These Guys are the best ever!!! I came to them with my 53 Mercury, the last year of the flat head motor. They pulled it out and rebuilt it to the best of their ability and put it back together. No easy task for anybody! At 500 miles it developed a problem with the water jacket and needed to be pulled back out. They stood tall behind their work and realized the block was not salvageable and I needed to replace the block. So I went on a mission to find a replacement. I found one in Georgia and put it in their hands. They spent countless hours preparing it and then put it back together at no cost to me except for the parts that they could not be reused from the original block. Then put it back in the car, again no charge. Very time consuming to say the least.Yes they had the car a long time so I tried to be patient. I could not be any happier with the process or the final results.I highly recommend Mark and Mike and the whole team for any project you have and know it will be done right. The proof is in the RESULTS!!! I HOPE THIS HELPS THOSE WHO READ THIS...

The price of the engine went from $3000 on the phone to almost $5000 before done. All the cylinders were full of water after a couple miles. Took it back, was told it was my fault, got it back six months later still full of water, they just let it sit full of water for six months then returned it like that.......

This is what I will say, when going down the path of spending thousands of dollars, you would want a warranty that has national backing, where you can choose different repair shops to critique work that has be done previously, if you feel that you are not satisfied with completed work, what my personal experience was I did not feel empowered going to the same place about the same problem and expecting different results, and again I am talking about spending north of 10,000 dollars, when spending that amount you will want dealer reassurances with loaner cars and a Natation wide warranty that you can network multiple places in and out of your area. And to close, this review tells no specifics only an opinion from a customer who would like to share the educational experience that I have learned, Please research and make informed choices.

I got robbed, the engine blew in 1200 miles and they told me it was my fault. Not sure how I'm gonna get to work, don't come here, they don't do a 0 star so I did 1, personally believe criminal charges are in order, but it's my word against theirs

Been here 3 times and every time the prices were increased on me. Quoted 20 paid 53 at pick up. Quoted 375 to balance a sbc rotating assembly and was charged 165 extra at time of pick up. Owner has 0 sympathy and is money hungry for sure. They will back up theyre price changes they don't care.

This was a bad choice from the begin to the end. Be very careful with them. Mark is the President and Mike is the Vice President. My vehicle sat there for two weeks. I called and Mike to check on the progress and he said, "Oh we do not have your Authorized Signed paper work." However I did sign it and gave them a check to start work two weeks prior. My two week to three week job turned into a nine week job. They did find an unexpected problem, but not a nine week problem. I heard every excuse from mechanic quit, got the wrong gaskets, didn't have enough gaskets, etc. When it should have been completed, they said I had a cracked oil filter housing. It wasn't cracked when it when in, but they charged me for it anyway. Nine weeks and over $5,000 later, the transmission lines had been cut because they were smashed against the battery bracket and poured all the fluid out the day after I picked it up. They have taken no responsibility for their workmanship errors. They lied to me on several occasions including asking Mike to speak to management and he told me he was just a salesman. The truth is he is the Vice President.

I did the tear down on a Chevy 400 that they did, that failed on break in because the #1 and #2 rod bearing caps were not torqued, and spun the bearings. Also the #624 heads that they had installed were cracked. So not good work.

My engine block and crankshaft was machined by them for a rebuild job. 1. They installed my new camshaft bearing with deep scuff marks, rendering them unserviceable. 2. After I delivered the block to them clean and rust free, they cleaned it again and failed to treat it properly. This resulted in rust in the hydraulic lifter bores and throughout the engine block. 3. They machined the crankshaft journals, resulting in inconsistent and out of tolerance specifications. I had to take it back to them a second time, and they still did not get it right. Rather than having the crank turned a third time, I ended up scraping the crank. They are either incompetent, careless, have poor machine tooling, or just obsessed with taking your money at any cost. Don't risk going there! I would not recommend them to anyone.

Had a really great experience with these guys they re-built My Mitsubishi turbo eclipse and for an amazing price which was unbeatable. I called around the city before I took my car to them and got good endorsements because I seen a few of the bad reviews and I had the owner sit down with me and verify what was going on with every single one of these bad reviews and they really were honest about every situation and I could tell that they weren’t BS’in me. All these bad reviews are about is just people that simply can’t afford to fix the cars that they have or the amount of work that needs to be done it’s just not financially feasible or the parts don’t exist anymore or they brought somebody else’s jacked up work to them and they weren’t able to help them. If there was a second where I felt like I couldn’t trust these guys there would’ve been no way I would’ve left my car with them but everything they explained to me was very understandable and made a lot of sense and the prices elsewhere was really expensive. They will be fully honest with you about everything even if it makes you mad because you can’t afford it or if they can’t get the parts or if they don’t want to do it. They are definitely not in the business to crank people up for unnecessary stuff because the build they did on my Mitsubishi was an amazing price, I was shocked and they are my number one mechanic now. Thanks Mark and Mike you guys are great. ??
