Reads managed my family's move from NE Florida to St. Charles, IL. The entire process from beginning to end was flawless! Jackie and Allison were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient on all things administrative (estimating, scheduling, billing); the packing crew knew what they were doing, were efficient and careful with our possessions, asked questions to be sure they knew what would go where, and they were polite and friendly (Lucas, Ryan, Cian, Sean); the team loading the truck worked their butts off putting all the boxes on the truck and were careful with handling everything (Ron, Camden), and the cross-country team took good care of our items, kept us updated on the journey, showed up exactly when they said they would, and worked hard unloading the truck and putting everything exactly where we wanted/needed it (Ron, Q, and one other gentleman). Nothing was damaged or missing, and they took care to not mark up walls or floors in the new place. Thank you, Brad and team!!

These guys moved me more than I can. They stay on schedule. They help me stay on schedule. Very personabal, polight, & respectful. Even to each other. This is back breaking work, God keeps them rollin'
Omg the Pod we had was a problem for us. It wasn't for them. I would have been able to All that we had in there and so neatly.

We have used Reads several times now for moving from one house to another and we have been more than pleased each time. From the ladies you speak to set up appointments , to the movers themself being on time , very organized , very polite and especially careful with all of our belongings! There is no one else we trust to move our cherished items and we are so thankful for all you have helped us with during our many moves! I would highly recommend this company!

I wish I could give zero stars. If you’re active duty and get assigned this moving company… just move your belongings yourself.
I packed up my house last July and I packed it in a certain way since I was deploying immediately upon arriving in WA.
They came a day before loading the truck to “inventory” my belongings which turned into them repacking everything. During the repacking process I was told next time I move “just let us do it” bc my packing was apparently inadequate. (I have moved several times throughout my life and not once have I ever broken anything during a move).
Fast forward to coming home from my first deployment and moving in to my home in WA. I was so excited to unpack my house until I started opening boxes. It was evident they don’t care and they lack professionalism. Books were bent, dishes broken, entertainment stand broken beyond repair, etc etc, oh and my flat screen tv I’ve only had for a little over a year…broken as well since they did not pack the tv with ANY protective measures. I tore down most of my furniture for the move but they felt it was necessary to take some things apart further… I still have yet to find ANY of the hardware to put some of my furniture back together.
Seeing how they handled my belongings is a real slap in the face. Moving across the country and being in the military is stressful enough as it is without having “professionals” disrespect you and your belongings. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for movers.

Great Work
The Reads Moving Company moved us in just three days with a three-person crew. We’ve moved with other companies more than five times over the past 20 years, and this team was by far the most professional, fast, and efficient. Huge thanks to Ron, Rick, and Cameron!

5 stars for Read’s Moving Systems and their amazing team. All of the ladies I spoke with were understanding, patient and beyond helpful. The kind gentlemen who picked up my household goods were also amazing, as they worked efficiently and professionally. Will definitely be recommending this company to friends and family! 😌

Nate, Brian, and team did a GREAT job on our door-to-door move from Valdosta to Tampa. I think we got a “unicorn” military move. They were punctual, extremely professional, kind, and handled our things with care. Nothing broke or was lost, timelines were honored, and my husband noted that in 20+ years of military moves, he had never seen such a detailed inventory as the one we had. Great experience for which we are extra grateful knowing this is our last one (retirement on the horizon). Thanks again to Nate, Brian, and team for all the hard work.

I would NOT use this company. Very unprofessional and they don’t care about or respect your stuff.
We paid them 7 thousand dollars to move out of state. They showed up for pickup with a truck that was too small for our load. Our stuff was allegedly repacked and most likely damaged in the process.
They showed up with only 2 guys upon delivery to unload our entire house load and were here into the night.
We had multiple broken and damaged items upon delivery. The claims process is a joke and they will only pay you 60 cents a pound if you don’t pay for extra insurance. They smashed the headboard of our king bed that was part of a 6 thousand dollar bedroom set and they want to give us 54 bucks for the damage.
The driver greets you professionally and the crew quickly gets sloppy and careless with your stuff and they obviously don’t take care of it between pickup and delivery.

Arrived around 9am for a delivery of 15k INTO their on-site storage. Reason for my late arrival was I had to deliver the customer’s Jeep to his business office, the morning of. Lady at the front desk was one of the rudest,demanding, micro-managing people I have ever laid eyes on. They sent me about 1/4mi. down the road to their “other” warehouse, and,of course, we did not receive the royal treatment here, either. They wanted us to call off numbers and then chose to call them off themselves. I forgot how rude ppl in Florida are. Never assume that u will receive “Southern Hospitality” just because u are in the south.

Terry , shawty (that’s what they call him) Keith is an awesome team who came out and did an amazing job. Even though majority of the items are already packed the others they took care of our stuff with ease .Terry such an amazing leader insured our fragile things were safely put into the crates and our rest of stuff was carefully packed/wrapped up. Terry informed us about everything that needs to be done which we appreciated.Much appreciated to these three men
