As a general rule, I would rate Racetrac highly. However for the third time in about the past 3 to 4 weeks, this 24 hour convince store was closed at 11:35 p.m. on Oct. 15/ 2024. The other 2 closures were at about the same time , although I have no exact date and time. I am sure the time was close to the 11:30 to 12:00 on each occasion because I had just picked my son up from work each time.
This visit was different because my son tried to get the clerk's attention by tapping on the door with a coin. The clerk looked up at him but did not acknowledge him in any way and quickly made their way to the back room.
If this store must close on a regular basis for cleaning or some other reasons, I think further into the night/early morning hours would be more appropriate. A sign of some kind announcing the length of time that the store must close would also be helpful.

Since I haven't spoken with management about my continued experience I don't feel that it would be fair to share my thoughts until I do. All involved are human beings and there could be a reason for the experience. I will post my findings as soon as the conversation is had

Ladies restroom horrible.handucap stall duct tape keeping door closed. 1stall piss all over floor and toilet. Toilet won't flush. Other stall toilet paper all over floor, toilet won't flush. You have a door right by the restrooms but it is locked!!!????? Three employees working not very busy. One should be checking on the restrooms better. Will not be back!!!!

The blonde GM that has been there lately is rude as hell. I'm an Uber driver and have the option to go anywhere, but since they're close I've been going there for over a year, 5-6 days a week and spend at minimum $40 a day. I can and have taken my $800 a month elsewhere. I believe her name is Bonnie. Her personality stinks. She's not friendly to customers. She frowns and rushed you out the store. I can't imagine that this is how you want to run your business. As a manager my whole life until I chose to give it up, I would have never treated people, customers, the way she does. I wouldn't have kept my job very long. I would love to continue to take my business there but can't spend my money where I don't feel welcome or appreciated. My family will be taking their business elsewhere as well. Circle K is just right down the street. Gas is cheaper as well as cheaper drinks. I continued to spend my money there because the employees were great. I can definitely tell how employee morale has gone down. Someone needs to make some changes or at least send her to customer service training. Please send her on her happy way. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Not the gas station to stop to. Prices are average so that's not a con but be wary of using any machine. Air machine does not work, there's no signage stating use at your own risk and they do not give refunds for faulty machines. I was told to just bite the bullet essentially and they don't do anything about it. A scam tactic yes, but aggravating nonetheless.

My #1 complaint is about the blond woman that's been there in the mornings her name is Bonnie. I moved to Jacksonville 9 months ago and stay right down the road and go into that store daily and each time is $20-40. Then this lady that's there now showed up and is very rude and trying to rush people out of the store.
I was in there I believe it was Friday morning and went and got a fountain drink and was getting gas and cigarettes as well, I didn't even get my drink sat down and didn't get a will there be anything else just a $1.08 from her mouth.
She is very rude and ugly to people.
I will take my money elsewhere where people treat you better. The Circle K up the street would love my money.

Closed when they should be open store lost a lot of money as I was standing watching the employee watching and still not unlocking the door been here for 30 minutes and she just in there doors locked

So just one more one star rating for this undesirable location. I work nights when I'm out in this area. This is the third time that I've been to this location where the bathrooms have been out of order or closed or something. This is also the third time that the staff has been rude when asked about the bathrooms. I've been to many different Racetrack locations and understand that sometimes a bathroom has to be closed so it can be cleaned. There's no reason that a bathroom should be closed at 5:00 in the afternoon and then again at 7:00 or closed from 7:00 until whenever they decide to Lock the doors for the night which seems to be a "regular routine" for this place that is supposed to be 24 hrs. I've been here at different times between early evening to after midnight and it's the same thing. The store appeared to be clean, but I couldn't tell you about the bathrooms because I've never been in them. The staff's attitude definitely needs to change, and I can't say I've ever seen anybody in management of any kind in this store. I've asked for a manager in the past and have been told that none was available. Tonight I called corporate to lodge a complaint. Hopefully your area supervisor will get a handle on this. 2.5 stars on their Google profile is not a very good reputation. Honestly if I could rate them less than 1 star I would.
Going back through the reviews it looks like this has been an ongoing problem for over 2 years. Doesn't seem as if the operations supervisor is doing their job either.
