Not good. Got a virtual reality gadget. Knew I was taking my chances, but the thing is...there were no instructions in the box. So...not only did they put a broken piece of merchandise, back in the box to be resold, but they knew it and did not care.

Just had a really bad experience trying to get checked out. The store was not overly busy but they only had two ladies working at the registers and for several minutes neither one of them were checking anybody out. They were kind of wandering around and cleaning off the counters, despite the fact that there were maybe seven or eight people in line... Once the line started getting really backed up they did try calling for somebody else to come help. They tried three times and nobody came. They finally asked for any "mods" to come help and two people showed up. One of those ladies checked me out. She was younger, brown hair, very chubby. She had a very bad attitude, bordering on nasty. She clearly did not want to have to come up there and help check out customers. She literally snapped at me while I was trying to pay for my merchandise.
There were a lot of employees in the store. They were doing the reset from Christmas to Valentine's, this was 5 days after Christmas. It was in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday so it should not have been that backed up.... It was just that the employees were not wanting to participate in the process. By the time I left the checkout line was quite long simply because people were not being helped.

Takes years to be checked out, even when they actually have people at the counter. Store is way too hot on top of it and it makes it unbearable.

I went in to get a few things for my mother. I could not get any service. I asked the woman at the front register to send someone over to assist me with a bag. No one came, so I asked the young lady in the dressing room she actually called someone but no one came. The male manager came to the front registers also a 3rd employee walked up as well. I paid for the small item I picked up. I told three different ppl at the register how I never got help with the purse. They kinda laughed it off. The man employee walked off and the other two women still didn’t budge.

Dressing rooms have been closed for almost a year! I don’t know why this hasn’t been remedied, as I would spend much more money if I could try on clothes before buying. An employee told me there was a leak (december 23) and they’re still closed today (september 24). Not sure what the issue is, but it definitely prevents me from shopping there more often.

Had a blast this past Saturday shopping here. They !maintain orderly items on shelves store is usually well stocked this time with hello kitty everything. Will shop here again

I have literally never in my life been in such a disorganized TJ Maxx. Nothing in there is cheap enough to justify how disorganized it is. I tried to shop on five different racks and just gave up because none of the sizes were organized, there was clearance mixed in with regular stuff all over the place. I also noticed the labels on the racks themselves were unreliable. Like women’s bottoms on a rack that is marked as plus size tops.
I strongly encourage store management to designate some time to have a team of employees go around and actually organize the clothing.

The suitcase that I purchased cracked but I took it back the same day and they let me exchange it. I was a little disappointed that they don’t keep your credit card info on file because I didn’t have the card and I was given a gift card for the difference.

I wish I could not give not one star for this store. I had purchased a sweater for my aunt from Marshall’s and was in the area and wanted to make a return at tj maxx which I done before in the past. At first the lady at the front said that we didn’t accept Marshall’s returns which I found that odd she later on asked her coworker who agreed that we can but didn’t know how to process the return. And then that’s when the initial representative I was speaking with stated that she did not know how to process the refund. So the first issue I have is that instead of stating that tj maxx does not accept Marshall’s return she should have she doesn’t know how to her job. And then they called the manger Michael I believe was his name and he came up from the back and told me that it’s up the store discretion to accept Marshall’s returns. He was not friendly and need to learn how speak to customers. I will not be returning back to this location due the unpleasant encounter I encountered today.
