an old prescription from a another doctor to supply me with inaccurate samples. And did not care to correct it. This happened 6 months ago. It's a experience to remember !!

Service offered to us vs other walk ins was night and day… just because we ordered via the LensCrafters website and picked it up instead of going into the store and ordering. The customer service rep ensured that their prior customers were happy with the fitting and product and took extra care to ensure their satisfaction.I wish I could say the same for us, we were given the boxes and when we attempted to open to check the fitting/product we were told “oh you can take them home, you haven’t ordered it in the store you ordered it online” in a very condescending tone.I wish we were allowed to open and try it in the store as one of the frames came crooked and needs to be leveled. Paying over $500 for such service which now either warrants another trip to a store or wait for a replacement. Needless to say, will not be back!

The Dr pulled me back for my appointment right at 11. It took 20 minutes and the appt was efficient. After I got my prescription, I went right to the showroom where Ms. Ruby and Will assisted me! I felt so comfortable. I absolutely love this location. They looked up my insurance proactively and were super attentive. If you ever are on the fence on what eye place to choose, come here!
