Will never come back to this office, nor will my family. If online booking is not confirmed, then why do I get a text the day before saying you’ll see me the following day. Excuses- double booked the appt, power outage, no phone to call.

Let me start off by saying I am not one to leave a review, especially a bad one. But this place is God awful and seriously needs a change in staff. When I walked in the lady with lip piercings at the front desk already had an attitude. I was there to originally get an eyeglass exam and a new pair of glasses because I have been wearing contacts for 2 years and it's starting to get expensive. Once I was taken to the back, another lady did my eye exam who was very sweet. She asked me if I wanted to get a contact exam along with my eyeglass exam, to which I replied "does my insurance cover it?" And she said "YES it does". I agreed to have the contact exam so I have an updated version on file if I ever want to get contacts this year, and was told that it WAS COVERED. Keep this in mind.So when I get back to the front of the store and pick out my glasses, the lady with the lip piercings sits me down and tells me my total will be 209 dollars ( originally only supposed to be 40). When I asked why it was that much she told me it was because of the contact exam. I then explained to her that the lady in the back told me it was covered. "No, your not 21 yet so your insurance doesn't cover it " she said with so much attitude. She didnt care at all and even smirked when she saw i was upset about it. Im not usually one to cry especially in public, but the way I was treated here had me leaving in tears and -209 because they lied to me and treated me horribly. I am a college student who just recently got out of foster care, so every penny I have is important to my future. I will NEVER ever come here or to any other myeyedr again.

When I went to my appointment, the person who took the photo of my eyes did not treat me well, she did it in a bad way. The exam was x zoom which I did not like and the doctor also went x zoom when I went to get my glasses, he did not do it. I had after 2 weeks they told me that I had to wait until another week because I cannot be without a mirror, it is difficult for me to wait another week

They have the worst attitude at this office. When I went to my appointment after my examination I was told to pick out glasses. I asked which ones where covered by my insurance. The lady just point at two walls of glasses and said "those are". So I pick out a frame to only be told they weren't covered and the ones that were absolutely horrible. I then asked how much contacts would be, the girl that pointed me to wrong glasses very rudely interrupts me me and says "you never asked for a contact lenses prescription when I asked you why you were here", I told her she never asked if I wanted one to begin with. She was very nasty and rude to the point where I was gonna leave. I then asked her was their an issues for asking for one? Then the other lady behind the counter jumped in and told me no it wasn't a issue. The rude one then walked off mumbling under her breathe. Very unprofessional place, do not go here if want to be treated with respect and professionalism. I only went here because the riverside location no longer accepts my insurance. They need hire new people and train them on how to interact with customers. Because I wasn't the only one she was rude too that day. There were other customers that were talked to like absolute trash especially the ones that don't speak English very well.

Do not come here. I never in my life encountered rudeness and attitude from an optometrist office. The receptionist in the front was very kind and welcoming while there was another girl there that was not. She called me over and I stated to her that I need to check in. She stated the wifi was down and that it will be a wait. I was fine with the wait however the way she said it, it was as if she’s done for the way with attitude. She’s she proceeded to go over the insurance and asked for my last four numbers of my social to find my insurance and asked for ID. As she was going over the procedure she stated that it will be a tele tv exam, something like that I can’t remember the name. So I asked her how does that work and she looked at me as if I was supposed to know with such attitude. She was explaining and again I wasn’t sure how it all work so I kept asking questions and it’s as if she didn’t want to do anything. She had her facial expressions and it started to make me upset. So I asked her a few questions in what I needed down and she seems like she was over it. So I asked my id back and told her she needs to work on her attitude and customer service and she continued with an attitude in asking “what do you mean”. So I asked for my id again and continue to tell her to work on her customer service. As she gave me my id I heard the woman behind her say” just tell her bye”. I wasn’t going to waste anymore time going back and forth with ignorance and lack of professionalism. Obviously those two women are not happy to be there and seems like they’re obligated to work there. The woman who said “just tell her bye” obviously is not happy with herself and the one that attended me needs more training in customer service and how to address someone professionally. As for the first receptionist who greeted me was kind and welcoming and more professional.

