Always ALWAYS compare prices with automotive repair. This place is full of liars and thieves. They have absolutely no moral compass.

About two weeks ago, I took my car here because I shut down on the side of the highway. I was driving and all of a sudden my car started to shake with no noise prompting, and I could no longer drive the vehicle, the engine light turned on. I had it towed to Midas, and it took them a day to get back to me about what they thought was wrong with it, after having me pay a $230 diagnostic fee to check it out. They told me that I had a leak in my fuel pump, and that the fuel had leaked all over the spark plugs that also needed replacing now, as well as a tuneup, quoting me almost $2600 for the entire thing. I did a very simple search of what my car actually needed, and the parts actually needed for it, and realized very quickly that the price I was being quoted was so jacked. I told them that I was going to tow it to another car shop because the guy I spoke to told me that he couldn’t even turn the car over because it wasn’t starting. I sent a tow truck to the first car shop, which is mine, only to find that it in fact is driving for some reason, and I did not need to tow it at all, which was news to me. I took it to the second car shop and they told me that they did not think it was the fuel pump whatsoever, did not see any leak nor smell it because they would have smelled fuel, and wondered why the spark plugs were needing replacing when they looked and worked perfectly fine, and we’re not at all in the vicinity of where the fuel pump was to leak on in the first place. They told me it was the alternator, failing, and that their tests that they did showed it repeatedly failing the system. I asked Midas to send over the diagnostic code that they must have retrieved in order to come up with a very different conclusion, and after several attempts of doing this, I still got no response.I will never be returning. I would have driven off that shop with a car that still had a major problem, and “fixed” $2600 worth of things that didn’t need it.

My 67-year-old mother stopped by this shop for help with her car, and I cannot express how disgusted I am with the treatment she received. Brock H. and his shady crew quoted her thousands of dollars to replace the power steering gearbox. The actual issue? Low power steering fluid.
Strangely enough after their “inspection”, the low-pressure hose to the gearbox was barely attached. Funny how they somehow missed that while diagnosing the need for an entire gearbox replacement. The hose was secure before her visit, so how did it end up loose? I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.
If you want to be ripped off and taken advantage of, this is the place to go.
To the management (assuming you bother to read this): How do you sleep at night? It’s places like this that make people distrust national auto repair chains. Rest assured, I’ll be warning everyone I know to steer clear of the “Midas Touch”.

Just went into a local place to have my oil changed and tires rotated. My daughter made me promise that I would mark my tires.
Before I got my car back, there was a list of things that was recommended, of course. One of the recommendations is an alignment.
My car is finished. Paid my bill. Walked out to my car, checked my marked tire was still in the same location. I called the manager out. Let him know. I have a marked tire. My tires were not rotated. He looked shocked and said it will be addressed. He took the car back in the bay. Manager came to me and said the reason the tires were not rotated is because the tire pattern is even all the way around. So I asked him why do you recommend an alignment? *Crickets.*

Got some services done at this location. They gave my vehicle back to me with a tire that had no lug nuts on it which led to the wheel coming off in the middle of the street. Was told management would reach out regarding the situation (of course they never did) but still paid full price for low quality service. Avoid this location at all costs.

Hello, good afternoon, today I had a bad experience since they did not want to rotate my tires because of a very rude gray-haired mechanic who did not want to do the work for me, a shame since he was my driver for almost 3 years and I will not return again because of the bad way they treated me for just that service and on other previous occasions they have not had the best way to treat me as a customer. They do not have enough preparation to deal with customers.

Will never take any of my vehicles to this location ever again. The first time I dropped my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee off was 08/16/2024 and had to take back multiple times and even left it over night with them twice. Pick it up on the 31st (after not having a car since the 29th). I have zero faith that’s it 100% repaired. They claim their Master Mechanic looked at it and was stumped. The fuel injectors were changed and it’s running better. I told them what the car was doing and that I suddenly was getting terrible gas mileage. The young Manager told me it’s “normal” to see this in Jeeps. It took the 15 days to figure it out (maybe). Also learned that the young office manager is the person that diagnoses the cars not the technicians doing the work. That makes no sense. I am extremely angry and feel someone from the corporate office look into their practices.

My last time ever going to a Midas. I guess they didn’t think $130 plus tax was enough for an alignment so they threw on $11 for shop fees. Really? My car was there for 20-30 minutes and that required $11 in shop fees, what a joke. When I asked about it the guy said they do it because they can’t charge tax but they damn sure charged me that too. Definitely won’t be back.

I brought my daughters car in here to get the oil changed and they put the wrong oil in it(too thin) so the engine warning light came on. This is after I verified exactly what oil would be put in prior to the work being done. They asked me to bring it back in and they re did the oil change with the correct oil and the car was running perfect again. Things happen so I decided to give them another chance and guess what happened?! They put the wrong oil in again. Again this is after i verified what oil would be going in it PRIOR to the work being done.. It is a VW CC..it takes a certain type of oil..if it is cheap and too thin the car doesn’t run right. I took it to the dealer to have it redone
. I can’t recommend this location. Look at my reviews..I don’t typically give low ratings.

My husband and I were driving home from south Florida. We started having car troubles on the drive and were still 6 hours from home. No other place could see us until next week, but Midas took us right away and helped us with our car. They were very hospitable and offered to provide an Uber or set us up with a hotel room if needed. Fortunately they were able to fix our car in a timely manner so we could get back in the road. Highly recommend!
