Very nice selection, well stocked, great location and atmosphere. Everyone was very attentive and polite. Seafood, butcher, wine, and plant areas with nice selections as well. They had pasture feed Lamb shanks and loins. Sorry no photos...I'd ran all over town shopping and was done.

I want to give a big shout out to a young man named Carl. I was in your store for the first time the other day doing a doordash for a customer. I couldn't find anything on the list. I asked Carl to help me even though he was in the middle of a big project he stopped what he was doing and walked me to every item I needed for the doordash customer. He was a lifesaver. Also just wanted to say I have been in customer service management for the last 25 years and I know good customer service when I see it. If all your employees are as good as Carl you are in good shape. Good employees are sometimes hard to find and he went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Carl for all your help that day ?

Brought chicken salad on March 30 and had to spit out parts due to chicken that was overcooked or grissel. Do not purchase chicken salad from this place.

Customer service sucks. Tried to get a panini and took them 20 minutes to burn it. Then the employee gives the most attitude about warming up another one. I don't need anything at this store bad enough to deal with that.

The Fresh Market won't have everything you need for the week, but if you are looking for a quick gourmet dinner to put together & the "essentials" - this is your place. It is a nice, mellow shopping experience compared to Publix & WinnDixie.

Part 2 (my review was too long, so I had to break it up into two parts)Then, almost like a grand finale to this whole terrible experience I was checked out by the oh so (not) wonderful, Trevor. As I walked up to the cash register there was another person in front of me so I was taking a few seconds to check the items in my basket because I did have two separate purchases, and when Trevor approached me to take my cart I said “Oh, can you just give me a quick sec to make sure everything is correct because I’m making two separate purchases, he said nothing and took a step back and give me a few seconds to confirm everything was good. It literally took less than 20 seconds and when I said “OK everything is good” he pulled the cart towards him, (I don’t know if he pulled it too forcefully or if the item was just hanging too precariously and it clipped the wall as it brushed past) but a glass jar of hot sauce fell out of the cart… It smashed on the ground and proceeded to go everywhere, to which Trevor just stood there and stared at as the liquid was actively pouring out!!!! I almost couldn’t believe how dumbfounded he was, and to keep it from making more of a mess I picked up the broken jar with my bare hand and asked him “do you have somewhere to throw this away??” (as my hand is getting covered in this hot sauce), he pointed to a trashcan, called for clean up, and then just grabbed my cart to open another register to start ringing me up and to which I said “wait a minute I ’m gonna go grab another one because I do need it!”. After I came back with the new jar, he never apologized for the inconvenience or even offered me a paper towel to wipe my hand covered in hot sauce. Honestly, there’s no reason why I should’ve had to pick it up, as it just leaves the store subject to liability if a customer were to get cut by broken glass because their employee refused to act in a timely manner. Honestly, Trevor made the situation so much worse and after being the 3rd unpleasant employee encounter that morning, I can confidently say this store is the WORST Fresh Market I’ve ever been to!

Firstly, I'd like to say how amazing the staff is. While asking for some crab salad during the bustling holiday season, the gentleman serving me made sure to confirm that I wanted seafood. I immediately thanked him and told him, "Thank you for asking!" He was ensuring I wasn't allergic, and that is professional attention to detail. The gentlemen at the seafood and butcher shop are always so busy and helpful, with smiles on their faces. The cashiers are sweet and work well under pressure. Great job! I go to The Fresh Market when I need things I wouldn't typically find or a level of quality from other stores. I'm cutting down on my diet, and they have amazing deals for members, like $3.99 ahi tuna steaks, which agree with my tummy. I've been eating high-protein, nutrient-dense, low-carb meals for a while now and dropped weight, knowing the food I'm getting is top quality. Another thing I love is being greeted when I walk in, with all the beautiful flowers on display! Since it's the holidays, it has a certain flair to it, and I love it. Though the store is a bit out of my way, it's worth the ride. Here is what I've been making with ingredients from The Fresh Market that don't break the bank! It's better to make it yourself in this time of inflation rather than buy expensive pre-made items from other stores. My poke bowls! ?✨️❤️?

I came here looking for a specific salad dressing that no other local grocery store has (the brand is Cindy's Kitchen) and they had it! Then I wandered around for a while because this store is just so beautiful inside. The set up, the lighting, the holiday decor, the low music. I am so glad I stopped in; I will be back often! I didn't need any assistance but the cashier was incredibly kind checking me out! Highly recommend.

What a great store you could spend hours looking at all the alternatives that are offered.I felt so strongly about Fresh Market I have that I applied for one of four jobs that I was told were vacant. I was quite persistent and had an excellent interview and was told I would be called back for another. Much to my displeasure I went back to the store and pursued the open position within the meat department because I felt that I had a lot to offer including product knowledge, culinary skills Plus I have done this type of work for many years and my family's supermarket. I was disappointed to hear that the position was filled when I was told they were going to have second interviews I was told the position had been filled but I didn't believe that it was age discrimination you see although I don't look my age I am in fact 78. That didn't matter but I was told any graciously accepted that the position was filled when I knew damn well it wasn't.So, perhaps Whole Foods will not feel the same way but that's not to take anything away from the store has a great product mix at a price but to develop products today cost many thousands of dollars.

I did a 350.00 order online of fruits and vegetables and all of which are horribly moldy old and soggy. Here’s 2 pictures some I just straight threw away. Others are good for maybe the next 2 days if that. It’s like ok I understand something may not be perfectly ripe, however most things are not even edible. I’m not one to go back to a store with all of my things and create a fuss. I just take my L and never go back. This is truly so sad and disappointing. I will never return. ?

Not very customer service oriented which is a shame for a smaller market. Great seafood and butcher and claw to home so we do shop there but ultimately end up finishing our shopping at Publix where they actually careJust bought a nice ribeye and would have continued shopping except for the rude response when I asked the Deli if they sold liverworts in the store …. So off to Publix to buy everything else …. A $300 loss for the store on Atlantic Blvd Jacksonville
