I changed to this pharmacy due to Winn Dixie (which I had gone to for years) closing and ever since, I've had trouble finding a good pharmacy. Mr. TJ the pharmacist was very kind and filled all of my prescriptions without any issues. The reason I am now leaving a bad review and chose to go to a different pharmacy, which I have the legal right to do as a patient, is because of his pharmacy tech. The older, Asian female, name is "Lordis"but her attitude is the most unprofessional I've ever experienced other than when I gave birth and one of the nurses who was an immigrant, likely from the same origin of this pharmacy TECH. This woman has spoken to me with disdain from the moment I started coming here when I've had to deal with her. TJ and his other staff have been absolutely fantastic. One day, in fact the last time I came in I came in around 9:30 a.m. The hours show that they open at 9:00 and close at 6:00. When I walked up to the counter she rolled her eyes and told me that they just opened and are just getting the computers running and that there are customers ahead of me that have to be taken care of. Now mind you I was the only person in there. Anyone with common sense would likely get there a little earlier than the opening time to get things ready especially starting the computers. If your hours say from 9:00 to 6:00 that means customers are welcome to come in from 9:00 to 6:00. When I have a 30-day supply of medication and I'm not just talking about controlled substances here, I'm talking about other medications that I depend on. When that 30-day mark hits if I am forced to wait I am without my medication especially if there are 31 days in a month. That being said, she had me sit in the waiting room for close to 45 minutes knowing that my medication was ready and waiting in a bag and all she had to do was ring me up but she did this maliciously. I told her I wasn't going to come back so this was her only option to give me some sort of "payback" in her eyes. What really sealed the deal was whenever I called several days ago to ask to speak to TJ in regards to a question I had about an interaction between some medications. Mind you I am a nurse myself. She told me that TJ wasn't in and she was unsure of when he was going to come back. She told me that she " manages the place" so I asked her if she is a pharmacist or if she's a pharmacy tech and if she could answer these questions for me. She very rudely said " I am only a pharmacy tech however I still manage this place and you are not the only patient we are thinking of so you will have to call back". TJ, I really hope that you're reading these because the only negative reviews you have are literally about this pharmacy tech. I don't care how long you've known her, how long you've worked with her. She is a dime a dozen. There are thousands of other pharmacy techs that could replace her and not only replace her but probably run circles around her with a smile on their face and treat your patients much better than what she does. I see that one of the other reviews mentioned something of her culture and that possibly playing a role. And I can believe that might be true, again based on my experience in healthcare as a nurse and there being a certain group of women that have no empathy, smart mouths, and think that they can get away with talking to people any which way they feel like. Well, just like pharmacy techs, nurses, doctors, we are all a dime a dozen and that is why I have chosen a different pharmacy. One where I was greeted with kindness, without any judgment. Understanding of my disease which is multiple sclerosis, a deteriorating neurological disease that could put me in an early grave or at the very best outcome in a wheelchair. Healthcare in general needs a complete overhaul and people like your female pharmacy tech needs to be fired and not only forced to not be able to work with anyone in healthcare, but not work with the public at all for that matter. She is

Ricker Pharmacy is my ABSOLUTE go to! My daughter is medically complex requiring unique and very expensive medications to maintain a good quality of life. Dr. Patel and his staff truly work hard to ensure she and I have our meds and when issues arise, they are super diligent in getting them resolved as quickly as possible. Shawn, Lordes and Jose are the always very kind, patient and professional, giving me the best customer service experience with every visit. I'm so grateful they are serving in my community! Thanks guys!

This place has the rudest lady that I have ever met. She's very disrespectful. Talks to people any way she wishes to do so. So miserable.. if she doesn't like America or her job maybe she would be happier going back to her country. She shouldn't be around the public at all. I pray for her that she may find happiness. What surprised me more the manager let's her get by with it. It's not like they have a lot of business where she can chase them off. I guess they have never gotten the word yet that be nice to costumers. Maybe the business would grow if so.

I have never been in a pharmacy where the woman that works there not only racist but talks to people very disrespectful. She shouldn't be working out in public especially in a pharmacy. From day one I've kept my mouth closed and ignored it. She of course tried to make it about the medicine which had nothing to do with it. Not only am I'm disabled but also mental condition and everytime I went in there was an horrible experience just because of the way she talks to people

I have been using Ricker Pharmacy since they opened. I am greeted by my name when I walk in. All the staff especially TJ and Miss Lourdes always treat me with respect and can't answer any questions about my medications that I am picking up. If you're not using Ricker Pharmacy I would suggest that you do, it's what we lost when the big pharmacies opened up and we need more private owned businesses in our neighborhood and in our cities.

Very helpful and knowledgeable where others fell short, They were able to order a drug my dog desperately needed where as their competitors Publix and Walgreen's said they could not order it. They are also not of fan of BIG PHARM and trying to fight for us little people.

Thank you TJ for opening Ricker Pharmacy.
