This was the fastest easiest rental ever! I wanted to say Thank you, after looking at other locations we were frustrated but when we came to Store Space I felt like family/old friends. When in the office my wife who was completing the rental was a little on edge while Vickie was calm. My wife had lots of questions and where others failed to appease her by answering her questions. Vickie took the time to explain everything from beginning to end. While looking at units she showed my wife and I how the lock worked and how to open the door! That impressed me! Vickie is so kind, caring and it shows that she is all about her customers. We need more people like her in the world! We lost a lot in Helene and forced to relocate but with Vickie we found what matters! She spoke to us with positivity and suggested people that would help us! Others we have met since being in Florida are not so nice but the compassion she has is amazing that people care like that! The facility is so clean, the doors shine, love the security features. Again Thank you Vickie, you did an awesome Job!

Vicki always AMAZING! YOU COULD NOT HAVE A KINDER MIRE LOVING PERSON RUNNING THIS BUSINESS..VICKI ALWAYS GOES WAY BEYOND THE NORM..IF NOT FOR HER I WOULD NOT CONTINUE TO COME BACK..SO RARE TO FIND A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! IM SURE MOST CUSTOMERS FEEL THE SAME. AND IF NOT I WOULD IMAGINE THEY ARE THE FEW THAT NO ONE COULD EVER PLEASE. NOT SO EASY DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC BUT THIS GIRL IS A ROCK STAR!?

Although many storage facilities I've found in the past haven't met my expectations, I have found this location to be a safe haven for my belongings. Not only is the facility well secured, but the manager (I think Vickie is her name) has went above and beyond to help me and my wife decide that this is the best option to store our belongings. We appreciate the hospitality and professionalism we experienced today.

Rental was quick and easy. Building very clean and exactly what was expected after reading about the site on the web. Manager was over the top nice and we'll come back to that in a minute . The gentleman that works there has been consistent,helpful and professional.
While moving into our unit we noticed it was considerably hot on our floor. Disappointed that what we thought was a broken A/C turned out to be the standard. We out grew our storage unit and ended up getting a larger one on a different floor. Wanting to vacate the small one into the larger one was imparitive. However doing a transfer on line is not an option. No problem office should still be open. Well I don't know what time they closed shop for the day but no one was available 15 minutes before closing. Needless to say that was rectified the next morning . We are crunched for time at this point being that we are about a day behind in our move we ended up staying late to finish. Understood it's not allowed but neither is asking if we are staying in our unit like living in it. Horrified by what my gf was telling me and offended to the point that I will no longer after October is up be using this facility.
Although the manager is the greatest at move in smiles everything is great she's nothing short of just the opposite after move in. All floors are set at 80-81 degrees. A far cry from the meat locker they call an office. This is climate control for the greedy. Why would it be colder in the office where they work than the inside the storage facility it's self?! We ship a lot of goods from our unit . Working on picking the orders for shipment is now a race between a heat stroke or not getting the packages out on time. I wonder now if it's going to be real cold in the winter when we have those nor Easters?! I bet the heat won't be set on 80-81 degrees.
My over all experience was mediocre at best. The gentleman up there is top notch. The manager must have rented storage units in the ghetto prior to coming here. With all the cameras they have in place there shouldn't be a question whether someone is staying there overnight or not one should know when they come and leave. Which makes me second guess how well it's secured. Or is management incompetent and needs additional training on the resources she has at a fingertips.
One more thing before I forget, the bathroom is rarely stocked. Today there was no paper and yesterday there was no paper. Coming in the third time this evening there was a few sheets of toilet paper left on the roll or place there because it was empty for 2 days so perhaps not only are they going to give you a heat stroke but you might be walking out with one sleeve. Ok there's a few others but this is the jist of it.

St John’s Storage Space is clean, convenient and courteous. We have a few units there for our staging business and love the climate controlled storage. The staff deserves 5 Stars all on their own! They are amazing to work with! ?????

Vickie and Maynard exemplify the highest standards of courtesy, integrity, and professionalism I have encountered in the self-storage industry, spanning across three states.
From the moment I walked through the doors of Store Space, Vickie’s eagerness to assist was immediately apparent. Her calm and pleasant demeanor made every interaction feel personal, respectful, and consistent—regardless of who she was serving. I observed her handling multiple customers, each time with the same level of attentiveness and care.
Though Store Space's pricing at that time was higher than some competitors, Vickie graciously referred me to another facility, prioritizing my best interests. However, my experience at the referred facility was far from pleasant. The manager there was not only disrespectful but dismissive, despite my polite feedback. Though they offered a lower price, I firmly believe that how you're treated is far more valuable than any discount.
I quickly returned to Store Space, where both Vickie and Maynard welcomed me back with the same warmth and eagerness as before. This time, they were able to secure a special corporate-approved deal, working diligently to ensure it was the best offer possible—and it truly was!
I am so pleased with their exceptional service that I extended my stay as a customer beyond my original plan. Vickie, the Manager, and Maynard, the Assistant Manager, represent the very best in their field. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication to doing right by their customers make them stand out.
If you value respectful, courteous, and ethical service—with a smile and even the occasional laugh—Store Space is where you need to go, especially to see Vickie.
Additionally, Maynard is on the rise and will soon manage his own location. If the St. Johns Store Space isn’t convenient, keep an eye on Beacon Point in Jacksonville, where Maynard will be leading the team once they open. Check in with Vickie and Maynard for the opening date.
