I have been using Kevin for a year now. He never fails to amaze me with his work. I send him a picture of what I’m thinking about and he takes that picture, adds his creativity and my nails come out fabulous. If you aren’t getting Kevin to do your nails, you are missing out!

I had such a GREAT time with Kevin! I got an acrylic full set with French tip chrome on every nail and a seashell party nail. Anywhere else this would have taken 2.5 hours MINIMUM. I was in and out with 2 hours, and the quickness did NOT deter his precision. I had gone here before a year ago and was apprehensive, but after hearing they hired a complete new staff I tried it and so glad I did. ASK FOR KEVIN! He truly is the best

I moved to Riverside in September 2023 and I finally found the right place and person to get my nails right every time! I request Kevin, he is personable, and always meets my needs. Sometimes I don’t have a lot of time, and he can customize my mani pedi combo to fit the time I have. Other times like today, I can let him take his time and enjoy the relaxing experience! My dip manicure with pink and white hombre lasts 3-4 weeks and looks impeccable! My pedicure is always the best treat for my tired feet and leg massage, the bomb. Do yourself a favor and change to this spa…. I hope you win the technician lottery and find Kevin open!

Let me start by saying I don’t get pedis often, but I work on my feet so every once in awhile I splurge. I’ve been here a few times with relatively positive experience except this last. I called ahead to ask if a pedi was available they said yes come. I got a gentleman who rushed me in, didn’t let me pick a color off the wall. He started cutting my cuticles before letting my feet soak and cut me on two different toes. He didn’t give me an option to choose which pedi I wanted and just gave me the cheapest option. I was finished before any of the other people who were already getting their nails done when I started. It’s been just over two weeks and most of my polish is worn off already. I don’t have a ton of extra income for this kind of thing, so when I do spend the money I want a nice experience. I hate to write a bad review but I felt it was a waste of money and won’t be going back.

My nail tech was out of town and I needed a repair in a hurry. Three ladies huddled around my nails, roasted me for how long they were, and then ruined my whole set. By the time I walked out all my nails were chunky and different shapes and sizes.
I paid and left without even getting polish.

If you ever saw the movie “ Giant” regarding hair salon discrimination against Mexicans it is live and well at Riverside Nail Salon!! This time it is racist behavior by the workers who are Asians but also depend on a diverse clientele to include Blacks!!
I observed this behavior during the absence of the owners; when later reported they expressed their concern and such behavior wasn’t and wouldn’t be tolerated!!
Well guess what it didn’t take!!
Obviously these employees don’t feel their racist behavior would cause any dismissals!!!

I had a terrible experience at Riverside Nails & Spa today. I requested a removal for my toes from the prior set & the nail "technician" proceeded to start my new set without the removal which she applied the acrylic over the old set. As you can see, the old nail is visible through the new set. Once I noticed this I expressed it to the woman and she told me "That's because of the old set you had only cut down you didn't want to pay more for removal." I never told her or anyone how much I did or didn't want to pay so that was made up.. it goes to show she did the service however she wanted to. I was yelled at and laughed at by several of the workers while trying to explain why I didn't want to pay full price for my services. They only took off $4 of my services! This was not my first bad experience here but it sure is my last. I do not recommend this salon at all. Customer service, quality of the products used & the entire vibe of the salon is not worth the price. Save your time & go spend your hard earned money somewhere that will appreciate your service, respect your wishes & take pride in their work and how they treat their paying customers!

Went on a busy day I understand that but honestly the customer service was not great and that doesn’t excuse poor service . My nails just don’t even look nice the design I showed and what I got are two different things and on top of that it’s just messy looking. My nails look like if I had tried to do them myself and even then I think I would’ve done a better job. I went in for a full set and a classic pedicure. My full set was 52 dollars to look like a hot mess that I’m going home to remove after just leaving this nail salon. Choose your design wisely and where you go as well.

I had a negative experience at Riverside Nail Salon. My nail tech was on vacation, so I went to a different place. When I arrived, I was not welcomed and was stared at for a few minutes and I felt very uncomfortible. I requested a fill-in and was seated and serviced immediately. However, the lady who worked on my nails was unprofessional and rude. She asked me questions but got frustrated when I didn't understand and yelled at me. I told her I would leave if I wasn't a good fit. The only thing I asked for was a gel polish fill-in. Another staff male member came over and started yelling, saying I should stay because she knew what she was doing…. The salon was unprofessional, and as a licensed nail technician, I find it disgusting that they stored their products in a dip container and an Altoids box.
