I always shop at Publix Riverside

I come here several times a week. It's a smaller Publix and doesn't have everything that a larger one has, but it typically has everything I need. Employees are always friendly and say hi. I'm sure it's policy for them to do it, because they all say it, but it's a nice touch. I like that I can get in and out quickly when I need to. The parking lot is tight, but I won't fault them for it. BOGOS are where it's at, that's how you save money when your there. Good location, I like the vibe of this store

I love going to Publix when I visit FL...my small hometown only has Krogers and they have the worst selection of food and rarely organic. Unfortunately, this Publix was really small, it had a very limited selection and A LOT of food expired this week when normally it would be good 6+months on the shelf. Lastly, I noticed that the majority of customers were non-white... so it's like this particular Publix just did the bare minimum if you compare it to the one I went to in Julington Creek yesterday. So that was disheartening.

Come on Publix, you (literally) have 10+people in the deli and one person working at the sub line who I think is purposely being slow because there is no way lol!!!! Wry young lady The setup around that area as well needs a little rethinking. There is no where to stand besides an aisle so everyone cuts in line on the other side. Maybe add another person... waiting 30 minutes for a sandwich is ridiculous with only a few people in line. Left after 20 minutes when no one acknowledged me standing there making eye contact waving my hands around basically (jk), I was cut in line and then I watched the slowest sandwich of all time being made. No offense, but I just remember the good old days of Publix and having this be the first one I've visited in 10 years made me really sad. Back to King Soopers!

Ordered my wedding cake here. Called a few days before to confirm the order everything was confirmed and seemed fine. The caterer accepted the cake as it was my wedding day. When it came time to cut the top tier I realized they had the cake flavor wrong. Then I see they had not the decorations I requested, but what I'm guessing are discontinued ones as you cannot even find those flowers on their website for cake decoration at this point. No one even contacted me to let me know the decorations I had requested were not being provided nor to ask if I had preferences on what they should be replaced with. The staff did not seem surprised when I called to complain about this a few days later. Acknowledged it even. Insanely disappointing. If you want a wedding cake done right DO NOT go to Publix. They did provide a refund, and a gift card to Olive Garden which isn't really an acceptable restitution but for any other bride who cares a lot more about her wedding day, I think it would be devastating.

Shell is an outstanding employee at this Publix location. She performs her job in the fresh produce section in an effective way. However, if customers like me need assistance, she will walk us to the exact location, rather than just point in the general direction. This excellent customer service is extremely rare in the current climate of human detachment.

It's one of the smaller Publix. The sandwich department is really slow and the closer you get to the front of the line the less sandwich makers there are so don't try to grab a sandwich during lunch. There's usually no parking, you have to drive around the lot sometimes for ten minutes to get a spot. It's worth the drive to the Publix on 17 in Ortega.

I place a order for a sandwich tray and a chocolate cover strawberry tray for 11 am and when I got neither one of my trays was ready. I call 2 days prior and called again a day before to make sure that the trays will be ready by 11 am. Which the associate guarantee that they will be ready. Once I got there to pick them up nothing was ready. I had to wait 45 to a hour for them to make my trays. So I was late setting up for my birthday. I was so disappointed and late to my own function

Smaller Publix with limited inventory. One of the only grocery stores close to the Downtown Jacksonville Area. Horrible parking situation. I recommend walking if you could. They accept EBT and have a coin star machine. I normally go to the one on Normandy. Go during the day, it can be a bit scary at night. Hence the security guard outside.

Probably the nastiest sub I've ever had from Publix was from this location today I don't think I'll ever return because of the young guy was rude and he didn't even hit the beat up and I had to ask him two or three times to put it back in the oven and he just acted like 2 seconds was going to make it right each time I don't think I will ever return to this Publix

The manager, Miss Vanessa, is one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my life. I am very comfortable and very pleased that I stopped here thank you miss Vanessa you've made me feel very welcome.

If I could give a zero star I will every time I go in there to the deli or bakery there is an issue. Deli some make subs the way you like and then others have a problem with it if I have it made one way then come back the next time I get charge more not fair. Let’s not talk about the bakery when ordering online it states pick up your cake cupcakes whatever is order pay the last two time I ordered they asked me to pay first then come get the cake like all people doesn’t steal and I’m 9 months pregnant I went to pay and the lady a caught an attitude when I asked for the cupcakes for my child class unacceptable.

Exactly what a public should be. Great staff, good food selection, and a wonderful lunch/deli area. Very clean store.

This store is so small you'd think they'd intelligently stock it. NO. They publish things on sale then don't have them in stock on the WEEKEND. The Quick Picks shopper said the THREE items I ordered the other day were out of stock and so were my backup choices but NOT on the website. And NOW the Shoppers think they're clever and don't tell you anything is out of stock...until AFTER they CHECK OUT and you have no time to select a replacement. And HOW are you OUT OF STOCK ON DIET COKE? But you can be sure they'll have stupid prepacked HUMMUS taking up 9 linear feet I kid you not. It also often has shopers smelling like pot. Very unpleasant. So now you get to take your life in your hands using I-95 to get to San Marco's. Nah, I'll order home delivery from Walmart, thanks.EDIT SUNDAY:#2 Sept 24, not even kidding NO SAUERKRAUT online to order. NOTHING. How is that even possible.EDIT, #1 UPDATE SEPT 2023:Here's what was out of stock today from MY "buy agains":RUSSETT POTATOES 5 LB BAG ARE YOU KIDDING ME?LIQUID EGG WHITES!!Diet CokeStouffers Chipped Beef & Spinach SouffleEntenmann's DonutsBakery Mini Apple Strudel and Turnover and BitesBoars Head SalamiSargento CheesesLays BBQ ChipsLays French Onion DipBreyer's Dixie Cups (REALLY?)Kosy Shack Tapioca & ChocolateCroissantsWheat Thins Low SaltJello Dark Choc Pudding snacksBreakstone Cottage CheeseRicotta CheeseDaisy Sour CreamLaughing Cow CheeseBoars Head Sour KrautPurdue Chicken Breast indiv wrappedFamous Amos Choc Chip CookiesItalian Sausage Publix brandMany Oikos yogurtsFresh Express Crunchy lettuceGreenwise Kale BagSKYR Coffee yogurtKings Sweet Rolls smaller sizesAND ABOUT TWENTY OTHER ITEMS I DON'T FEEL LIKE TYPING.DISGRACEFUL.
