We are very pleased with the service and products purchased through Preferred Upgrades. The Simonton Impact windows give us security from storms and the Alside Mezzo's provide a classy presentation to the front of the house. The new doors, windows and siding are a great improvement and we thank Ray Ewing for making this process go so smoothly!

Received more window quotes than I’d like to admit given the cost and amount of windows. Went with Preferred Upgrades and was not disappointed. Felt Ray was the most straight forward and honest, and he didn’t try any high pressure tactics like the others. I was nervous about replacing 18 windows in a 100 year old home, but install only took two days and nothing was added on top of the quote.
Installation crew was on time and efficient, they cleaned everything up and even put all the blinds back up.
Superior service and quality, would highly recommend.

Highly recommend!! Everyone we worked with were extremely professional and helpful. Everything was on time and smooth. We are very happy with our new windows and 8 foot sliding door. They also did excellent work on our siding repairs, even going above and beyond and repairing a couple extra spots of trim around my garage.

I can not say enough how happy I am with the service I received. Ray was fantastic and you can tell that he values his customers. He stopped by almost every day. We had 53 windows replaced. The end results were beautiful. .

Our new windows are incredible!!! We have been looking for over a year to get new windows installed. We had so many of our neighbors have very bad experiences with different well-known companies from price to installation. I also had many different quotes and did not have a good feeling about any of them regardless of the pricing. Preferred Upgrades was recommended from the Office Manager of our Orthodontist. Ray Ewing was professional, polite and prompt from the first phone call until the end of installation.
Jason and Robert did an absolute phenomenal job and again, were prompt, professional, polite and cleaned up the entire project as though no construction was ever done. Robbie, the office manager, is fantastic! She handled everything and was such a pleasure to deal with.
We were told by Ray that the windows would take 6-8 weeks to come in and they came in before. We were told two days of installation, and it was done in 8 hours with a lunch break in one day! The price remained exactly the same with absolutely no changes as others in our neighborhood encountered. Absolutely incredible company and I will be having them do our door and columns in the front next. I cannot thank them enough!

Preferred Upgrades did a siding installation for me. The job went well and I'm happy with the results. Ray was always quick to address any issues or concerns I had during the process. I would definitely use them again for other projects.

I would like to share my experience with Ray at Preferred Upgrades. My 8ft glass door that he installed in 2019 needed some tweaking! And even though it was 4yrs later he was so nice over the phone and actually remembered my job. He sent a crew the following week and they were such nice guys and fixed the door when they came, even though I thought they were just coming to see what if anything would need to be done. I would definitely use this company again; the customer service can't be beat!

From the first meeting with Ray through the final inspection, the process went professionally, smoothly and each step was on-time and exactly as planned. The windows look great and we are totally pleased. Several friends recommended Preferred Upgrades and we will certainly do the same. Could not be happier.

Ray and his crew at Preferred Upgrades were fantastic from the get-go. Ray was great to communicate with and follow up. He showed up exactly when he said he would to measure the windows. He took care of the permit with the city (Duval don't make it easy!) and made sure that all of the paperwork was taken care of. And then his crew showed up early on the day they were supposed to and installed 8 windows into my condo. They did a great job -- the windows look great. All-in-all, I was extremely satisfied with Preferred Upgrades from start to finish and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning on replacing their windows.

This was a very emotional purchase for me. My mother recently passed at 90 and had needed windows for several years, however, she never wanted me to be burdened financially to take care of her. Ray showed up on time and made me feel like we had know each other for a long time. I needed someone that wouldn’t take advantage of me, I did shed a few tears, he was very kind. Ray explained the process and the time frame for install and was very knowledgeable answering all of my questions. Ray is just fantastic - very easy to work with and great communication. We had our sliding glass door replaced along with all the back windows on our home. The difference is just amazing. I didn't realize that not only would the windows look better (obviously) than our old builder-grade windows which were permanently stained after 20 years, but the noise and heat reduction were immediately noticeable! We got a GREAT product at a very competitive price - and the installers were very nice and knowledgeable too! HIGHLY recommend Ray and his crew.
