Visitors can exercise, go for a walk or a good run, dance, meet with friends, have a picnic, or enjoy family outings. It is open early for runners and later in the evening with lighting for strolls. The weekend brings activities like rope walking and aerial acrobatics. The amazing water view is a highlight, and fishing is allowed without bother. A big angel statue sits next to the water. Currently, plastic barricades and makeshift walls remain along the river from past hurricanes and necessary repairs, which can block the view at the water's edge but serve as a safety measure. The park is typically well taken care of and reflects the diverse community, creating a great outdoor community space and a fun place for pictures.
