The doctor and nursing staff was amazing, but the receptionist who took my information was rude. She didn't say good morning and didn't even smile when greeted. Her first words was first and last name. Didn't say good morning or hi. When people arrived for their appointment it should always be with at least a smile, hi, or good morning when working in a field dealing with patients. One of the other staff members heard how she interacted with me and came to say good morning with a smile. That brighten my mood. If you are not a people's person dealing with the public then maybe you're in the wrong field. I could of been going through a hard time and to get that response from a staff member is unacceptable. Im posting this because it really bother me.

Dr. Mazzela is a godsend. He administered occipital neuralgia injections and I feel amazing after decades of pain. I am definitely going to return on a regular basis for pain management. The staff are also very helpful and efficient, and my appointment was less than an hour from start to finish.

Jodie and Marilyn are the very best definition of exceptional, superior and above and beyond customer service. They each truly went out of their way to ensure I was able to get scheduled and receive the best preventative care. I would truly recommend this location to anyone who seeks imaging services.

I had a scheduled appointment for an annual screening at Optimal Imaging - Southside on September 22, 2025. I waited approximately for an hour and during this wait time, I checked in with the front office representative 3 times as they informed me that I was registered and they cannot find my medical record in the back, so if I can wait until they find it. They never found my medical record within the hour waiting period, so I canceled the appointment. I scheduled my appointment at Precision Imaging for Sunday, October 5 at 1:50pm. Arrived at the appointment, checked in, and right before changing for annual screening, a representative stated that I cannot have the screening completed because they did not receive my medical records from Optimal image that I stated occurred in 2024 and to the test completed in 2023 at this location. I explained that at my annual medical visit, my doctor order the annual screening and if that is not sufficient to have an annual. Precision Imaging representative is explained that they have to go off of my 2022 record. Her at there office from 2023. Again, I am denied medical treatment from both Optimal Imaging and Precision Imaging and provided unsubstantiated reasons for the denial of treatment.

Procedure @ Belfort Road.
Insurance plan changed on the 1st of that month so new insurance card passed physically to reception and asked to update their records.
Received an invoice for Belfort Road procedure stating pay this by xx date, insurance denied your claim as your plan expired.
Checked my new plan online - No claim made.
Checked my expired plan online - Claim made and denied.
Called billing, 'leave your number to keep your place inline and we will call you back / we will call you back within 24 hours'.
No call back (this has been the experience on 2 separate previous occasions for different procedures) and common in these feedback reviews.
However, post on Google reviews and the Ascension St. Vincent's Community Manager will get in touch (as a gentleman did previously) and explain working on improving - that call was 18 months or so ago.
Not sure how long it takes to correct terrible service that wastes my time having to correct this.

Be careful during preregistration as they will try to con you into paying something. I foolishly did this. I had to cancel my appointment and inquired about my money. The person who canceled my appointment told me no money should have been taken at that time. Getting it back was like pulling teeth. Lesson learned that I will pass on. DO NOT PAY ANYTHING AT PREREGISTRATION.

My experience at this place on June 4, 2025, was absolutely horrendous in every way and I shall never go there again. Nobody seemed to have a clue about what they were supposed to be doing and my 8 AM appointment for a simple RUQ ultrasound was an hour late. The best solution would be to close it down.

I had an appointment 6-5/2025 was told to be there at 7:30 for my 8:00am appointment. They do not open the doors until 8:00. So do not go early! Spoke to receptionist and was told it always happens that the people making the appointments are not from the US. That reply was a bit unsettling.
My tech was amazing . Was out about 8:40.

The experience that my partner and I had at this medical facility was absolutely horrendous. It did not seem like the front desk knew what they were doing at all, They were completely flustered and all over the place. My partner and I got there 30 minutes before our appointment to get all of our paperwork figured out. We ended up being there for over an hour waiting to just simply check in because Marilyn and the other workers did not know how to help us. We were not told that Insurance would not cover the cost because it is connected to the Hospital facility so when we asked if we could pay without using insurance, they said that if we did, it would be fraud, which was completely false as they had to double down on themselves and offer us the actual amount without insurance. Once we tried to go through with the payment, Miss Marilyn was very flustered and frustrated and kept scoffing at us and kept swinging drawers and throwing our card around. I understand that everybody has their bad days, but we are trying to be as patient with her as possible and did not receive any patience in return. Let alone there were two nurses behind her that were also making a big deal and shouting out the fact that my partner was only 25 years old and didn’t need the service that the doctor prescribed. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy as a place to go for imaging.

My doctor had sent me a referral for this office to do an ultrasound on my foot due to ongoing pain that she could not identify. I had an appointment scheduled here for over a week. The day before my appointment they called and asked if I had a lump or a mass on my foot in which I replied, No. The lady asked if it was just for pain in the foot to which I replied, Yes. She said then I am canceling the appointment and that they do not do ultrasounds for just pain. She said that she cannot help me and that I need to contact my doctor. They should have looked at the order before scheduling me. I had already taken off work and scheduled a babysitter as I work from home with my children

I would give them a -20 stars if I could. Call me an hour before my appointment, told me I was due the test until next month. This was after calling last week and the morning was everything was fine for my appointment, I am going to somewhere that knows what they are doing
