This is my first time renting from Extra Space. I signed a contract and started renting in Decmber. It is April and they just raised the monthly rate by 30% with no warning or explanation. When I called CS, they just said the contract states that they have the right to change rates any time as long as they let you know 30 days in advance. I got no notice or warning, and I am not willing to pay their rate hikes. They don't care about you. They are just willing to bet you won't move out when the rates go up (for no reason). Other storage companys don't treat their customers this way.

His customer service skills are outstanding ,he greeted me with a warm smile and took the time to listen to my needs, ensuring I felt valued. Horrible service.
We got robbed Jan 30, no cameras point down the alley my unit and 2 other units that got hit.
All the cameras were pointed down at the pond. Said we were going to get compensated on the month of February and transfer fees. I'm being charged for it.
Don't not rent from them!!
Horrible security, terrible on site management.
