Terrible!!!! I rented a unit a month before my college student ended her school year to store her stuff for the summer. The unit I had been paying on had a lock on it from somebody else. The owners don’t respond to phone or text messages. You clearly get what u pay for! Spend a little extra for a nicer facility. We went to Cube Smart and had a great experience.

I live across the street I'm getting ready to relocate I thought about using them because Of the convenience but after reading these reviews i seriously doubt I will And I'm wondering how this place is still in business and needs to be shut down

I have not been able to get in the gate since before Thanksgiving. I have left voicemails, text messages and no one will call me back or fix the code. I can’t even get in to get my stuff and find another storage place. The garbage stacked in the front makes the office look like a dump. Very disappointed

Run fast and far from this place. You empty your space, tell them you have vacated and they draft your account anyway, The office is never open and the phone is never answered. We were promised a refund yet it never happened. We had to dispute it with our bank and they reimbursed us but we had to get a new card so Monument couldn't draft our account anymore. If you look forward to this type of interaction with a business, use them. If you don't want to deal with a company that has no clue how to run a business, rent from a reputable storage facility. My next letter is to file a complaint with the BBB. Quick update with the BBB. I went to file a complaint and was absolutely astounded by what I saw. The BBB will not rate this company. Their rating has been revoked. They have a long list of complaints just like mine and Monument didn't resolve most of them. They just ignore them. All of those 1 star reviews shown at the top of their Google reviews are spot on.

They never answer the phone, never call you back, office door has been locked during business hours on multiple visits. They cannot be found on the property when they don’t answer office door or phone

This place sold the contents of my storage unit for non payment only problem is I never missed a payment and have email receipts for all of them. By law I should have been notified and received a letter in the mail. My son went to get my furniture out and the lady at desk said they sold wrong unit by mistake. No one will answer phone at this business so you need to go in person. This place is a joke and the woman who runs it is clearly on drugs. Do not use this place!

It will be very easy to rent a unit here provided they have space - you'll never need to talk with anyone...however, should you ever need anything you will have a very hard time taking to or texting with anyone. I have logged many calls, emails, texts - trying to get a notification that my unit has been empty and I moved out weeks ago...they billed me anyway last month even though I missed the cuttoff of giving them 10 days notice by a few days...I paid the bill. Today, I was billed again. The paperwork now reads that they can bill until your move out request is approved...I've literally paid them several thousand dollars in rental fees over the past few years. Buyer beware - the prices are some of the best in this part of town, there is a reason.

They do not return your calls or emails. We live out of state and have been attempting to get into our unit for the past two years when we visit home. Our debit card recently changed and we've been attempting to contact them to update it- again, no response to calls and emails. At this point, I'm wondering if our stuff is even there anymore. Terrible customer service.

No one never there to answer the ph and I'm a current customer who need my access code been paying and for months I been emailing them and they refuse to email me bk or answer no one never in office at the operating times neverand I still need my access code

I also have had the same experience recently. Multiple messages left and numerous phone calls. And had to go somewhere else.I did hear back once and was told " Oh well someone must have put there stuff in their and put a lock on it." She also asked if I would like another unit or a refund? I said I would like a refund. She stated that shouldn't be a problem and she would get back to me when it was done.. That was 4 days ago and still no response to my messages and phone calls. Just keep getting automated voice recording. I did leave a message this last time stating if I do not hear back within 24 hrs I will contact News for Jax.

I had my lock cut off and my tile saw stolen out of my unit. I moved my stuff out 2 months ago and still keep getting billing notifications from them.They are never there, they never answer the phone and they don't return phone calls. Half the people that work there look like they are strung out on crack, horrible place!

I rented a unit online. When I showed up to use the unit, there was a lock on the unit I was given. The office was closed at the time but I still called to leave a message and texted. The following business day I called and texted again. I had to get another storage unit with a different company. I've contacted Monument Storage 6 times asking for a refund. They have ignored all text and voice mails. I've got to their location during business hours to find the office locked and no one answers the door. I've used them before about 5 years ago and wanted to use them this time also. I will never use them again. Terrible way to operate a business.

I had a space in the back for around 4 years to park my landscape trailer. Everything went well for quite a few years. I started having problems with my trailer being pulled out of my spot and a camper was in my spot. I complained and they said they would take care of it. My trailer was parked on the side of the building, and remained there. The next episode was a boat parked in my spot. They acted like they didn't know who it belonged to. My spot was stolen and they continued to charge me.

Very poor communication. Continue to receive autopay notices several weeks after space had been vacated. No replies to my communications by email, text or phone.
