If I could leave 0 stars I would! The lack of empathy and compassion for a patients time. The lack of professionalism and communication skills. My experience has left a nasty impression on me. I visited your location Tuesday with my 6 year old daughter. We where given lab work and asked to go ASAP, which is what we did. I understand it is better to go with an appointment, and that I could have a long wait. When I arrived I was told it would be between 30-60min wait which I was ok with. We where the ONLY walk in. About 30mins in my daughter needed to use the restroom and an employee came out to let her, no comment about us being a walk in or then running behind. I noticed it was moving very slowly but the employees made no acknowledgment of that. About 60mins in A woman came out to call another patient back and an older gentleman asked if they could turn the heat down (multiple patients where standing outside in the cold because it was boiling hot in the lobby) the employee got a nasty attitude with him and I decided to not ask about a wait time because I didn't want to receive her attitude. 90 mins in the same lady with the attitude came out and said they will no longer take walk in ( I had waited 90mins and was the only walk in). I approached her and said "excuse me" she shut the door on me, I knocked on the door and she opened it with an awful look on her face. I asked her if she would still be seeing my daughter since we had been there for 90 mins and she said I just said we are not seeing walk in anymore. I then said I would assume that meant any after us since I have set here for 90mins and she abruptly said no as she tried to shut the door on me again. I then became upset because I just set here all this time with a 6 year old and nobody addressed the issue of them closing early or running behind. She told me well I can't speak for them but I am telling you now. At that point I asked for the site manager and she brought his business card telling me he took lunch and will not be returning for the day. I walked to my car and called the site manage that very minute. He then tells me he is at location right now (thought he was gone for the day per his rude employee) but he still refuses to help me or address the situation in person. I would not have been upset if it would have been transparent and I still chose to wait. (They did have a paper taped facing the parking lot, but the window is tinted and it is hard to see when walking in. I saw it as I walked out of the business) But if you guys want to schedule 4 appointments every 10mins and ontop of that allow walk ins PLUS close early, you should have more then 1-2 people working and employees taking lunch 20mins before you guys "close" and you have an entire waiting room of people. This is very poor customer service and business practices!

Checked in upon arrival 3 minutes prior to my appointment to simply drop off a specimen. Ended up waiting for almost 1 hour for a testing agent to come and get me for my appointment. 17+ people waiting in the room and only two agents doing the testing.

One of the worse places to get your blood work done. Employees look like they don’t care to work there, people waiting hours just to find out they can’t be seen because no appointment, and their appointments are set back weeks. Do not go to Quest!!! Lab corp is wayyy better with everything. Terrible service would give zero stars if I could.

I signed up online yesterday I came in 5 minutes ahead of time today. logged in to their computer and it said there was no appointment for me. I have been here for over an hour waiting on the stand-by list. No one to talk to, no assistance. Small waiting room, TV telling you to talk to a customer service rep but there is no one out here. They are all hiding behind the locked door. Now, my name is no longer on the standby list. NOW, I am told there is no record of me checking in. I left angrily for the wasted time.

I had the joy of waiting 2.5 hours just to get labs drawn at the Mandarin site. I had checked the day before and zero appointments were available so I had no choice but to walk in. When I was finally called back and checked in, the phlebotomist was wearing a set of gloves at the computer during my check in, and proceeded to wear the same pair during my blood draw. She briefly scanned my best arm and went to the other arm that most do not have great success with. I kindly asked she go to the other arm and promptly got big huff and a lecture about how she has been doing this for 20 years. I apologized and let her proceed. She got the stick, filled 2 tubes and started having issues filling the third. She then began to dig around repeatedly in my antecubital trying to get the vacutainer to fill, which definitely hurt. I now have an actual cut at the venipunture site where she was sawing back and forth with the bevel of the needle. What you need to understand is that when people make a suggestion about their own bodies, listen to it without becoming defensive. They know themselves and their bodies better than anyone. I have been a hematology/Oncology RN for 15 years, and I know a thing or two about listening to your patient, very difficult IV's, and treating people with respect and consideration. Did I become defensive and drop all my qualifications on your? NO! I start IVs on the worst of the worst every day. I don't care if this person has been doing blood draws for whatever years- they need to go back to the basics of standard precautions, infection control, common courtesy, and patient care. Just because you can hit a vein with a needle for 20 years doesn't mean you a good care provider. You need to step back and scrutinize your practice and your manners, I promise you that.

I gave a 5 star rating only because of the helpfulness and kindness of the technician who worked with me. She deserves a huge raise. Otherwise, the scheduling was a nightmare. I made 2 appts but at the last minute Quest sent an email changing my appt and giving me a different QR Code. Terrible thing to do since Quest changed the spot to am earlier time. Naturally, I was late Quest needs improvement

This place is awful as the stuff is extremely slow, they were taking the customer fire more than 15 minutes and all schedule was behind. I was in standby list for almost 2 hours and ... nothing. Why do you say you accept walk-ins then??? It's ridiculous.

Waited for about an hour and a half as a walk in to get blood drawn. Was never informed that they wouldn’t be able to get people in and then kicked out right at 3:30 with 3 other people. Very rude service and they need better communication.

I was really impressed with this location. Super clean and staff was great. I am a hard stick and Debbie was so patient and kind. She actually only had to stick me once. I will definetly be using this location going forward. Thank you for great caring service!

This location is very clean. Though appointment times are often booked, Walk in time frame for service was very reasonable. The staff is kind and professional.

Went to the quest on San Jose and the “remodel is “AWFUL”!!! The waiting room is so small you practically are sitting on top of each other. There is a locked door with no bell or buzzer to reach an actual person. There used to be access to rest room but not anymore it’s behind the locked door, without access to patients or anyway to ask. There is also no room to move a wheel chair within waiting room, which I’d think was a regulatory issue of sorts. Perhaps one might fit, but certainly not two. Once I got back I spoke with phlebotomist about my concerns and she was let’s say less than understanding, just telling me how short staffed they were. I told her a customer was not feeling well and had no way to ask for help, her response “we don’t do that” I said “”what help people”, and she responded “no we don’t”. I asked what if 911 needs to be called and she responded that “ she’s not allowed to call 911”, I said so “you’d just watch someone in distress? “ she informed me someone else would need to call 911…. I have been going to this site for years ever three months and doubt I’ll be back. Lab core probably treats their customers a bit better.
