It’s a big place with lots to see. I’ve found odds and ends type things here that I’ve needed here. They have Decent prices. You definitely need to watch expiration dates on the food items.

Some bargains like always. Absolute fire hazard again. If you are handicapped DO NOT GO THERE. If there was an emergency ailes are blocked and fire exits are blocked. There is a lot of inventory that should be thrown away and unloaded pallets to be put up. This is Jacksonvilles version of The Hills Have Eyes.

Okay cuz I'm literally reading the reviews here: It is not a "pretty store" It IS organized, just no signs for it. The value is great And the discounts on literally everything slap so hard. Most stuff here comes in because big box stores are whiney about there being a squished corner on the edge of the box. Nothing to discount the quality of the item. Long time shopper and patron. It's one of the unsung jewels of Jacksonville.

Shop is great fun... like a hoarders wet dream! Five stars we don't clean we don't dust we don't polish we just pile stuff in here it's your job to go through the aisles of piles. You are sure to find just exactly some things you need but didn't know you needed and what grade deals you'll find too!

Good prices, disrespectful service. Grabbed two items off $2.00 mark down rack...upon checking out cashier asked next cashier(older, short, gray hair, pony tail with glasses No name tags)for the price. She quoted $5 each, I corrected her, at which time she stated they don't have a $2 rack. The younger cashier was very apologetic. However, the older one was rude and blatantly disrespectful and nonchalant. That triggered a sincere sense of being called a liar. I attempted to get Mr. Shep's attention but he was conducting business behind another counter. Upon my return to the register I overheard her tell the younger cashier that they only had five dollar buggies and racks and she don't know what rack I was talking about. I intervened by walking to the $2 rack showing her the sign and grabbing other items like the ones I'd had, placed them on the counter and politely told her to mark and place them where they belonged so that no one else would feel like they were being deemed dishonest. Her Eyes bucked, head dropped, never uttering a single word of apology. Mind you my purchase was $129 plus... I guess I really couldn't afford to spend an additional $10.00. Let me add that Id just spoken with Mr. Shepp on my way to the register, informing him that my family had been loyal customers since he began off Ellis Road.Spoke too soon

Nice place to find hidden treasures. New and used items. This store is a cross between big box and thrift store with a little Sandford and Son thrown in.

Love Shep's! People and staff are always nice and helpful too! There is great bargains to find there! You cannot go in for a few minutes. You need to spend some time to look around and find so great deals! I always do! Love This Store!!

Great way to find cheap stuff. Be careful buying food though. My only thing is, the store feels really dirty.

You can find some really cool cheap nostalgic tech gear and gadgets! They even have some newer pc and cellphone accessories. I did see a ATX power adapter for a Desktop PC Build. I knew what I wanted, so I immediately headed towards the cellular accessories and cables. Scored big time for no more than $2! ? ?? Cashier and Associates provided Great Customer Service. I’m Very Satisfied!

Absolutely disgusting place. I would never buy anything from here. It’s super cluttered, a definite fire hazard. I witnessed roaches crawl over medicine. A lot of food is several years old, moldy, meats are green. Absolutely gut wrenching. This is a store, not a trap house down Moncrief. After I left the store, empty handed and disgusted, I went home, straight to the shower. The place needs to be shut down. I would be embarrassed to even work at this dump. On the other hand, I’d like to see what Gordon Ramsay would have to say about this place.

I averaged it...I could rate Sheps 5 star and 1 star depending what you need and how you can find it. Deals are absolutely great. But you need to know what you're buying...out dated, a knock-off, or excellent deal at a good price. Many aisles are organized according to subject matter, others remind you of digging for treasure.Again you need to know your prices, and be discerning.

This place is hit and miss. I don't think there is anything you can't find here. Walking in the door there was even a gown hanging from the ceiling. You have to watch their pricing. 100' of nylon rope you can pick up at Home Depot for $25. They had marked $122. Off name brand diapers for $25. Yet maybe dawn sanitizer wipes $1.49. Their furniture seemed to be extra high as well. But wall plates for electric outlets .50 a pc. It's cray pricing.

This place has a bit of everything...lol. Don't expect retail quality. Most items are slightly damaged or well beyond "best if used by" date. Pricing is low for these items. They have some new or nearly new things and this pricing is not that good. Love shopping here for bargains and that hard to find part.
