Been going to Mrs Ling for 5+ years now. She does a great job with your nails and with the shapes and will not let you do anything that would damage them. Any problems she will get them fixed and is good at working you in if you break a nail (cause lord knows we are all good at that). Always recommend her to anyone who’s looking in the Jax area. Worth the drive.

My tips came out well but I had the worse experience for my "pedicure". I stayed there for almost 5 hours!! They don't use soap or a brush to scrub your feet -- even for basic.. how hygienic is that. They just use the same water. For a scrub they charge 5$ additional... the scrub wasn't even anything special. I liked the nail tech who jumped in to help. I thought after so many great reviews, This could be a good place to try, but unfortunately I will not be going back there again!

I have been going to Ling nails for 6 months now regularly for fills. Coming from Los Angeles, it is the best nail salon in JAX. Every single tech is amazing and the owner is attentive to all of her customers. I have been with all of the different techs and they truly are great and do amazing designs and detailed shaping. Thank you Ling!

Well, it seems to be that it was a somewhat busy day, with 3 or 4 customers in the store. One of the ladies already had somebody waiting for her nails to be done, but took me in for an eyebrow waxing before somebody already sitting down. She did my eyebrows very quick and left them uneven and messy. I understand the rush, but I deserve my own time. She rushed me out of the store.

I do not enjoy having to write this; I have had good experiences here in the past, but results have only gotten worse and worse over time, with my most recent manicure being so poor I want to cry over the wasted money and damage done to my nails. This will be long winded, but I want to paint a mental picture for you of the damage done. I will also mention, Ling herself usually does a great job, but her other nail tech does not typically, and I always end up being sat with the latter.Let me express, my nails are quite thin as they naturally grow, so I need the assistance of gel polish in order to grow them out. With that being said, I went in most recently to get a gel manicure, with the extra hardening gel they offer for a little extra stability. However, the nail tech who assisted me thinned my nails to a DEVASTATING point when removing the previous gel she had applied, to the point that my pointer finger was practically as thin as paper. She asked if I wanted my nails shorter; I said no, then she argued with me about it and trimmed them anyways (okay, cool, so why did you even ask??) She filed my nails a bit, but did not do anything that I would call shaping. My nails link like they grow at an angle due to the haphazard filing. Fantastic.I went for a plain color with a decal sticker on each ring finger; a typical choice for me. The decals were applied poorly, with one having a massive bubble underneath. I pointed this out and she seems to attempt to fix it, but this amounted to filing at the top of the nail and re-sealing it quite poorly. That decal has now broken off. She also filed at the top coat on some other nails and did not reseal it, so I have some weird splotches on my nails. The other decal is beginning to chip as well. And that thinned out pointer finger I mentioned? It is so thin that it bends if I am not exceedingly careful. It is now chipping and breaking, of course.A huge contributing factor to how brittle my nails are at current is that she NEVER seals the tips, leading to easier chipping and sometimes the polish completely separating from the nail at the tip. With all the damage I've mentioned, you would think I got this manicure a month ago, but no, it was a week ago. A week ago I paid to have my nails reinforced so they wouldn't break, and now they are breaking and damaged due to a lack of care from the person I paid to work on them for me.I am incredibly disappointed and will not be going backService: Manicure

I cannot believe how blatant Ling Nails is with their discriminatory business practices. I have been here multiple times and have consistently been charged more than other customers for the same exact services. If you send your young daughters here, they will be exploited and up-charged, I have witnessed it upon multiple occasions. I was appalled at the way I was spoken to after my last visit. The unashamed prejudice from the owner herself made me feel as if I was in the wrong century. My hope is that this salon will stop taking advantage and discriminating against patrons on the basis of appearance. We are all paying customers and should be treated as such regardless of age, gender, or race. With the endless options of other salons in the Jacksonville area, I will never set foot in Ling Nails again.

I didn’t feel welcomed! When my daughter and I walked in, no one said Hi, Hello, Welcome..not a word ! You could feel the tension in the room, my first and last visit! Then their so called receptionist says…they said they’re not taking any walk-ins…who? We all in the same room and I didn’t hear a thing and then not to mention, when we walked in, they were all looking at us crazy as hell…my daughter and I felt very uncomfortable! My daughter was like did we do something? Why are they looking at us like that? So we took our business elsewhere! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LING LING.!

The staff was so sweet and Ling did an amazing job on my nails, I absolutely love them! Their service is the extra mile, I had a hole in my dress that I did not notice, and one of the nail techs quickly sewed it for me while I was waiting to get my nails done. Thank you so much for being so amazing!

I have been going to Ling Nails for almost two years now and I can honestly say, "I've found MY nail salon". Ling is a perfectionist and cares about her customers experience. You will need to make an appointment to ensure there a tech to service you.

The good: no wait on a Friday during lunch time, friendly staff, tons of polish colors, fixed a flaw I found after having left and coming back. The tech didn't destroy my cuticles/nail beds. The blended color they did for me is nice. The bad: the most uncomfortable chairs I've been in, the remote buttons were all broken. The mani table had no padding to rest your elbows on. The tech I had spoke no English. Zero. I wasn't asked which "type" of pedi/mani I wanted outside of what type of polish. Currently my left big toe is swollen on the side where the tech dug something out between the nail and bed. The services I got for mani and pedi were minimal at best. No extra callus removal. I paid $75 before tip for bare bones services. I've been here in the past and it was a much better experience, I won't be returning in the future.

I was over in the Mandarin area and researched nail salons and found this one that was rated much higher than others so I decided to give it a try. I was under impressed. The pedicure was just okay but the real issue are my fingernails. I just asked for them to remove my dip polish and give me a basic manicure with buffing my nails. I can barely do anything with my fingers today because my nails are in so much pain. I am assuming they are bruised from the way they removed the dip. My cuticles were not cut down either. I paid $53 for a manicure and pedicure and it's the worst in town.
