Very poor customer service and not authentic, not even a Spanish employee there. I asked if they had tropical soup called sancocho and they never heard of it. Then I heard them making jokes while I was walking out. Never again

The young women in there were great, very kind, knowledgeable, and driven to provide a good experience to any customer. The atmosphere could maybe use some music. The food was fresh and yum. I had the coconut shrimp bowl with a side of white rice. The rice could be cooked differently but my shrimp were super yum so I didn’t even care lol

I don’t understand why they have a phone number that doesn't get answered. I went through the drive-thru last Saturday. Ordered a 1/2 chicken meal but corrected my order before going to the window to pay for a 1/4 chicken meal. I heard the young man state the computer just updated and she's getting a 1/4 meal. Unbeknownst to me the young lady charges me for both meals. I only received the 1/4 which is what I wanted. But instead of correcting her error, she swiped my card a second time for the 1/2. I have been calling them to try and get that money refunded back to my bank but I get no answers. Therefore, I will dispute the charges through my bank. Be aware if you eat at this place because you don't know how often this is happening.

This location is disgusting and very unprofessional! I ordered a crispy chicken bowl with no sauce. They still drenched my food in white sauce. I returned to have my food remade only for the cashier to smile and advise that I left my card from my previous order! How do I leave my card if I gave it to you to pay. Cashier’s are suppose to swipe card pay for food, hand card back after transaction is done? I thought that’s how it works! Not me requesting my card back. I reordered my food the exact same way as before but making it very none to put no sauce on the food again!! They did not listen again and put the white sauce on the order a second time! Now at the point I’m told to pull around to the front so they can bring my food to me. After about what seems like 10 min I get out to go check on my food. I walk in and explained to the cashier my concern and frustration and instead of an apology the first thing is attitude. I ask for the manager and she too has an attitude. The only thing she was concerned about was if I want my money back or not. (This is the short version of my encounter)

I came in around 5 pm and it looked like there were only 2 customers in there including me. I understand if you are busy and don’t have enough staff, but you should at least let the customer you will be right with them. I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes and no one said anything. At first it wasn’t a big deal because I wasn’t sure what I wanted because it was my first time at a Pollo Tropical. I almost walked out. It just seems like the employees here don’t care about customer service because I wasn’t the only one that had issues. The food wasn’t bad, but I think I will try another location hopefully customer service is better there. I should have read the reviews before coming to this location

We purchased dinner here and the yellow rice was soogy, the rolls were hard, the chicken was dry. Maybe because they were about to close. That's still not an excuse because we paid for a service. That was a total waste of my husband time and our money. We ordered the family meal and hated that we had to serve that to our children. They didn't even eat it. They didn't even give us the black beans we ordered so we received 2 containers of white rice and a container of yellow rice.

First time here, so factor that in... If my experience was representative: the food was okay, the portion size was great, and the staff were very friendly.If you haven't been here, it reminds me of a Chipotle build-your-own experience but executed with a Wendy's or other fast food front end. You order your food at the front, they make it in back and you go back up front to get it. They give you your drink, you don't have access to the soda dispenser.The food was "fine". I probably need more visits to figure out the right combination. It very well might be that one could make their dish pretty tasty but I don't know for sure.I can't recommend this restaurant at this time.

What a shame they changed their flavor.The avicado salad. 9.99 d was terrible. The one who was devoted to the jousts was seen. It was more lettuce than avocado.The chicken cold and dry. No flavor.It's not the same anymore.
