In an old Sav-a-Lot is a spacious thrift store with clothes and shoes of all sizes, housewares, and furniture. Good prices and well kept building right next to Ace Hardware.

First time coming here…This was probably one of the worst experiences at a store I’ve ever had… and this is a thrift store…. I’m gonna start with this….The lack of compassion, kindness and curtesy for another human being was actually traumatic. We walked in 20 mins before closing. Literally knowing that we were only going to be in there for a quick 10 min run in. Charity was extremely aggressive. Yelled at the top of her lungs 4 different times in the 10 minutes we were there. MY MOTHER & I.. were the only 2 customers in the building. And she did it just a few feet away from us each time. The 3rd time I was next to her and said mam are you okay, are you having a bad day? & she got even more aggressive & abrupt . I chose to respond kindly and we took our carts and walked to the front. She then proceeds to meet us at the cash out area even tho someone else was already helping us just to cause more chaos & tension. Then yelled for the 4th time at my mother that the store was closing. Then she proceeded to follow us to the front of the building and insert herself into the conversation we were having with the MOD. Interrupted us multiple times trying to push carts around and then locks the front door before we even exited. The MOD herself didn’t seem to give any care about how we were spoken to or treated, & also said that is how everyday looks there and that’s their normal.First time there. Won’t be returningTo add everything was extremely dusty, and most things I picked up were extremely over priced. FURNITURE used & damaged was in the $600+. lamps that were old, out of date & worn/damaged that didn’t even work were $15+. Small scuffed vases in the $10 range and small picture frames that were also damaged in the $5-$10 range …We left feeling completely attacked & harassed. If this is y’all’s norm. This is not okay. It’s 2024 we should all be spreading kindness, and compassion . You never know what someone is going through.. that’s why I genuinely and softly asked Charity if she was okay and if she was having a bad day… because if so let’s talk about it because I have bad days too, we’re all human. The only way we’re going to fix this broken world together is by spreading kindness and compassion with others in our community. We have to make this world a better place together.I don’t normally leave reviews but this experience shook us to our core and we have to do better as humans.

Clothing was a good price, bought 2 shirts for under $8. Non-clothing seemed overpriced, example Christmas lights were over priced at $10

Stopped I here today. Haven't been in since spring. Was shocked at the prices. It seem's to me that they would move more inventory if they brought the prices down.

Service is the reason this is only 2 stars. THIS VERY DAY I went to pick up a piece of furniture that was previously paid for. We had not purchased furniture from this specific thrift store before, so I asked what their process is to pick it up, such as do I drive around back of the store? The two young ladies at the register could not have been more rude or less helpful. They not only wouldn't explain this store's process for picking up furniture, they insulted me, accused me of lying, were sarcastic and hostile and snide to me TODAY. When I told them every store has their own method, and I need to know theirs - for example, Goodwill you drive around back with a pick up paper and an employee goes to get the item and loads it in your car. I was told that is NOT true, that there are NOT any thrift stores that load furniture into customers' cars. When I said it happens at all the Goodwills one of the girls said to the other snidely, "Did you hear that? She's been to ALL the Goodwills!" About this time, I said, never mind, I'll figure it out myself and walked away from the two of them to the back of the store. You should have heard those girls exclaim to each other in shock, "What is she DOING?!?!?" as they watched the woman (adult) employee from the back load the item on a hand truck and roll it to the front door and out to my car. It was hilarious to see them stunned that someone might actually do their job instead of their invented pickup method that would require a customer to bring their own hand trucks in the store and move it out themselves. Can you imagine the liability if a customer had a problem moving an item and hurt themselves, another customer, or broke something? I told the woman that helped me get the furniture out of the store about it and she apologized for their behavior. Because she apologized, she gets a star that increased the score from only one star to two stars. I'm not one for telling a business they should fire an employee that ticked me off, but those two do not deserve to be paid for their cliche-y behavior when they should have been earning their hourly wage by ringing up customers, offering assistance, cleaning, or maybe-just-maybe finding out what they SHOULD be telling customers who need their furniture loaded instead of inventing their own reality-show-wanabe process where they get to say snide things to customers and each other for hidden cameras. You think?

Second time here, probably wont cone back... they had 3 identical bowls from the same set...all priced at tue same time, 1 is $1.50 and the other 2 are $2 each...also, the plain white one was $1.50.. I think this is a shady tactic for people who Are not paying attention as things are rung up.... Their excuse was that it was a thrift store and their prices are not the same on every item but I have never seen a thrift store that breaks apart a dish set and then has different prices for the exact same piece...I bought the 2 bowls that were $1.50 each amd left the others to be bought by someone else

100% of the money this store receives is used to support families of the local community- not “profits”. The items they sell were donated so that they can generate revenue for the above mission. I’m sad to see so many low ratings. My experience was that this store was well kept, clean, bright, large and not overcrowded. The people who were working there were friendly and helpful. Please check it out with an open mind and heart and know that when you do make a purchase it’s going to a good cause.

It's charity, I get it. However, for the sake of our community's needy recipients of their charity, this store won't be left with a lot of shareable profit if their prices remain comparatively high.

I used to love St Vinny's, but this location is awful. Most of the stuff is priced at or sometimes above what you can get it for new in store. They also sell old discarded cheap liquor bottles for as much as $3-4 dollars each. And when confronted about the cost of things they just brush it off. Don't waste your time going here

the prices at this store ARE THIEVERY. they get everything for free and sell a dining table set for $1250. this is shameful and should not be considered a thrift store.disgusting.
