I came in with a few bins to sell. I came back in after the finishing going through, which was quick, so that was nice. They said the amount paid and the total items they took and gave me the bin of items they took. I say ok, let me look at the items they took. Then I asked how much they gave me for an item and she said she already cashed me out and couldn’t tell me. 🤦🏻♀️ I didn’t even get a chance to confirm I was happy with the amount. With the amount they gave me for total items I do not think I got enough for the item. Said cashier should have been more communicative with the transaction. Needless to say I will not be coming back here to sell.

First of all the staff was amazing, greeted me enthusiastically and helped me find some great Lulu leggings! The variety of styles is amazing, colorful and inclusive. I would definitely recommend this store for baddies on a budget!

Went to plato’s for the first time the other day because I've heard so much about this store I finally decided to go see what the excitement was about and it sure wasn’t exaggerated at all I was immediately greeted by the staff who were energetic, enthusiastic and ready to work. The store itself was big and had a wide variety of clothes and different brands to choose from i’ve seen a lot of people saying things like they only have Shein clothes but that wasn’t the case at all.I loved the selection and walked out with my arms full of clothes.The staff really was just an amazing part of the experience they had a conversation with me while I was getting checked out were quick and efficient and made me feel welcomed. I would totally recommend this store with the great prices, selection's, staff and so much more

I see why you have a 3.6. Horrible customer service.The girls out the sneakers 2 different sizes together. NOT MY FAULT!!!They sold me a pair of Converse sneakers one size bigger than the other one was 6.5 and the other one was 5.5 size-wise. I have a digital receipt. By me having a digital receipt I would think that they would give me back my money they didn't offer to exchangethem either ..the cashier was very rude and condescending. Not good customer service at all.. I own my own business.. my customers come first especially if I was in the wrong!! Customer service is horrible.General manager have my # never called me

I had a wonderful experience here even though I didn't stay very long. They were explaining to me that they did not take children's shoes. They directed me over to wants to plan a child. I was very appreciative of their friendliness and their direction.

I brought in 2 large bags full of items with tags still on them, unworn SKIMS, and tons of other barely worn in season clothes yet all they wanted to give me was a measly $3? I have shopped here and its a sea of the same shein clothes with stains, tears, rips, Half of the stuff on the racks is from forever 21 circa 2017 yet they wanted to give me $3 for my skims? A waste of my time and a waste of gas I have never hated a store more. Oh and if the owner wants to reply let me tell you this, your store is a disgusting mess. theres clothes always on the floor and it smells like cigarettes in there, go ahead and add more shein to your racks its clear that all yall want is cheap fast fashion clothes from skinny white girls. $3? what am I gonna do with that? $3 for clothes that i probably spent hundreds on in total.

I’ve heard about this location not taking clothes from poc but i decided to try and see for myself. all the clothes i brought were summer clothes but apparently they were full on inventory. but in my old town if they were full on inventory they would stop taking items in all together. super weird vibe, will not be back.

I went here today because as I usually do I visit Plato’s closet before I donate clothes. Staff was very rude. I wasn’t greeted. They were too busy laughing and playing at the register and if you asked a question it was like you were bothering them. Ms. Maria was the staff member that called herself helping today but was the rudest I encountered. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a Plato’s closet before. As I hear them complain about working and how they don’t feel like going through my bin. I get a text not even 10 minutes from me entering the store. They tell me all my items didn’t qualify. I had a dooney and Burke purse I wore literally twice in my bin they said I was told that they don’t usually buy purses. They were looking for fall and winter items. Meanwhile I had jeans, jackets, dresses things for typical fall and winter in my bin but had they even looked then maybe there would’ve been some type of purchase. Overall ms Maria tells me it wasn’t necessary for me to know her name and blankly stares at me as I asked how long it would take for my clothes, after snatching my device after I asked her about the process of selling at their store which was different from what I usually had to do. I told her I have literally jeans and sweats in my bin and she tells me “so what”. I wouldn’t even write this review if I didn’t feel like it was important to know as a colored person in this store that’s in the middle of a urban community you will be judged, laughed at, and talked to any way. I over heard Maria tell the new trainer that even though “her stuff is cute I’m not going through this. When the customer asks, just come up with a good excuse I’ve been working here long enough to know. They like to ask why we don’t want their stuff” as they tossed 5 items out of my bin and piled them back on top not even closing the bin. Store manager KENNY, you have to make a change… it’s your staff they aren’t friendly plus it may be why this store doesn’t do as well as the others.

I waited 45 minutes for them just to tell me that my stuff wasn’t what they were looking for. Even though some of the stuff I had was name brand stuff and in great condition. Waste of time, never will I go here again. They are to pricey on their used stuff that looked like it came from a junky Goodwill. While my stuff was more clean and in better condition. I also had a $90 pair of boots,(that was only worn once. In which they were still in great condition.) Worse place ever. I rather sell to eBay or Push mark, if I knew they were just going to waste my time.
