I called there to ask if they buy bookshelf speakers. They said they would if they can test them. Then said they could test them on one of the many electronics they have there. So we brought the speakers and they said they would pay about $50 after looking at them, but we couldn't test them unless we went to get some thicker speaker wire. The manager told us to get the wire and bring it back so they could test them. We brought them back with the wires and the manager looked at the speakers and said he wouldn't take them because of a scratch on them. It was the only place that said they could test them without me disconnecting my entire amp to bring in to prove they work. They made me drive 40 minutes back there after already looking at the speakers just to change their mind. The manager was dismissive and because of that I guess he didn't bother to look at them better before wasting my time and gas.

contacted Brandon Grogan through Facebook Marketplace. since there was no description or location at all I messaged him about a item I was interested in. told me where the store was located and the items were available. thanked him and headed out the door. a few minutes later I get a message saying nevermind. I ask why? apparently he sold them while I was on my way. poor business in my opinion. maybe hire someone to do your social media ads. descriptions or at least the pawn shops name could be helpful. buyers beware.

Love working here! From the owner, to management, to co-workers and of coarse the customers. Meeting new folks everyday and helping them with either a loan (we have the lowest interest rate in town) or giving the best deals on what they want/need! Come check us out!

Been coming to this location (and Acme Street) for over 3 years now! They have always had the best customer service. We have watched the young associates grow into managers, which is always great to see promotion from the inside. Ms Jackie Lee has been taking great care of us the last few times and always is pleasant with a smile on her face. They also do the BEST prices for pawning loans of any shop we’ve visited on top of buying gift cards as well. Come visit them FIRST! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! Thanks guys for always taking great care of us ?

I have been a customer for at least three years at the store on Atlantic Blvd . I went to pick up my items on pawn today after paying on them since July 2020; however, the manager on duty could only produce some of the items; 2 items were missing and she didn't really care; all he did was to try and give some explanation to protect her company. Also, the manager will not give you the owner's number to talk to. Save your money and your property and go else where. This business and it's employees can't be trusted. I will be filing a claim with the Court. They expect the customer to follow the rules but they don't follow the rules. Please take my advice.

I posted my first 1 star review 5 months ago after very poor service & also what may actually be some unlawful actions. I was hoping that maybe the owner or member of management would have responded to me with at least an apology since they like to pride themselves in family built, family run, & treat customers like family. If the way I was treated is the way they treat family I sure am glad I am not part of their family.This is weighing heavy on my heart again now because my husband has pulled the riding mower that worked well before pawning it as we had to show Ms. Cheryl before she would take it in on pawn. However after the very poor horrible service provided when trying to get my mower back out of pawn, I am still very upset because I was told I should have made sure it ran before leaving the store with my mower & calling the next day how do they know I didn't do something to my mower instead of them breaking it. Well as a business shouldn't you provide the service to your customers showing them how well you took care of their property while they trusted you with it in a time of need that they were in needing to use it as collateral on a small loan. Please go back to my original review to see how my property was mistreated by this pawn shop "family". I have not stepped foot in one of their stores since the day I got my mower back & warn everyone I know to stay away from them. It is sad how all of them treated me as the customer, not just one employee but also the owner- Big Chad & Ms. Cheryl. And not one of them could take a moment to read or comment on my review. Very sad, they knew they were so wrong they wouldn't even try defending their actions or apologize because the wrong is so wrong they knew saying "Sorry" can't fix the problem or even paying for the repair wouldn't bring me back as a customer. So what all poorly run business owners do they ignored the problem hoping it would go away. Well I am back. Hopefully since I was trying to give a chance for them to redeem themselves & had other things more important take place I forgot to come back until now to check for a response from them that I can do something legally about this. I never gave permission for my property to leave the store I pawned it at, never was I told my property would be taken away from there. And I never gave anyone permission to use my property. I don't think it is legal for a pawn broker to use items that still belong to their customers & treat it as if they own the item. I am going to speak with a lawyer now & see what can be done. I will be happy just to have my story out there for other customers to hear & take caution doing business with this company. Will try updating once I speak to someone. Beware to all out there needing a little help & think this is the best pawn shop to do business with. Go across the street. They may charge more & may not loan out as much but they do take care of your property & provide good service.

Went to Pawn Smart today looking for a DC adapter for a vintage cassette recorder, they didn't have one but employee Susan Rivas went out of her way to try to help me find one on eBay. That was very nice of her. Thank you Ms Rivas?
