I went into the store at the Avenues Mall to check out the clearance racks. Racks were marked "Clearance additional 60% off reduced price". Upon checking the tags, I found no items had been already reduced. I asked a store employee about this & was told "there is a scanner on the other side of the mirror that you can use to check the price. Then 60% off the price will be taken at the register." I used the scanner to check prices and selected my items. Upon checking out, the items registered at the prices I had seen on the scanner. When I questioned the cashier she said, "you received the 60% off." I said that I had not received the additional 60%. Her reply was, "do you want the items or not?" Had I not been selecting items for Christmas I would have left them. Definitely a case of false advertising.

No star rating…So disappointed with this store. I asked if they adjusted prices for an item they said was unavailable but had them in store. Sorry for expecting you to do your job! Attitude from the black associates probably a manger and when I asked for my order to be placed in a bag instead of boxes (28 items ordered) I thought I asked for a kidney. Thanks for dumping the box of clothes in the bag like it was end of shift trash. No way was I going to finish shopping for the 6 other children I had left on my list. Not to mention the attitude for expecting a receipt. Their register was messed up and they had to corporate and it was an inconvenience. Thanks for the unprofessional experience. Bad customer service. Hope Santa brings them better attitudes. Happy holidays.

I never have a bad experience here. I always pick up my online orders in store to save an additional 10-15%! I park at the closest mall entrance, and I'm always in and out!!

Staff needs to be retrained on what customer service is at the Avenues location. There are times I arrive past 10 am and the store is not open. From staff to manager, no customer service whatsoever.

Too bad I can’t choose ZERO stars. Customer service is awful, manager of the store lied to me that they don’t exchange on-line orders at the store when it says opposite right in the corporate policy! She refused to exchange merchandise!

I agree with the last review definitely needs a ZERO STAR! This location and company should just close down. Most of the customers are parents who work hard to be able to purchase affordable clothes for their kids but to be mistreated and cheated out of your funds is disheartening. We know these billion dollar companies don’t care and do nothing to accommodate us on our loses but in the military one of the core values was integrity, which is something this company clearly does not have. I placed an online order that took 8 hours to fill! When I arrived at the store, I ordered 16 items and only received 8. My card was charged for all 16 items and they did not offer any refund or even a store credit. I have to dispute the charges with my bank. Not to mention the order taking 8 hours to fill I also waited 45 minutes in an empty store for only half of my order. I even looked around the store for the items that were missing and saw at least 2 of the items which led me to believe that they just did not want to do their job while stealing my money. It’s sad that people like myself have fought and died for this country just to have our money stolen from these multi million dollar corporations with no accommodations. It’s truly sad!

Google needs a ZERO star option. The customer service at this store is the worst thing I’ve EVER seen. I call to get an update on my order because I have ZERO emails from them and I guess that was just too much of an inconvenience for the woman that answered the phone to answer a simple question of “is my order ready”. I was never rude to her and even said, “have a great day” when hanging up, only to BE HUNG UP ON BY HER. I get into the store and there is not one single smile, not a “how are you today,” “how can I help you.” NOTHING. I open my bag and half my order is missing. I asked the woman where it is and she says, “oh, I couldn’t find it”. I said so you don’t alert your customers because I would have cancelled the entire order and saved myself a trip. No apology or anything. Just a blank stare and a “you should have gotten an email”. Now I’m sitting on hold for their customer service department, which has a 30 minute hold time, and of course, their online chat is unavailable. I have not one email regarding these items being canceled, my money being refund, absolutely nothing. There are a million other clothing stores you can shop at where they provide GOOD customer service. Good luck if you choose them.

The type of customer service you receive at these stores is the biggest reason why the mall is always empty. I ordered stuff online and to “save” 15% decided to ship to store. Worst decision ever, the store is supposed to be open @10 we arrived at 10:05 and the lady inside the store looked annoyed that we tried to open the locked door few too many times. Her time is apparently more important than ours.She Just looked at us through the window and kept doing what ever she was doing. 15 mins later she was still walking around doing her stuff and store was still not open. Since I had to drive from the beaches I didn’t want to return another day. I timed my pick up according to the business hours because I needed to get back and dropOff my daughter at school @11. @10:25 store still Closed. I was getting a bit annoyed I could tell she literally was dragging her feet. So I called the store to ask what time they open. She mumbled something I could not hear. Then noticed me outside the store on my phone said 10:30.The sign on the outside has closed business hours but does not say what time they open. I feel like they removed the open hours time frame, so they can open what ever time they felt like that morning.

My experience is i when in for return online purchased, she took my items and then other bl***k pp come to check out, she put me aside and tell me wait she is gonna service them first. If they have little items to check out, i am willing to yield to them first or at least she ask me if i let her take them first. She did not. That customer took a punch of clothes to check out and ask a lot of things, then she kept check out another bl***k customer and let me wait and waiting line getting long. That’s not how it should not be. I took my items back and leave and let she knows how she treat me if she does not want to serve for asian that’s fine i’ll do it online. Shame in her. Customer is customer, we all pay the same and i did not give her any trouble, i am kind of easy customer but it not how it should not be. What come around goes around

This place has bad reviews for a reason, the coworkers only care about getting paid and not making money for the store. The store was supposed to open 11 minutes ago, they see people outside but it doesn’t look like they care. Opened at 10:12

It's rude to rush guest out the store when the mall haven't even announced that it was closing. It was already my plan to run in and out only needed a shirt and pants for my God baby to Change into but for the associates to continue to say we only had 5mins when it was only 745 and mall wasn't even closing until 8 was rude. With my being a former employee I have never rushed guest out the store while they were trying to ship regardless of the time it was. I've counted register with a guest still in store. I'll keep the little business I was giving to online only!

Ordered online ship to Avenues store. Received notice order was ready for pickup. Went into store the next day. They said it wasn’t there and said to check back later. I waited 5 days and called only to get a runaround from the sales person because I haven’t received ANOTHER notice via email. I finally got her to check and it is there and ready for pickup but when I asked she says they can’t tell when it was received.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I won’t be purchasing fro Children’s Place again.

Lazy rude employees! Customers aren't allowed to try on clothing they have a sign on the door indicating dressing room close. I asked the employee how can a customer try on something her response was to try it on at home if you can't wear it bring it back. First of all, Who the heck wants to come back to your attitude. I ask for the manager the manager said someone locked the door and maintenance had to unlock it. Yeah ok just say you locked it to keep from doing your job which is putting clothes back that customer's leave in the dressing room. Hire more Sarah's and not Keyshia I will never return.

Customer service was not very helpful and I found them to be a bit abrasive.Ordered something for pickup. I waited 2 hours before going to get it and they said it still wasn't in the system to be pulled. They were able to find it in the system however and they went in the back room and grabbed one for me after a bit. Unfortunately the one they grabbed look to have been washed and had a pen mark and was lacking a tagOddly they're online prices are different than their in store prices even if you order it online but pick it up at the store, odd.I will say their prices are pretty reasonable
