Always find the brands I love for a price that can't be beat. Madewell, free people, Anthropologie all in a well managed, clean, organized resale store that feels high end. Everyone is always so helpful and nice, I love buying and selling here. And they actually give you a good value for your items, unlike other resale stores.

My first visit to Uptown Cheapstake was a success! Very nice layout and visual appeal. Prices were clearly marked and end of aisles displayed sizes which made it easier to navigate.I wished I had allowed more time rather than visiting at 30 minutes prior to closing. However, I easily found many desirable shoes to try on in my size. Staff was helpful and friendly! Will be visiting again soon and I recommend checking out the San Jose location for a steal of a deal ??

This place blows Plato’s closet out of the water A. Because they actually look at the clothes you bring in and B. They take and sell really nice quality clothes. They even have some business casual wear which is awesome!!! I found a super cute banana republic blouse that I could wear in the office. I sold a pair of shorts and shirt to them and I elected for store credit. I ended up only paying $1.55 for the banana republic blouse.

This store is a HUGE SCAM to sellers. Beware! I opted to drop off my clothes and come back when they text that they're done going through them. I received a text that I had 30 mins to respond to otherwise they would move forward with the sale and I was told in store this is the process and it's final. I didn't see the text for a few mins and felt rushed to accept the offer. (I've never had a store tell me that I had to answer so quickly without being able to see what they've taken) This appears to be a rather odd way to trick people into agreeing to selling items for a cheap price when they leave the store. They bought 40-something items for $90 and gave me an average of $2 & change per item. Let me also add over half of these items were BRAND NEW WITH TAGS. That being said - the store tells you that they will give you 1/3 of the price they will sell it for. When making that statement, they are lying to the sellers because while I didn't sell the biggest brands (pretty little thing, Missguided, Abercrombie & Fitch & other similar brands) they certainly are selling for more than $6 each in the store. Later that day, they reached out to me wanting to hear my thoughts after selling and I told them I was not happy with my experience. So the following day a girl who may have been the store manager (not sure) called me and I had the option to ask for an explanation where I was told that the most I was paid for an item was $5 and I was paid as little as $1 for other items? I asked for an explanation on this as NONE of their items are $3 (since they apparently pay you 1/3 of what they sell the items for). She basically had no answer other than my brands don't resell for a lot. I told her I understood but still didn't receive an answer as to why I wasn't being paid 1/3 of that not-so-high resale value. She told me next time she will look at my items if I sell to them again. Which I most certainly never will. So I left the phone call with zero answers as to why I was scammed & told basically to come sell again. Completely ridiculous.

Perfect place to find the popular trends at a discounted price. Gently used clothes and shoes. I always find something to add to my wardrobe every time I go. ?

Trying to sell them your clothes is so insulting. Just drop them off at Goodwill. I had a bag filled with 2 pair of Vans shoes, several REI jackets, sport coats, and about 12 other items (all name brands and in good/used condition). Was told to leave the bag and they would email me the value and donate the rest. Fine with me. But the offer of an $11 store credit just annoyed me...felt very scammish. Again, just drop your stuff off at Goodwill and value your time.

Really cute stuff, great pricing on most things! Also, if you want to sell your clothes there the process isn’t bad at all, and they actually take a good amount of things!

My favorite nationwide store to thrift...always!! We went to the Jacksonville, FL location. Friendly service and very organized. Walking into certain thrift stores stress me out because of the disorganization but this place is the best you'll find when it comes to upscale thrifting! Everything is clearly marked and you never know what you'll score when you visit
