This is a good sized park with lots of room to do different activities or host festivals. There are 2 different playground sections. However, the equipment is starting to get worn out. It is conveniently right off of I-95 making it easily accessible.

Very serene. Lots of homeless and a slight urine smell

Needs a bathroom but that is probably not something that can be done with the homeless problem we have down town

A quant park for walking and being outside. Has a big green field that is wringed by a sidewalk with the river and memorial statute at one end and 5 point area on the other.

For over a year my Tai Chi class has been at this venue. It is waterfront and beautiful with lots of shade and usually a nice breeze off water. The only bad side is that it is a overnight sleeping area for homeless who dont pick up their trash. There are multiple trash receptacles and even poop bags for pets.

Seemed like a nice place to sit by the water and watch the ducks. We were checking out the "unfinished" skatepark from our of town but there's no where to park yet so we skated through this park to go see it. Sidewalk cracks were large so they caught our wheels. There is tons of shade from the trees around.

Beautiful ocean or river view I should say, open field it's definitely peaceful. I've seen some fisher as myself I brought the kids to run around, there is no kid park for kids but if you want to clear your mind think or plan ideas, feel like just getting away from people then stop by walk to the water and release or find your peace and there's also a running/walking circle path, and it's dog friendly and also have picnics. If it had food trucks AND a little water sprinkler park for kids it would be 5 Stars. But beggers can't be choosers, Enjoy the park though it's still nice.

Actually, it was John Gorrie Small Dog Park on College St.
Dog-friendliness: Super wonderful and shady. BUT! Dogs & feet get very dirty. Not grassy. My toy poodle was able to go thru to large dog area on 2 separate visits ?

Good place to go. The playground needs work, but overall, my kid likes it. The duck pound is nice as well but really needs to be cleaned. The algae is taken over the whole thing. Overall, nice and shady place to go.
Playground: Needs work. Some wd40 on everything. But it's okay
Dog-friendliness: Lots of room for dogs.
Picnic area: Lots of places to have a picnic at.

I used to live right up the street from the park its always been quiet and a safe place.
Its just a walk away from the bars if you need a moment to recenter. It in the shade during the day. The people are always cordial and kind.
All these things make it a treat retreat from the city or the heat.
Playground: Its shaded and mulched. Right across the street from a church and just down the street for fivepoint shopping and entertainment
Dog-friendliness: There is a dog park behind the general park with duck pond and playground. Its on the Roselle Street Side.
