For 37 years our favorite hardware store! They are always on top of things and if they don't have it they can direct you!Many times they have just given me things to help me finish a project, not because I couldn't pay but just because they wanted to see me succeed in my project! Who does this anymore today, not anyone else I do business with!! This is just an awesome family run business that makes us proud to be a part of the Northside community!! I can promise you stop by they will go above and beyond to try to help you out!And best of all you will make a few new friends

Friendly and knowledgeable folks, ordered an exterior door recently with specific specks that I needed. Not only did I get the assistance I needed but every question I had was answered patiently. Door is in and looks great with outstanding function. No matter your project, no matter how small or if your building a new home, Shumans is a great resource and a heck of a lot friendlier than any box store! Drop in you'll see what I mean, good people!

A shopping guys kind of place. Almost anything you need is here. Good lumber selection also. All workers were very helpful , courteous and friendly. Pricing is competitive with big box locations. Definitely will return.

Always check here before going to the big box stores and you will probablysave some money. Also, the ease of loading materials into your truck is the best. These are great people. Family run and operated.

Shuman's is an unknown Jewel to many in Jacksonville (especially if you live south of the St. Johns river). If you are a tradesman you will appreciate the great service and the great prices. They have a mega selection of lumber products like Baseboard and Quarter-round on hand as well as dozens of other Trim moldings. Not only do they have a great selection they also have excellent service. when I make a purchase there is always someone waiting to pick my order and load it on my truck. Lumber is not all they have either. You will find Plumbing supplies, Garden supplies, Blades and Accessories for your tools as well as lite duty tools, Pool Chlorine (At great prices) and so much more. It is so refreshing to enter this Hardware / Lumber supply store and always be greeted with a smile. You will be taken back to days gone by where the customer really matters. It has quickly become my favorite place to buy supplies for all of our jobs. Keep up the good work guys.
