Red Oak Logistics are without a doubt the most ignorant people I have ever meet in logistics. With any luck Home Depot can find someone else to effectively and efficiently cross dock products for them in the Jacksonville area. These people do not deserve to be in business
They will not confirm appointments in writing ….. giving them all the power to be in control. Take freight here at your own risk. Better get layover built into your contract

Called in for receiving hours was told by a nice lady hours were from 7am to 3pm. She asked when my appointment was, and I told her 130pm. She then told me that with the product I was bringing in, I could come in early, and they would work me in and unload early. Come in at 815 am. only to be told I had to wait until appointment time. Then, after they did some checking, they would unload me after they finished with 1 truck. Forklift drivers here are very unprofessional. If you call in, make sure you get the name of who you talked to that said you could come in early.

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend. This place started off warm and welcoming.. but the experience definitely didn’t end like that. I was training for about a week doing truck paperwork. Carol was extremely unpleasant and rude! Within the week I was there training was extremely hard because when making any minor mistake I was talked about instead of being reconstructed in a positive manner. The boss even told me (Marion) that he has went through so many people at the job and nobody tends too last and I see why. I also seen management laughing at me. The people in the office are very rude people. I watched a lady tell a new coworker that she “ hasn’t seen nasty yet “ when she mistakenly used the office bathroom. On my first day the boss kept asking me “ am I coming back “ “ Which made me a little clueless but I see why nobody ever stays. Carol just needs to be more understanding of mistakes when new employees come in & there management can be more pleasant of new employees. The office bathrooms are very nice and the employee bathrooms are VERY NASTY! this place doesn’t care much about workers.

Closed over the weekend. Over night Parking for a few trucks outside of the gate just pull off to one side or the other. The gates were opened at 6:30 the next morning when I woke up. Do not drive into the gate when it opens get out and walk to the receiving door. Had me unloaded within 15 minutes. No restrooms that I seen. But very fast.

This place is pretty tight to get into with a 53' trailer and full size rig. But it's doable. The unloading wasn't too long but there was product left behind because the last shipper put it on there and it wasn't meant for them. So took forever to work out .

We didn't have any issues. It went smoothly, and pretty fast. The only thing they had a porta potty but it was locked. So there wasn't anywhere to use the restroom. I think everyone should at least have a porta potty available. Truck drivers are on such a strict time frame they can't constantly stop and they don't have time to waste so it would be helpful to at least have a porta potty to be able to run into them get back into the truck and be on the way.

Lots of room to get into the easy, wide docks. Fast unload, which is great because you cant be in the truck while they unload you.

Get there early. Or plan to get there early the gates close at 3 no exception. The appointment clerk is crazy firm on the time
