Johnny at San Jose Television was of great help to me in researching and suggesting alternatives for an old Sony Trinitron TV tuner, which is no longer available. Despite this not generating any sale for them, Johnny went out of his way to explain work-around possibilities. This shop gets high marks for being knowledgeable, helpful and friendly!

who looses a remote.. well moving, stuff happens.. San Jose was so helpful whe i called from out of town. They made extra sure the right model was recommended. Then when it would have been cheaper for me to buy locally avoiding shipping, he guided me. I appreciate the extra mile. Highly recommend w/ a mindset to customer welfare, where would be better?

SCAM!! CON ARTISTS!! DO NOT take your TV here. They'll charge you $50 to "look" at it, then charge you $450 to "fix" your $300 TV in hopes that you'll just leave it with them to "dispose" of. But here's their scam secret: They won't dispose of your TV at all. They'll repair it for less than $100 and then sell it in their store for profit ($200 or so). So in reality all they do is STEAL people TV's and sell for profit. Those "great" reviews you see are from their lying friends and family. Those 4 & 5-star reviews are NOT REAL. Just another way to lure you in as part of their con. RUN AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

I recently contacted Sony about an issue I had with a Sony tv that was only 3.5 years old and they I formed me to contact San Jose TV (authorized Sony dealer) which I did. After a conservation with Johnny and describing the issue with my tv, he informed me that it was not repairable. I am Sony believer so I talked to Johnny about purchasing another Sony and which tv he would recommend so I purchased the one he recommended. I was not disappointed with the price or the tv I purchased. I highly recommend San Jose TV for your next purchase. Very thoughtful and knowledgeable about Sony tvs. you can't go wrong with them. Had I know about them earlier I would have purchased my other tv from them. Use your small businesses! They are more knowledgeable when it comes to specializing! Thanks San JoseTV for a great purchase! Rickey Johnson

Never again!!!! It’s cheaper to buy a new television from the pawn shop or brand new. They required a 50 non refundable deposit, which we were okay with paying. They then called us back saying what the problem was and how much money it would be to fix. We agreed even though we could have purchase a new television with the price quoted. Then they call us back with, they can’t fix the tv and that we could keep the piece that they ordered and “THOUGHT” would fix the tv........how is that going to help us. I honestly believe they have no idea what they are doing and we paid someone 50 bucks to say your tv is broke. I see good reviews that’s why we chose this company thinking we would be treated fair. I was wrong and clearly they don’t care.

We recently purchased a 65" smart TV from SJ TV, having used them for TV repair and service for many years. Their pricing was around the same as a big box and they are an approved Sony dealer. They provided setup for a reasonable fee and are available when you need them. In our experience, these folks are competent and trustworthy both for repair and service and as a new TV authorized dealer.

RUN AWAY!! DO NOT BRING YOUR TV HERE! They don't "fix" TV's...they "'STEAL" TV's, and this is how they con you: They charge around $50 - $85 just to "look" at your TV. Then they'll call you and say it's going to cost $250 - $500 just to replace a mysterious part. When you say no, then they'll offer to "dispose" of the TV for you. But if you happen to walk back in the following week, you'll see your TV up there for sale for $225 - $300. Mind you, they said it would cost $500 to fix, right? They don't expect you to return, so you'll never know that they stole your TV. Their CON JOB is to keep your TV and sell it for their profit. There's no way it costs $500 to fix a $400 TV. They're not in the TV repair business, they're in the TV THEFT business. *BE WARNED!! DO NOT BRING YOUR TV TO SAN JOSE TV THIEVES!! Keep reporting them to the BBB (Better Business Bureau)!

Mr. Crews Stayed on the phone with me for several minutes and worked with me to get my TV back in order. He has done this before. He is a rare businessman because he gives away his time freely. I will buy all my TVs from San Jose TV.
