Whet in there today September 1st to refund something. The cashier just stood there didn't even look at me or acknowledge me didn't say good afternoon how can I help you. Didn't want to give me a refund got the refund anyways talk to the manager and she tells me that it's this generation today I said no it's the older generation to. very poor management skills this lady has they don't know how to train cashiers right. they need to teach them how to learn respect for people.

The store is pretty diverse, but the employees are kind of unprepared. There is no pricing for many items. The young caucasian cashier is nice to everybody, but the others just ignore clients , spend a lot time chit chatting with customers they like and make others wait.

A Dollar Store (With a little Bit More)
Just finished my first visit to ‘Roses’ on Normandy.
It was “Interesting”.
It had its good and it had its bad.
Lets start with the good.
THE GOOD….If you take the time, and do a little searching around the store, you will find some deals that are comparable, to the prices you'd find in many dollar stores. I was also surprised with the size of the store, and the amount of merchandise, they had available. They had TV’s, Microwaves, Coffee Makers, Clothes, Cleaning Products, Clothes, Food, and more (Most at very reasonable prices). It had kind of an ‘Ollies’, Discount Store feel to it. The last good thing I have to mention was a lovely, and very pleasant cashier, by the name of Hannah, who seemed to be just a ray of sunshine, with every customer I saw her ring up.
THE BAD….I don’t enjoy saying it, but there are a few areas of improvement that ‘Roses’ could step up. Not all the prices are great. Some are the same as, or higher than what you’d find at most any other store, so be careful. Another issue to be wary of, is that they have a lot of merchandise, but you’ll find that there is no price sticker on the product , or price tag underneath. I put a tube of toothpaste in my cart thinking it was $2.50, when it was rung up, I found out it was in fact $4.00. Don’t be afraid to ask for a price check, or you could end up paying more, than you intended to. The last issue, is the amount of disorder in the store. You’ll find Pallets, and unstocked merchandise, blocking numerous aisles. But when it comes to looking for a deal, I find this to be just a minor inconvenience if anything.
CONCLUSION: ‘Roses’ feels like what would happen if you took a ‘Dollar Tree’ mixed it with ‘Ollies’ Discount Store, and sprinkled it with just a hint of ‘Walmart’. You will save money, but if you're not careful you could overpay on some items. Still, if you’re like me, and you have a little time to explore, and enjoy finding a deal when you can, I think ‘Roses’ on Normandy is at the very least, worth a look.

Good place for "certain items" at a lower price. They even have some grocery items. If you take the time to do a quick walk-thru, that's the only way to know if this store is for you.

OMG OMG WHERE IN THE WORLD DO THEY GET ALL THESE RUDELY UGLY PEOPLE MANAGING THESE STORES CALLED THE ONE ON NORMANDY BLVD ABOUT A PACKAGE MAY HAVE BEEN LEFT DON'T RECALL THE CASHIER GIVING ME THE BAG ANYWAY LONG STORY SHORT CALLED THE STORE IT was said if you Left it yesterday they've already put it back what ever happened to writing stuff in a log book BUNCH OF THEIVES THANK GOD IT WAS ONLY WORTH ABOUT $4.00 NEVER EVER AGAIN MOST GHETTO FABULOUS STORE WOW WOW WOW ONLY N NEVER MIND MAKE SURE U ALL GET ALL YOUR PACKAGE

If I could give a zero that's what my rating would be for this particular location. my very first shopping trip here was wonderful even though me my husband and best friend only had 30 minutes to shop before closing. I was super excited because we had just moved to Jacksonville from Orlando and the Orlando location was horrible the selection of anything was slim to none. So to walk in this location and have such huge selections to choose from was awesome. With that being said I proceeded to checkout with what little bit I was able to pick out before closing time. I was walked back into the store a few moments ago to do some more shopping with my older aunts who have never been to this store at all and was very happy to show it off to them when I was approached by more than one employees and told I needed to leave the store immediately because my purse was too big and the last time I was in the store I stole a whole bunch of items. Which they could NOT produce any evidence of me stealing anything and I also have a receipt for every item I purchased the one and only time I had been to the location previously. So my older aunts was then approached on the aisle next to the one I was on and told I had just left them and that they needed to find a new ride because I had threatened to shut all the employees in the store because I was asked to leave since everytime I come in the store I walk out with bags of stuff after stealing it. This is by far my most worst experience is a discount store ever. I will be contacting better business bureau. I will also be contacting corporate as well for the rude harassing lieing employees they have working for them here. They should not only be ashamed of themselves for treating an honest customer the way they did but lose their jobs as well.what has this world really came down to these days. I will NEVER and I repeat NEVER give this company a single dollar of mine or anyone I knows ever again. PERIOD !! Being followed to my car after being talked to the way I was,was very degrading and embarrassing to not only myself but my family as well. To the owner, you should really check your employees better when hiring them. I will forever tell each and every single person I know nOT to spend a single dollar at Any location ever again once I tell them my story. horrible horrible horrible shopping experience DO NOT RECOMMEND SHOPPING HERE. ORLANDO LOCATION IS MUCH BETTER JUST DOESNT HAVE A VERY BIG selection but still don't recommend any location at all EVER.

Bought underwear for men and the tag is not even in the back. They don't have a front or back and they won't return them because I opened them. Spend a lot of money at this store and will never return..

I love this store I cannot express how I feel about it I live right around the corner I know all the employees and they are very nice very good customer service I'm a manager at Wendy's and I'm very big on customer service and they have it together managers are awesome too thank you for being there for me and my family ❤️??????