Been 3 months waiting on glasses. Constant delays, been in twice to pick them up, both times were very very incorrect and they had to remake them. (Once were completely wrong prescription, once was completely wrong lenses). "Promise dates" come and go with no communication.Don't bother trying to call, you'll be on hold until you hang up.People are nice, but this place is awful

I scheduled my appointment online. I called the morning of the appointment to verify the time. I was told my appointment would be a virtual appointment. I waited 50 minutes and left. I do not recommend

If I could leave less than one star I most definitely would. This location sucks. I’ve had multiple dates scheduled to pickup my glasses. After a month I STILL don’t have them. Each inquiry results in being placed on hold until the caller gives up, in frustration. Avoid this location at all cost. Sign Jaded

I am a patient at MyEye Dr at the Normandy Blvd location in Jacksonville, Fl for several years..Just recently, I initially had somewhat of a mix up with my new prescription glasses, so I reached out to the location and connected with the store (Gm Evelyn). Once conmected, Evelyn was able to resolve my issue after reviewing all the necessary details quickly. Evelynn really went above and beyond personally to make sure my situation was handled! I really like to thank her and the staff at this location for taking care of my situation, and I highly recommend doing bussiness with them. Not often enough, I know customers are quick to leave a negative feedback, but I wanted to be sure to leave a good feedback when do! Again, appreciate the service and keep up the Great work!

Trust me I do not want to write a review especially negative one. This experience was so bad that I have to share. I made an appointment for my mother and grandmother for the same day and asked them what day they had so that they could both be seen on the same day back-to-back. They gave me an appointment for today at 2:20 for one and 2:40 for the other. While i was making the appointment the receptionist on the phone asked me for their information I think about 8 different times for each of them and even had me spelleach of their names multiple times. But we said well the appointments are made so we will go. Well, the day before the appointment they call to confirm, but they only call about one appointment and so I said there should be 2 appointments 20 minutes apart back-to-back, on the same day, at the same location. Well, they couldn't find it... and couldn't find it until finally, they said they found. It and they confirmed both of the appointments for both people back to back. Well, to make a long story short we get to the appointment time for the first appointment actually early at 2 o'clock and they said that they couldn't find the other appointment. So we explained everything and they said sorry and that's it. We went to sit in the waiting area and another lady was overhearing us and said that that was her 3rd appointment because the same thing had happened to her. She would make an appointment and get there and there would be no appointment made when she got there. That is unacceptable. I truly can't believe the lady I spoke to on the phone she was completely incompetent and needed more training. Do not go here. I am surprised they have 3 stars right now.

Incompetent and untrained employees work here. The appointment scheduling online is a mess and a joke. Setting an office appointment is a joke because because no one will answer the phone or knows how to properly schedule it. Also, if they do schedule it while you are there they are going to screw it up at the next appointment anyway and make your life more of an inconvenience. I literally have been waiting since September to be seen and they kept screwing up. Today was it for me. Don't waste your time going here.

I do not recommend MYEYEDR. On my insurance account it showed MYEYEDR as an in-network provider. I called the office in Riverside since I went to them in 2022 when I didn’t have insurance. They told me they didn’t accept my insurance at their location. I replied that MYEYEDR is listed as an approved provider by my insurance company. I was informed this location doesn’t take my insurance but the MYEYEDR on Normandy did take my insurance. So, I scheduled an appointment at the Normandy location. My eye exam was supposed to be covered 100% by my insurance. However, after filling out the appointment paperwork I was informed that I would owe for the reading of exam images associated with the remote examination I had agreed to, because this is not covered by my insurance. I didn’t know that I had agreed to a remote examination. I was taken back to an exam room by the tech. She quoted me a different price I’d be obligated to pay. When I explained to her that this amount was different than what I was told by the person at the front desk, she told me that she didn’t know why the woman at the front desk keeps giving people wrong information. During my visit I was in three different exam rooms. The areas on the doors and door frames by the door knobs were visibly solid with dirt in all the rooms. They clearly had not been cleaned and sanitized in a very long time. From the first exam room I could see that the carpet in the room across the hall was filthy. The second exam room had holes in a wall that needed to be patched and painted. When my exam was done I was taken to view the frame options. The frame selection was limited and they were all very cheap. They were nothing like the selection of frames in 2022 at the Riverside location. When I was done looking at the frames a representative sat me down at his computer to finalize my visit. He informed me that I didn’t owe anything and that I could leave. When I explained to him that I’d been told by two different employees that I owed two different amounts he looked something up on his computer and told me I actually did owe the amount the tech told me. I gave him my credit card and he left to go run my card. He came back shortly to inform me that the card reader wasn’t working and that they’d send me a bill. It appears that MYEYEDR is driving all their Medicaid patients and patients with certain ACA plans to this Normandy location. In my opinion the company has clearly made a decision that these patients don’t deserve the same level of services and cleanliness as their other patients.
