"Fraud or their cousin!?" I would like for everyone to read this review and make up their own mind. I recommend, go somewhere else, anywhere else but this company. Tailor: Mr. Jeff Harden in Jacksonville (JAX), FL. April 10, 2023- A few days after contacting Tom James on the phone about a need for a suit to be worn in conference about 6-8 weeks out-Jeff Harden started texting me with messages such as "Final Call to get the suit ready in time. Reading the reviews and being short on time, I fell into the trap. Jee Harden claims to be the best tailor in the area by the way! He arrived on the date scheduled. He claimed they have all the up to date designs, material and color, which did not seem accurate. He claims that all the fabric for the suits is made in Europe. He emphasized their measurements are supposed to be 100% accurate. Neither of which I would found to be true! They charged me "extra money" for expedited shipping and the total came out to be $1500 for a two piece. The suit was delivered in time (May 30th) with numerous folds or wrinkles on both shoulders (ref pictures). Jeff would not agree that there was something wrong with the suit. After my conference (where many had pointed out the shoulders), I took the suit to a well recognized tailor for assessment. They told be that the fabric is cut short at the shoulder for the suit to accommodate my chest and the sleeves are made improperly. Jeff finally agreed to the fact that the suit was cut tight. He picked up m suit (July 20th 2023) for repairs. After not hearing from them for about 2 months, I reached out to Jeff and the central line in JAX. I received an email from Jeff Harden (Sep 20th) that there has been an issues with his phone and he would get back to his customers the following week, but he never did. I had called their office in JAX multiple time and they would claim that he would call me back but till date he has been absconding. I finally called the main line advertised on the website. A lady called me back (10/18/23) stating that they have repaired the suit and will be mailing it to me the following day. I was shocked to receive the suit jacket in a disheveled condition with nothing being done on the shoulders. It seems like, the jacket had been laying in their storage accumulating dirt for 2+ months. I called the JAX line and the main line, with the same response that some one will call me back and no one ever did.I would like for every one to understand that the reviews for this company are probably influenced. There is no guarantee that the material is made where they claim for them to make it, because there is not way for you to know. The tailor doesn't know how to measure, stays in denial and doesn't care to follow through. The response from the company reps has been shocking and the product for $1500 is unacceptable! Please do not spend your hard earned money on this company!

Jeff Hardin and team run a tight ship. Jeff is so very personable, knowledgeable and honestly makes me look good in these custom clothes. I can’t say enough about Jeff’s style and the quality communication. I’ll take the Pepsi challenge with Jeff and team versus any custom clothier in town.

Jeff Harden and his team are the best. I needed a nice suit on short notice and not only did Jeff and his team deliver on their guarantee I’d have my suit before my event, they came to my job 3 different times to go over colors, size me and then the final time to ensure a perfect fit. Don’t go anywhere else for your higher end clothing needs!

Jeff Harden really knows his stuff. I usually head in there for something specific, and Jeff would pick out exactly what I am looking for. The fit on tailored clothes are spot on. Will definitely go back.

Truthfully, I wish I could leave this as a 0 star review. I was super excited for my husband to get a custom suit for our wedding day - I figured, if I was to get something specially made for me for such an important day, he should as well. I went to the fitting and immediately saw things that stood out to me that I didn’t like. I’m not a picky person, but I know a good fit when I see one. The pants were longer than we requested them to be, the sleeves were the incorrect size, and the shoulder pads were so large that they were actually sticking out. And when I pointed these things out, Evan Miller said that it was fine. He said that if my husband wore the suit everyday before the wedding that the shoulder pads would fall and fit perfectly. I wasn’t okay with that because we didn’t have much time before the wedding and I knew they wouldn’t drop THAT much. If I knew that this was a business that is in no way, shape or form interested in satisfying their customers, we would’ve never stepped foot in the building in the first place. This man was only interested in getting his commission from selling the suit. The suit was returned and handed to Evan Miller, we got our money back, but we’re still being harassed by him and Barbara Carns (a client services manager). They’re saying we’re going to be put on collections if we don’t pay them. For what? A suit that was never worn? For something that’s not even in our possession? My husband didn’t even bring the suit to our venue because he was embarrassed of it, yet Evan Miller is screenshotting photos from my Instagram claiming that the suit my husband is wearing in those photos is his. We had to go to EXPRESS the day before our wedding, paid less than $600 and it fit him a thousand times better than the one from Tom James. We were shocked. Not only did Evan Miller continuously get our wedding date wrong which really worried me because I knew the requested alterations wouldn’t get done right, but he also tried to argue with me about what we didn’t like in the suit. We even ordered a button up white shirt that looked like an absolute bag on my husband and when we requested to return it, he said he wasn’t sure if he could because it was “fitted” to my husband’s body. It was 3x his size! I’ve tried not to be negative about this entire situation but even though we’ve requested them to cease & desist all communication with us, they won’t stop emailing regarding payment. Not only am I extremely disappointed with Evan Miller and this company, I’m honestly hurt. The stress he put on us and our family during such a special time, will never be forgotten. Like I said, it seems like nobody here was interested in satisfying the customer - they just wanted a paycheck at the end of the day. I will never recommend this company. Please leave us alone. update... this was there response... to busy for the client who spends money with them that can longer finish order.Mr. OstolazaI wanted to get back to you on what happened with your account. It seems our factory had contacted your rep, Jeff, and let him know that they could not make the adjustments that had been requested and so they returned the garments and Jeff refunded your payment. He had planned on calling but had gotten tied up. So that is what had happened. I am sorry we were unable to meet your expectations on this order. Please let Jeff know if you should have any questions. I have copied him on this email.VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY. I was contacted without solicitation about possibly ordering a custom suit a few times. I finally decided to go ahead and meet with Jeff Harden and decided to order one of their packages that came with several suits and put a large portion of the fee upfront. This occurred back at the beginning of 2022 and after the order was placed there was no communication for several months. When I finally made contact with Jeff he advised he was sorry but a family issue had caused him to be unavailable for several weeks. I accepted this and we continued to move forward with the fitting at my home of the suits. He then had to send them out for a final adjustment. He sent me a text on Aug 18th, 2022 stating that the earliest available fitting call with the factory would be that Wednesday and that he would have an update then. Once again time passed and passed with not so much as an email or a text to update me. I then called and sent a text on Oct 25th asking about any updates to no response. Once again I sent another text on11/01/2022 asking for an update on my order with no response to my texts, voice mails, or emails. I finally reached out to the company branch office in Jacksonville and left several messages with no return calls or emails. I finally reached out to cooperate and upon doing so i was informed by them that they were processing a refund of my funds and didnt know why. I advised them i was never informed on this or was pleased with how things were handled. I was told they would have someone reach out to me over this experience and as of today no one has called, emailed or texted me on this matter. Do yourself a favor if your ordering customs suits use another company. They obviously have so much business that loosing a customer or treating them very indifferent doesnt matter.

My experience with Tom James, and Jeff in particular, was nothing short of incredible. I had never seemed to find clothing that fit me well off-the-rack in store, and I was worried I would be overwhelmed by the options available, but Jeff made the process seamless and fun. At every step of the fitting process he was very thorough and seemed to check all of the measurements twice to guarantee they were correct. While I ordered suits for interviews I have coming up, I will most definitely be returning for future events. I would recommend Tom James to anyone who is looking to venture into the world of custom clothing.
